Right, yes, sorry. I always forget that part. And yes, 2 traits. Any class or archtypes are fine.

I will be putting together two characters this afternoon and posting them in this thread. I'm hoping to have them done by about 4:00 PM CST. Some questions to help me out. Alignments? Chaotic preferred? Doesn't matter? Are we in Golarion? Or is it a homebrew setting? If we're on Golarion, whereabouts are we? I'd like to incorporate a few tidbits about location in the backgrounds if possible. That's all I can think of right now. If I think of more before I leave work, I'll pop in and ask. :)

I will have a feral gnasher for submission in a few hours.

Full , average hp after first?

Oh man, this sounds hilarious, and I'd love to get in on it. Not sure what I'd play, but I'll try and get something good together.

Loup is a real pusher. Great player to have on a PbP. He's probably the most active player on my PbP.

I'll probably have my hobgoblin pyro up tonight. All I really need to do is gear him up and give him a name.

EDIT: for most of the morning I've had the Walking Dead theme music going through my head, but instead of on violins, I've been imagining a couple of goblins na-na-na-na-ing their way through like little green Peter Griffins.

The moral of this story is that this recruitment has damaged me and I don't think it's necessarily a bad thing.

Here is my submission. I'll make an alias if needed or if selected:

Bogul the Beehead

description:

Bogul is a self styled Druid. He thinks he can talk to bees. Boguls voracious apitite has lead to a very minimal skill in cooking, something he has taken to with passion even if he is horrible at it. After a few attempts at cooking, Bogul realized honey makes everyone taste good. So, the goblin has taken to keeping a small beehive in a bucket he wears as a hat, so as to always have a steady supply of honey. Other goblins think he is brave for dealing with stinging bees all he time. Bogul thinks it is worth it. Sometimes others try to take his bees. Bogul tends to bite them. Or throw the hive at them. He has gone through a few hives this way. Bogul isn't one for weapons. If something makes him angry he tries to cook it. Most of his cooking tools have been used in combat.

Aww, thanks, man. I just like gaming and I've usually got plenty of time to post.

Hey, I just figured this GM would want to know from another source when making his decision. :-) (Can't say as I have a problem with any of you guys, really.)

Here's what I've seen so far:
(all goblin unless noted otherwise)
MendedWall - Flame spirit shaman or fire bomber alchemist
Me - Unchained rogue
Gavmania - Fire Bomber alchemist?
Redblade - Hobgoblin pyeokineticist
Kella - witch
Cartmanbeck - mesmerist
Conch - feral gnasher barbarian

Did I miss anyone?

Definitely going to resurrect Gretcha here for this one. I'll de-level her back to 3 and redistribute her items to get her in line with the wealth-by-level. Should be a ton of fun!

Edit: Honestly, I like Ronkus so much I think I'm just going to stick with it. I particularly like the trait "Foul Belch." Not that zombies are even capable of being sickened, but I just like the idea of a goblin fire shaman releasing a spew of noxious gas. :) Please critique as necessary. I made Ronkus in Hero Lab so fixes won't take much time. I'll have to work on the background and fluff tomorrow as I'm busy the rest of the day, but I wanted to get this up here for the GM and possible other players to look at.

Thinking of making an Unlettered Arcanist. All the fun of an Arcanist with none of the evil of books!

Totally gonna make an Inquisitor of Fire! Somehow. Will get the stats up later.

I was thinking about making a goblin cavalier or samurai who really only got the idea to do what he does from seeing a human do it and trying to imitate it, complete with poorly imitated equipment and demeanor.

You should totally go Order of the Cockatrice! Play the character up as being descended from "royalty", holier than thou, and have him wear a chamberpot as a helmet.

You should ask the GM to allow this archetype meant for Ifrits:

Immolator

As long as you have the fluff to back it up, I am fine with removing race restrictions on Archtypes.

Everything sounds great so far.

Ked is done, except for equipment, which shouldn't take long. Also new avatar!

He's fast, stealthy, and likes cutting stuff. Sure, he likes fire, but he really likes blood, because it's such a pretty color, and tasty, and it sprays so much when you cut right here or there.

He's dang near invisible when he wants to be, and has been a scout for as long as he can remember. (If Metaldeath isn't this clan's name, he could have betrayed them for funzies and free food, because chaotic evil...Or I can just change his name since I haven't posted ten times yet.)

He's pretty sure his knives have been talking to him, telling him to paint them red, or that he's secretly a person in a human's game, or that plums are the heart of trees, and other things, but nobody else believes him when he tries to tell them.

Burzik (my previously mentioned hobgoblin ) just needs gear, and a player who won't fall asleep at his desk while he's trying to work. :-)

Have him up tonight as a stablock, will make a profile if selected.

Race: Goblin, 1 Hobgoblin maximum will be chosen.
Content: Any Paizo
Wealth: WBL, though by fluff most of it should be stolen, found, or cobbled together.
Expected end level: midway through 5

Time to look for a nice, flavorful companion to build out from. Thank you for posting that stuff.

Got my fluffy bits up under the profile, but I thought I'd put them here as well.

