Bjorn proffers the bright gleaming blade of his warscythe. 'Gera þú sjá hvernig blað skína? Það er því við hafa ekki af góðu kyni það. Finna einhver fljótur af ótta við að ÉG nota það aftur eini einn til standa aftur mig í dag, alfur.'

You have to read Rianna's reverse translation below.

Skane...Rianna, I heard the reference to Alfur in Bjorn's gibberish. Does he have something to say that is worth me hearing about our course of travel, or is he just spouting further puffery?
Skäne “Countless” Ingvârssonn
Skane draws on his rough hewn pipe once more, eyes narrowing;
"Friend alfur does the son of Ingvâr look like a petty advisor or southern speech-thrall? Nei he does not. Let my bróðir's wife tell thee of his grumblings..."
He spits, then adds;
"So North it is? North is good. Orcs are worthy foes, tougher than these Southern turds and I wish to test my mettle once more. Find me orcs alfur and you can share the first höfuðkúpa bolli! Har!"
DM randall793
You head North, leaving the main road behind. Your shadows become progressively shorter and elongate as midday approaches and leaves. You pass patchy areas of worked forest with some areas of dense tree copses inter spaced with lumbered trees. The going is easy, what trail you follow is clear with nary a obstacle in the way.
As you continue your way North the trees start to progressively become thicker and the land more hilly. A sound of a distant tree falling could be heard somewhere ahead.
It's about 2.30pm. map
Dieredon D'atarisian
Dieredon nods grimly and points his mount North.
If Rianna has no objection, or literal translation of Bjorn's suggestions, then off we go. Bjorn, if you have something worthwhile to add, again, speak your mind so I can understand you. Brambleknight! Care to scout ahead with me?
Dieredon pauses a moment to stare at Rianna and Bjorn for any response, then heads off to the north, riding out to the left and right of the group's course to check for tracks and sign.
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21
Skäne “Countless” Ingvârssonn
Skane taps out his pipe, then at Wesh's comment, smiles broadly;
"Bjorn, með sumir heppni það vilja vera a tröw!"
He listens keenly trying to discern more:
Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 16
Bjorn, með sumir heppni það vilja vera a tröw! = Bjorn, with some luck it will be a troll!
Bjorn, með sumir heppni það vilja vera a tröw! = Bjorn , with some good fortune there wish be a troll!

Rianna addresses Dieredon before he takes off ahead of the group. As to what Bjorn has spoken, I will not repeat it. I believe I am still having a hard time with the language and what I think he said I will not repeat.
As we wait to hear the sound of a falling tree, Skane, I do not think we should be wishing for trolls. Ef það er Bjorn's girnd þessi verða vera leggja undir sig , ÉG geta stjórna þessi á minn eiga.
DM randall793
It does not seem difficult to narrow in on the source of the falling tree you just heard a while ago. The forest trail narrows down and soon trees are closing in left and right. You approach the sound of a river ahead. The sounds of hacking on wood is just up beyond the next copse of trees before a great uncouth bellowing cry is heard and in chorus more cries. The sound of twigs snapping and general swift movement is followed soon after. Shouts of men resound, rallying to stand fast.
You could hear the commotion ahead well, although the current trees are blocking your view. Actions?
Dieredon D'atarisian
Dieredon makes a circling motion with his hand, and he dismounts draws his Long Bow and circles to the left quietly until he gets a good vantage point of the approach of the party into the clearing of activity.
Stealth: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23

