Once Rianna goes
ROUND 3. INITIATIVE 8
"Whoa, wait for me boy. I know, I see them. Two down, let's put a stop to this."
Once settled, she levels Nettle at the Boar and calls out, Pig! You need to stop hurting my friends! You hear me Pig!", as she goads Thistledown into a charge (moving 10 M-8) (being a large opponent should allow Betony to stab the butt with reach while Thistledown bites the front.)
Activating Shield's Challenge +1 damage, and +1 to hit if it attacks someone else.

Seeing her earlier magics fail, Rianna tries a different tune, harsher but just as seductive.
The Brambleknight streaks from the riverbank, Nettle couched. Thistledown hurtles towards the rampaging beast. Unerringly Betony drives Nettle's point where it sinks deep into the boar's flesh. She withdraws it just as quick, the lance remarkably bloodless. And the boar squeals..
The druid follows quick on the aftermath, driving a swinging charge of his own, his overhead slice opening up a vicious wound on the right flank. It just had seem the beast might go on forever but after the last two hits, a certainty that it could be bought down glimmers.

Prone MW Battle Axe Attack: 1d20+2
MW Battle Axe Damage: 1d8+3
Whoa, cheater! How did you just heal 9 hit points and become conscious again? =P When Dieredon drinks a potion, Skane does not taste it. You two are not the Corsican Brothers.
Bjorn takes the goring better than expected, the wound not quite as serious as it should be. "Koma lítill grís! ÉG er hrífandi þú til markaður!" He sneers as he brings the scythe around for another swing.
Melee scythe attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13
Damage: 2d4 + 6 ⇒ (2, 1) + 6 = 9

Skane mumbles something in his slumber, but does not stir.
Rianna moves in closer, readying her sling while doing so.
The gnome knight scores another hit with her lance, the boar now looking at the verge of collapse. It remains it the fight, despite attacks from the bear and the wolf, which only scratches its hide.

Dieredon notices Wesh's strategic move, and with a devious grin on his face, he slides five feet to K8 and attacks from a flanking position with his Elven Curveblade.
CB ATT: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11
CB DAM: 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11
WTF! Grrrr...Love the Corsican brothers reference!
DM randall793
Wounded by the humanoids standing before it, the boar fights ferociously on..attempting to gore the newly risen elf, who, in tandem with the priest tries their best to bring it down, alas unsuccessfully. It gashes the elf's armor again with a telling mark.

@Dieredon, in that case the boar's dying wish is fulfilled as it sends Dieredon sprawling down again.:) Sorry to have missed that.
The staggering boar, on the receiving end of strikes from the bard and cavalier finally succumbs and slumps down, breathing heavily before Thistledown tears its throat out.
Combat over..tend to the wounded. Pork chops anyone?
DM randall793
With the threat of the boar gone, your noses unmistakeably pick up the pungent odor of rot, in addition to the filthy hide of the slain boar. Obviously, the stink is coming from beyond the boulders.
Dusk is approaching soon. With a number of companions still unconscious, efficient use of daylight time should be in order before darkness descends..

Unconscious: Skane and Dieredon

Skäne “Countless” Ingvârssonn
Skane staggers to his feet after two charges from the wand jolt him back from the Niflheim express...
@ 4/13hp - Wesh I'll be needing a bump or two more :)
The Northman tastest blood and a faint trace of something else...
Svín? úlfur?
Shrugging his shoulders he turns his attention to his ragged bloody breeches and rent kilt
"Óákveðinn greinir í ensku tomma fleiri vinstri vildi hafa gelda mig har har!"
Óákveðinn greinir í ensku tomma fleiri vinstri vildi hafa gelda mig har har! = An inch more left would have gelded me har-har!
Óákveðinn greinir í ensku tomma fleiri vinstri vildi hafa gelda mig har har! = inch further left-hand would unman myself har har!
Dieredon D'atarisian
Dieredon shakes the cobwebs from his head, and immediately winces in pain from the goring that he took. Having been brought back from the throws of death twice by the beast, he staggers to the carcass and spits a mouthful of bloody phlegm on the animal.
Thank you Wesh, but as you can tell, I think that I may be in need of more healing.
He then takes in the scene of slaughter around him.
Welcome back Skane...i guess that we are harder to kill than was expected.
Status: HP: 4/11

Behind the boulders the stench grows markedly. A natural sheltered ring enclosed by the boulders make it an excellent spot for a campsite. Evidently, the three bloated corpses spread around the now scattered remains of a fire seem to think so too. Parts of their limbs missing and all missing their ears, the cause of death unmistakeably is due to the vicious wounds suffered by each of the bodies.
The seems to be no obvious valuables left around, save for what the corpses are wearing. One body, with torn clerical vestments has the remains of mangled chain-mail armor on. While the other two bodies are clad in tattered chain shirts.
Edit: add 200xp for your troubles
Björn Helsingrsøn
@Rianna - That would be a UMD check for you as you are an arcane caster.
@Betony - That was probably for the best as Bjorn would have good naturedly socked Thistledown in the jaw when he jumped up to lick Bjorn in the face.
At his oar brother's words, Bjorn nods his head sage agreement. "Já , margir fleiri hrææta vilja koma til this staður. Við mega andlit þá þangað til við ert þakinn í dýrð eða okkar leifar viða að sér hrúga æðahnútur í endaþarmsopi af skítur."

Við mega andlit þá þangað til við ert þakinn í dýrð eða okkar leifar viða að sér hrúga æðahnútur í endaþarmsopi af skítur. = Yes, many more scavengers will come to this place. We may face them until we are covered in glory or our remains lay in heaping piles of s+~%.

Survival: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22
Yes, Skane, it would be wise to burn the corpses immediately, or send them down the river to disseminate the stench. Putting them in the river will enable us to use the campsite immediately without the smell of burning flesh. Rianna or Wesh, do any of their possessions appear to be magical? Would you and Bjorn care to help me get these to the river so that we can send them to their maker?
Björn Helsingrsøn
Waving his shaggy arms at the ranger, Bjorn decries his intent. "Nei! Nei! Gera ekki kasta þá í á. Þú vildi eini villa vatn og orsök þessir með straumnum til verða hræddur. Heimskulegur! Þeir ert aðgerð einmitt hvaða þeir ert millitíð til gera. Leyfi þá vera.

Do not throw them in river. You would only foul the water and cause those downstream to become scared. Foolish elf! They are doing exactly what they are meant to do. Leave them be.