Spoiler:
Like many goblins Ronkus never thought much about the voices he heard in his head. His clan mates and friends were always carrying on conversations with themselves, and so he thought the voice in his head that told him to burn things was just another piece of his inside. He also never thought much about the furry weasel that followed him everywhere, as various animals were companions of many of his clan's families. It wasn't until after a strange confluence of events that Ronkus realized there was more at work. One day while petting Bristler and whispering goblin secrets to her, he distinctly heard the voice telling him to burn. He felt the voice in his chest, and immediately his hands were engulfed in flame. Interestingly, Bristler didn't flinch or squeal. She sat very calmly in his lap, and seemed neither afraid, nor singed by the flames. Hands wreathed in flame, Ronkus looked around for something to burn, and his eyes were caught by a layer of dried pine needles at the base of a nearby tree. Oh how that tree burned! The glorious crackling and popping of the monolith's sap filled his ears, and the forest was set alight by the wonderful light of that fire. He danced around the fire, and watched the fire spread, soon many of his clan-mates were dancing, yelping, and clapping, at the wonderful destruction. It wasn't long after that incident that the clan warchiefs took him under their wing, and brought him along when they went to raid the nearby human settlements. They rarely gave him more direct orders than, "burn it." Yes, how he loved to burn, but he found that he could also prevent his friends from burning, when he wanted. Thankful, the warchiefs sometimes gave him some of the pretties they picked up along the way, weapons, armor, and other oddments. His most precious gift was a glittering golden ring with a small red jewel, a jewel that burned like fire in the light. He felt safer with that ring on his finger. Ronkus learned to love war, the screams, the running, the burning!

Yes, he and Bristler love the burning. So he spends time listening to Bristler every night before he goes to sleep, stroking her soft fur and listening to her tell him how to burn, feeling her voice in his chest. Then he dreams of a world on fire, and in the day, when he calls on the fire, it comes, and the world blazes.

Strongly considering a goblin Unchained Monk with Roll With It and some style feats.

Roll with it is such a fun flavorful feat

I just started building my cavalier and then saw the goblin gunslinger feat. And now I'm thinking of making a gunslinger instead.

I'm thinking of giving him double barreled musket he stole from a human or a dwarf, which would look beautifully oversized in his hands.

just realized the feat only removes the attack penalty, not the restriction that i cannot wield a larger two-handed weapon.

Yep, Ked has Roll With It, because as a scout, charging sneak attack makes that feat so relevant, considering partial charges can be done when you're staggered.

Behold, Parg the Smart! The first goblin to learn how to weaponize the words in his head!

I took Quick Study, but I'm not entirely sure it's compatible with the Unlettered Arcanist archetype. I just like the mental image of a goblin trying to squeeze spells out of a rat. If it turns out to not be okay, then I'll change it.

Dotting with major interest. I'm thinking maybe a cleric or wizard necromancer. If I were to be a wizard instead of writing spells could they be done in pictures? So he doesn't lose his soul by writing things down.

Otherwise I have always thought that being a hobgoblin fighter would be fun.

Also how much gold do we start with?

I am working on a goblin alchemist

Sir Tarki of Boghole, goblin cavalier of the order of the cockatrice, Threeshades's entry.

Only need to make background and description.

Three things:

1) I could not possibly be any more excited about this, because if I was my head would explode.

2)@Parg the Smart, your defensive stats are off, and it says you have 0 hp? Methinks you got a glitch somewhere.

3) I can totally see Ronkus giving Tarki Dogeater and his trusty wolf Resist Energy Fire, before they wade into the melee, so they can keep hacking, slashing, and stabbing while fire bombs, and fire magic explode all around them.

Did I mention I was off the charts excited about this? I fear I might have a little goblin in my soul.

Such is the life of a goblin's familiar. At least he gets food scraps sometimes.

Burzik still isn't geared up all the way, but here's background and basic statblock (it feels weird equipping a Kineticist, weapons felt so superfluous)

Spc. Burzik, 23rd FSG:
Burzik’s place within the command structure of the 23rd Fire Support Group was always a bit tenuous. The inherent hobgoblin prejudice against arcane magic paints with a pretty broad brush, and his pyrokinetic abilities were seen as the same thing. But still, Burzik did his duty and followed regulations diligently, so he held on.

Trouble finally came the day a captain’s horse was allegedly spooked by his flame during a training exercise. (The captain was out of position, and it was never clear exactly what set the horse off, but Burzik knew you never win that sort of argument.) Burzik’s reprimand came in the form of a transfer, to become a “liaison officer” to a local goblin tribe. The tribe is to make a diversionary attack on a human town, while the army that Burzik’s 23rd is attached to assaults another position elsewhere.

Burzik feels this is a huge dishonor, but is sufficiently “bought in” on his race's ethos of Duty to the chain of command that he feels his best way to regain acceptance is to do his job well. So by the Nine, these humans aren't going to know what hit them!

I just want to take some time to apologize for those outbursts. I acquired those aliases a few days ago when I realized not one of those four was taken, and there's just a great need...no...a responsibility that comes with having the news team. You need to interject jokes with them when you can, no matter how poor, and qhen Ron was mentioned... with great alias comes great responsibility.