Bjorn grins savagely at the sounds of glory awaiting his arrival. He pats the future fur pelt on his head as he winks at Betony. "Woof! Woof!" he says as his hand glows for an instant. He then moves straight toward the sounds.
Cast Magic Fang (domain spell) on Thistledown. Move 30 ft towards the sounds
Skäne “Countless” Ingvârssonn
Skane dismounts and readies his shield and axe.
These a cold glint in the Nothman's eye as he slips into a red-handed mood...
He moves methodically forward towards the din of combat, at the shoulder of his fellow Northman, neither caring naught for stealth nor subterfuge.
Mirror Bjorn and also move 30 ft. towards the sounds
DM randall793
As the group rushes into the clearing, a chaotic sight befalls them. A man lies in the middle of the clearing surrounded by a pool of blood. A feral looking humanoid stands above him, occupied in cutting off one his ears. A panicked looking man runs wild eyed towards the group, a pair of similar feral humanoids on the chase.
A fallen log blocks part of the clearing, you spot two more men cowering behind it as a second pair attempts to vault over the log.
Roll initiative...
Feral humanoids: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8
Woodsman: 1d20 ⇒ 7
Skäne “Countless” Ingvârssonn
Skane grimly smiles at the prospect of testing his mettle against these savage creatures, grips his shield and axe tighter;
Initiative: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20
"Nú við roðna okkar blað bróðir!"
Nú við roðna okkar blað bróðir! = Now we redden our blades brother!
Nú við roðna okkar blað bróðir! = today accustom redden sharp brother
Skäne “Countless” Ingvârssonn
Skane bellows his battle cry at the humanoids;
Opens with Berserker's Cry (move action)
"deyja skepna, deyja frændr,
Við sjálfir deyja einnig.
ÉG vita einn hlutur þessi er ódauðlegur:
Heiður af orrusta dauður!" * see Skane's profile for translation
+1 damage to all attacks for the party & allies for 2 rounds - nicely compliments Wesh's Bless eh? :)
He then raises his shield and axe with a wolfish grin, preparing to strike any of the beasts stupid or foolhardy enough to engage him in combat...
Will then ready an attack should any of the humanoids engage Skane or an ally within a 5ft step.

Dieredon D'atarisian
@ Wesh: Thanks Wesh! Just to clarify - it is for next round and not this one, and do I have to take the second roll, or the better of the two?
DM randall793
Awaiting Rianna..
The gnome and the wolf burst out from underneath the canopy, howling. She lowers her lance in a deadly charge, couched to strike her intended target, who manages to dodge it at very last second, missing by a hair's breath.
Skane stands firm, inviting the feral humanoids to close in.
Wesh dances through the bushes, and blesses Dieredon with a touch. 1x agile step used.
Rianna Stendrei

Rnd 1, Bless +1 attack, Berserker's Cry (BC) +1 damage
Rianna steps forward behind Bjorn and Skane and readies to cast a spell when the Feral's bunch up.
Move to L8;
Readied action: Cast sleep on a group of Feral's when two or more a grouped together so I can get them without getting a party member. Don't care if I put the woodsman to sleep atm.
Sleep: DC 15 Will
I do need to know who has the loot that hasn't been divided out yet. I wish to do a little trick with one of the alchemist fire if I can claim to have one in my possession.
DM randall793
@Rianna, roll a 1d2, on a 2 there's one you've claimed earlier (the alchemist's fire that is). Don't forget the stuff from the sack earlier.
The ferals hoot eagerly, sensing blood's in the air. The shaded canopy of the forest providing a pleasing sun-splotched pattern on the floor.
1: This one clangs his shield with his morningstar before attempting to backhand Betony's flank.
Position A12
attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14
damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
2: Stepping over the log, it closes in on Betony and her mount, his greataxe swing clearly meant for the brambleknight's skull.
Position A10
attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
damage: 1d12 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10
3&4: Both of them strike an eager blow, trying to outdo the other ignoring the woodsman's cries. Their falchions whirling as both miss their mark.
3:H7, 4:H9
attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9
damage: 2d4 + 4 ⇒ (3, 2) + 4 = 9
attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
damage: 2d4 + 4 ⇒ (4, 4) + 4 = 12
5&6: The two of them gang up on the woodsman on the wrong side of the log. But the woodsman dodges the greataxes and the log becomes the victim.
5:E8, 6:C8
attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
damage: 1d12 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11
attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
damage: 1d12 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16
Rianna sees an opening and starts casting. Will fire off just before the humanoid's turn. Bjorn and Dieredon's turn.

