The crossbowman (AC4) manages a look of surprise as his neck seemingly sprouts an arrow shaft. He collapses, gurgling. @Dieredon. With a cumulative -4 to stealth roll, you're visible to all.
Rianna, Axeman 1 is already down. Changing your target to Guardsman 4. Will save 1d20 ⇒ 8 Fail!.
As the clubman (AJ9) raises his club to strike, Rianna's spell brings a blank stare as tries to remember some forgotten errand.
Clubmen
G6 moves to AK10 and flanks Skane before attacking.
G6 attack Skane 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 3 + 2 = 12
The hit bounces off Skane's armoured coat, ineffective.
G1 stays put as he too flank attacks Skane.
G1 attack Skane 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 3 + 2 = 15
Skane manages to block the drive with his shield effectively.
G7 spots the skulking elf and he closes to engage.
G7 moves to AI0 and attacks Dieredon. 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19
damage 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10

But he fumbles and misses entirely.
Skane to act. Bjorn to choose target of attack. ===MAP===

His beard now streaked with crimson Skane continues to use his shield to great effect despite the biting pain in his axe shoulder still fighting defensively

Surrounded by enemies, Bjorn lets out a roar in thanks and honor of the ursine spirits, to whom he has pledged himself, for the bounty they are providing unto him.
His basso voice rumbles out a joyful warsong, the sound of his scythe slicing the air as he swings towards an injured foe keeping musical accompaniment to his exuberant praise.

Skane directs his attack on his previous attacker, who anticipated this attack and easily avoids it.
Bjorn scythe bites easily into the dazed clubman, leaving just barely standing, shaken out from his reverie. Bjorn crumbles down, exerted from his grievious wounds.

Rianna in all her wisdom notices that Bjorn is down and Skane is not far behind. She begins to sing. Trying to take up the song of the Northman. Hoping to keep the clubmen from noticing Skane. You guys will have to help me with the words as I don't really know the song you were singing.
Rianna is trying to use her "Disappearing Act", Bardic ability. This allows her to try to make all foes within 30' treat any one ally as if he were invisible. Will save, DC 14. If this works, all foes within 30' of Rianna will treat Skane as if he went invisible. Of course it also means that Rianna might not live to see if it worked. ;)

DM randall793 |

Dieredon steps back and chugs down a potion, revitalizing him.
Wesh calls down the favor of the goddess, before steeling himself for melee.
Rianna sings prone, diverting attention to herself with the act.
How effective it is remains to be seen..
Clubmen
One of the clubmen decides he's had enough and withdraws, only to collapse at the end of his weary retreat.
G1 and G6 partner up, trying to surround Skane and ignoring Rianna.
G1 5ft step AN9, attacks Skane.

His battered shield holding up, it deflects another well aimed strike.

Working overtime, Skane counters each strke with a whirl of his shield.
Axeman charges Rianna, AL10
attack 1d20 + 2 + 4 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 2 + 4 + 4 = 17 charge,prone
Oblivious to Skane's presence, the axeman bellows and charges towards the prone gypsy. His greataxe sickeningly bites a chunk out of her.

Brambleknight and Skane to act. Don't forget the bless.

Hearing his brother's battle hymn, a battered and bloody Skane smiles a wild grin and takes up the song:

Wesh Velker |

Wesh not being fast enough in his scale mail to reach the fallen bjorn knows that must contiue to fight and tries to get a charge off to charge the down gaurds charges saying a small prayer to Desna along the way knowing he would need all the lucky he would get using his morningstar twohanded as he did not have time to don his shield and swings his hardest to take down the guardsmen to the north of skane.

1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11

DM randall793 |

Dieredon repays the clubman in full as he shifts, draws and strikes him in fluid motion. Weakened by the previous grenade attack, the clubman falls, breathing heavily.
Wesh unhesitatingly charges and strikes two handed with his morningstar, missing his intended target.
G1 shifts to AO8 and continues attempts to pummel Skane into submission.
attack 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18
Surely Skane's armor deserves a thorough cleaning as it disperses the impact of the clubman's blow without due harm.
G6 stays in his position as he turns his attention to Wesh and swings his club in a measured strike.
attack 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13
Caught out of position after the charge, the greatclub grazes Wesh.

Bruised and bleeding Skane is renewed by the arrival of his fellow guardsmen; Hagl vinur prestur! Velkominn til stríð veisla!

Razorleaf finally tastes blood as it bites through the crossbowman's clavicle. Thistledown swats but is parried neatly in return. The crossbowman nurses his arm but seems eager for payback.
Skane's trick backhand catches the axeman unprepared as he raises his shield for the return barrage. Shaking his wounded arm, the axeman grips his greataxe in chopping blow.

The light of the brazier highlights bodies lying everywhere. Moaning and deep breathing could be heard from the fallen as the sound of battle continues on.
Skane's cautious style of battle finally pays dividends as the body count rises around him. His axe tastes blood the second time as it lays open a ghastly wound. Looking almost as battered as his opponent, the axeman continues the fight.
The combined team effort of fey and wolf brings tthe opposition down and the Brambleknight forges ahead to engage her next target. Startled, the crossbowman draws his short sword and prepares to defend himself. He opens up with a backhanded slash, but this is easily dodged by the knight and her mount.
