The good news is that there shouldn't be any other threats in the area. Something this large and nasty probably had a pretty wide range.
No other action for Milo.

Kentaur burns with fever and profusely sweats for several minutes and then abruptly feels better.
The days journey through B4 is uneventful except for a river crossing at the end of the day.
The following day the party travels A4 and breaks out of the forest in the late afternoon to see the remains of a large wooden hall, looks like it burned a long time ago.
A 15-foot-tall statue of Erastil stands nearby right at the edge of the forest, partially overgrown at the base but towering above the surrounding shrubbery.

Milo looks about as he moves towards the statue. Reaching the base, he takes a knee in obeisance and quietly honors his god for a few minutes before continuing to search around.

Tirnel casts detect magic and searches the area. As he sees Milo give respect to the statue and the god it represents, the usually wry witted elf is quiet and respectful.

We have explored so much and yet only the mites indicate any presence of fey activity in this area. Most of the troubles we have faced are mundane in nature, but maybe some residual energy could account for that freakish boar? Maybe as we delve deeper into the wild lands we will find more evidence of my distant kin....

The party reenters the forest and heads south into A5. After a morning of nothing but trees, the party comes to the edge of a clearing. The stink of moldering plants and a strange quiet in the sound of birdlife surrounds this somewhat sunken clearing in the woods. At the center of the clearing, the party can see the soggy ground becomes an insect-infested, stagnant, swamp-like pond, and Tirnel can see sprawled at the pond’s southern edge what appears to be a dead horse.

Tirnel studies the unicorn body and notices that it really hasn't decayed and that it is strangely absent of flies and other insects that are in abundance in the area and usually lay their eggs in dead things. His past studies indicate that some powerful fey creatures from the First World can leave their victims marked in a manner that repulses natural life.
Tirnel Stargazer |
Tirnel studies the dead form for several minutes.
Something quite deadly and dangerous killed this creature. It may be our first serious signs of a powerful fey in the area.
The usually verbose Tirnel becomes unusually quiet and pensive as he returns to his thoughts.

Ibram buries the unicorn and the party moves off a bit to camp for the night before setting off the next day for B5.
About mid day the party reaches a river which is about a 100' across but only 1-2' deep so very fordable.
Just to the south of you on the river there is a sandy island. The island contain thick piles of rubble, branches, leaves, and mostly eaten dead bodies of animals and perhaps a few humans.
The island is about 20' from the shore.