Round 1, HP: 11/11; AC: 16; Bessed and Berserker's Cry
Dieredon Fires an arrow at the Feral Creature in E8 attacking the Woodsman.
LB ATT: 1d20 + 5 - 4 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 5 - 4 + 1 = 15
LB DAM: 1d8 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 + 1 = 7
Afterwards, he quickly changes to his Elven Curve Blade.
Time to get messy!
Dieredon D'atarisian
Based on what you said, I thought it took effect NEXT round, not this one. I will reroll the D20 in case it is this one...thanks.
LB ATT: 1d20 + 5 - 4 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 5 - 4 + 1 = 18
@Randall: Please use the 18 on the attack roll from Round 1. Thanks
Björn Helsingrsøn
@Betony - Remember that Thistledown also has magic fang for +1 competence bonus to hit and damage. That stacks with everything else we have.
@Randall793 - Bjorn doesn't really care, but he does favor a charge when it's available...
Round 1, HP 14/14, AC 13(charging), Blessed and Berserker's Cry
Bjorn roars with wild abandon to match his oar brother's song before charging at the feral creature before him. K7:I7, attacking creature in H7
Already rolled above but will reroll here in case you want me to.
Scythe attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (12) + 8 = 20 +4 STR, +1 MW, +1 Bless, +2 charge
Damage: 2d4 + 7 ⇒ (3, 3) + 7 = 13
DM randall793
@ Bjorn. Ninja'ed. I was just thinking of running the same actions for your pc. Anyway, the first roll set is good. @Dieredon your second roll has the same bonuses applied as the first. But the first set is adequate.
Bjorn swiftly charges ahead, scythe swinging with power. His intended target a mystery for the panicked woodsman until steel erupts from the flank of the left attacking humanoid, sending it crumpling down.
Dieredon's arrow finds it's target as it sprouts beneath its axilla. The brute grunts, but keeps standing.
Woodsman 1: Finding himself surrounded, he steps back from the murderous humanoids and adopts a flaky defense. Don't kill me. he says, pleading.
Woodsman 2: Trapped with the log behind him, the woodsman lifts his dagger in a defensive crouch.
Woodsman 3&4: The pair group together, putting Betony and Thistledown between the main threat.
Round 2
Skane, Wesh, Betony, Rianna(actions after spell) to act.

Rianna Stendrei

Thinking Betony can handle herself for a short while, Rianna will direct her Sleep spell at the lone Feral (6) attacking the woodcutter (2). Then she will pull out an alchemist fire out of her backpack and move forward around Bjorn and the creature he is fighting. Move to G8 without provoking attacks of opportunity. I will be using Power of Suggestion to make the Feral's think I have a Potion of healing instead.
DM randall793
Awaiting Betony..
Skane rushes ahead, past the woodsman and strikes the right feral humanoid, tearing a chunk out from its thigh. It shrieks in pain, the initial optimism tempered by the wound. I8 vs H9?
Wesh flits round the foliage and whirls his morningstar, the hit glancing off the studs on the armor worn on his foe. I10 vs H9
Sleep will catch 6, 5, 2 and Woodsman 2. You're sure about doing that suggestion thing? It's currently hostile towards you.
Rianna reaches a crescendo on her spell casting, her spell almost complete. Resolving in a few hours time, I'll DMPC Betony if I've haven't heard her by then.
DM randall793
Atop Thistledown, Betony blocks the greataxe swing with her shield, turning it deftly, using it to parry an incoming morningstar bash. Nettle is dropped and Razorleaf drawn, hewing hard at the right placed foe. She draws blood. Thistledown savagely snaps and clamps down at the distracted foe's throat tearing it open. The feral humanoid drops his greataxe and lies very still. B11 vs A12 x 2
Betony attack: 1d20 + 1 + 2 + 1 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 1 + 2 + 1 + 1 + 1 = 17
Betony damage: 1d6 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 2 + 1 = 4
Thistledown attack: 1d20 + 2 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 2 + 1 + 1 = 18
Thistledown damage: 1d6 + 1 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 + 1 + 1 = 7
A magical lullaby fills the senses of 2, 5, 6 and Woodsman 2.....
2 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (13) - 2 = 11
5 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (6) - 2 = 4
6 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (2) - 2 = 0
Woodsman 2 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11
The din of fighting quietens as half of the enemy falls into slumber.
Rianna for actions.
