1) One permanent Hero Point may be used to avoid a final death scenario allowing a narrow cinematic escape,
2) One temporary Hero Point may be used if you are between -1 and -9 hit points to stabilize yourself to prevent further blood loss,
3) Temporary Hero Points may be expended to power Feats. These grant a lasting bonus for a one scene or one round duration depending on the feat description,
4) One temporary Hero Point grants a character a chance to supplement their d20 roll by 1d6 and add the result (whatever it was - no re-roll) to the d20 result,
5) No more than one Hero Point may be expended per round.

Hey! Here I thought the game had died, for it stopped appearing on my games tab. Something, though, smelled bad, as usually SS would make us know, so I searched the inactive games and here it is!
This weird thing happened also in another of my games. It seems Paizo is playing fate dice with my account :P
Anyway, back on track, and happy to be a weekend driver!

Watch any US special ops incursion as the scouts move forward and the cover front line moves two by two in behind them. Now you have a picture of what we are doing.
A few PCs have been MIA for a while. If they do not post for this combat, I will bot them to finish then leave them in the "lobby" to mill about and hold down the fort as back up while the active players move forward.

Hello there and a happy new year!
I was incredibly busy and overwhelmed by the Corona related situation here, sorry for the long absence!
I was hoping to get back into the game here if possible.
Also hope you are all fine and safe - on several levels after recent events!

Of course, no one is out, we are still mid combat on the first floor.
Sorry folks busy weekend and I was trying to wait out Viorr, Meridian, Kana, and EE. Will update tomorrow with Bots for those PCs who do not catch up by then.
Been held up a bit but finally moved the scene along sorry for that delay. Please post if you are here in the Discussion thread, it looks like we lost EE and Meridian.
As I said, I will DMPC whoever is not here for the remained of this encounter, if you do not check in I will move the adventure along with those PCs "guarding" the first floor. If they do not return by the end of this story arc, I will simply have them fade into the background of Sharn.
I am going to pull EE and Meridina from the active roster for the time being so a smaller group can work through interrogations a bit quicker and explore the rest of the ruined manse a bit quicker as well ;-)

Can't wait to be level 7 and start bardic performance as a move action :P
Level 6 is also good though.
I'm amazed again what' possible with bard here hehe.
Also can someone fill me in on the concrete mission at hand? I read through everything but split over days and that was a bit difficult to extract somehow.
Essentially: a bit of statue (was it just the hand? or missing a hand? I forget. I remember it being surrounded by other valuables (and I think it was very large too?), and therefore its disappearance while everything else was untouched was very odd.
TL;DR: We're supposed to find the stolen thing.
Colrac Hall is the place of the people who steal stuff like this, so that's why we're here :3
Also, this last combat was the first time any of these guys ever bothered talking common. Maybe he knows more than one phrase? :o

All Correct!
Yes, this is the first humanoid you have encountered down here that could speak since the Cleric.
My friends I am sorry to say it but I think I need to finally call this one.
This was the third weekend in a row that I failed to update. Then I am playing catch up during the week inadequately.
I don't want to half ass this and frankly I have been. My apologies. I don't want to keep dragging this out and delaying.
One day when my schedule allows for it, I will run Eberron again and reach out to you all first but for now I just don't have the time to dedicate to this that it deserves so I will be closing the thread as inactive within the next few days.

Thank you for running this, i had a lot of fun here with you as a GM and the people playing here.
I hope we can continue one day and your schedule lightens up.

The whole world is harder now. So don't sweat it.
I just appreciate you trying this hard to do it at all. Maybe we can pick up again later. Warforged don't really age or die easily...so Gauntlet should be ready when the call comes again.
