Ixrul reminds Jrahk that the leg is magical and will self-attach.
TheGuyKnownAsAce
Seeing how the mechanical legs made the big way more agile, Ace considers to cut his own legs off to get robotic ones.
What happens when I transform/change forms with the leg on?
I promise not to make star fox jokes if Ace gets the legs
Rynjin
It's the same cost as the belt and doesn't stack, so...why?
And no, magical prosthetics don't automatically attach. Also remember that they can be Dispelled and stop functioning in an Anti-Magic Field, unlike Jrahk's current prosthetic. Just food for thought.
Jrahk Razortusk
Hmm...making myself that vulnerable to antimagic and dispelling seems like a bad idea. Even without all my current magic equipment I can still be a decent martial fighter, but not if one of my legs doesn't work. I think I'll just cough up the dough for a belt upgrade.
And Ace, my clockwork leg doesn't make me any more agile than I was before. It basically functions the same as a real leg, but with more gears and springs involved. The magical prosthesis (like the Dexterous Leg I was asking about) are the ones that grant special abilities and bonuses, and they're quite a bit more expensive.
Ixrul Morcrom
"When affixed to the stump of a leg, the dexterous leg magically affixes itself to the stump and responds to the wearer as if it were a real leg."
Rynjin
Ah. I'd have to jack the price in that case. Magic Item Creation rules (which are good guidelines) say double the cost for making an item slotless. So 1.5x sounds fair even if you have to lose the leg to use it.

I think the downside is that you risk losing the leg to dispel, and it become a target for Sunder attempts as well as being damaged by object-destroying effects. But whatevs, it's reasonable to say so, particularly for an item that leaves the almighty belt slot open.

All of the things you just said apply to the Belt too, which has 1 HP and 0 Hardness.

I was more referring to your leg being a target for sunder attempts and object damage.

Ixrul crafts some Eyes of the Eagle for himself.
DC 5 + 3 CL + 5 Accelerate Craft = 13, autopass
Ixrul: -1250 GP
1 day
He will then look into crafting a Jingasa of the Fortunate Soldier.
DC 5 + 15 CL + 5 Unknown Spell (Moment of Prescience) + 5 Unknown Spell (Divine Favor) = 30, cannot craft
He will ask Sandra to provide Divine Favor. If that is possible...
DC 5 + 15 CL + 5 Unknown Spell (Moment of Prescience) = 25, autopass
Jrahk: -2500 GP
3 days

Cool.
Once Ixrul finishes crafting his lenses (which takes half the day), he goes to work on the necrocraft.
Humming with an almost manic cheerfulness, he has his bloody skeletons (save for the two advanced ones) bash their heads apart on an anvil before he begins animating the corpses from the town as zombies, who he instructs to do the same.
He then begins assembling the corpses into a massive, hulking, two-headed creature on the deck of the ship, occasionally mending flesh to flesh and skin to skin, in addition to stitching the monster together with wire and leather cords.
He then has Sandra cast Desecrate and Deathwine, before finishing the foul process with a Make Whole and a Blood Money-fueled animate dead.
-25 GP for the Silver Dust component for desecrate, and this uses up one Cure Moderate potion.
With a wet, grinding crunch, the monster finishes fusing itself together, and rises. Huge canvas-and-flesh bat wings stretch out from the creature's back, and it lets forth a low, horrifying croak.
Ixrul smiles cheerfully.
I'll put together its statblock in a minute.

Ace gets irixul to craft the things he wants (I deducted it already from gold, and take 10 or whatever it is to get it crafted)
Also if Ace wants to buy new spells, does it explicitly have to be from the magus spellbook or just caster level restricted?
Ixrul Morcrom
What exactly do you want? I can't necessarily take ten for some things - some items, like the Jingasa, are surprisingly hard to craft.
Jrahk Razortusk
Meanwhile, Jrahk heads to the tavern to spread tales of his crew's exploits.
Like the time they killed a bunch of people and took their loot, and that other time where they killed a bunch of Sahuagin and took the amazing Pirate King loot they had been sitting on.
Intimidate: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (19) + 18 = 37

Ixrul crafts the Jingasa and adds Muleback Cords to Ace's cloak.
Jingasa:
DC 5 + 15 CL + 5 Unknown Spell (Moment of Prescience) = 25, autopass
Ace: -2500 GP
3 days
Adding Muleback Cords:
DC 5 + 3 CL + 5 Unknown Spell (Bull's Strength) = 15, autopass
Ace: -500 * 1.5 = 750 GP
1 day

Only Ixrul would have had reason to stay - he'd be back on the ship at basically all times.
Rynjin
Ace sees a woman that looks very familiar...
After a moment he recognizes her as Caulky Tarroon, Barnabas Harrigan's cabin girl aboard the Wormwood!
She appears to be sneaking around and slipping something into some of the patrons' drinks here at the Riptide tavern. Ace recalls that when he was originally press-ganged, they were dosed with oil of Taggit in secret...
Ixrul Morcrom
Tell the patrons and then beat her to death.
Rynjin
Caulky's eyes widen in terror and recognition, and she shrinks back from Jrahk, opening her mouth to speak.
At just that moment (before Jrahk speaks), however, a man steps up and puts his hand on Jrahk's shoulder.
"Hey big boy, what are you so tense for? How about you let me buy you a drink? I've been watching you all night. Name's Pierce. It fits me, if you catch my meaning." Pierce waggles his eyebrows at Jrahk suggestively.
Jrahk Razortusk
Jrahk calmly pulls Pierce's hand away from his shoulder. "Sorry sweetie, but you not muscular and demonic enough for Jrahk's taste."
Jrahk shoves Pierce aside. "Out of Jrahk's way! Trying to save you from being drugged and kidnapped by HER!"
He points to Caulky as he shouts, making sure everyone in the tavern can hear him.
Ixrul Morcrom
He's called Pierce because he's going to stab you. That gigolo is dangerous.
Ixrul Morcrom
Friendly reminder that you have 10-foot reach, Jrahk.
Jrahk Razortusk
Oh I'm sorry Ace, would you rather I had tapped her on the shoulder and discretely asked her to stop poisoning people?
And I'm not wasting rage rounds on Pierce until he proves to be a threat. I can probably Bull Rush him aside with ease in powered-down mode.
Ixrul Morcrom
What if he's Chen in disguise though?
Rynjin
Pierce backs off.
"Hmph. Fine. Just don't come crying to me later when you want a good time."
He moves off to hit on someone else. A lady, this time. Pierce is not picky.
A woman looks down at her cup.
"He's right! This IS poisoned!" she cries, and throws the cup over her shoulder. It splashes in another pirate's face and...you can see where this is going.
Faster than you can say "SHARK ATTACK!", the entire alehouse has erupted into fighting. In all the confusion, Jrahk and the rest lose sight of Caulky.
Make me some Perception checks. Also, Jrahk, make a Will save.
Rynjin
Jrahk sees Caulky ducking through the crowd, heading for the stairs. The brawl, however, hinders your progress, and the drunken brawlers coming after the crew don't help matters.
Punch: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14
Punch: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17
Punch: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22
Punch: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21
Several punches bounce of Jrahk's breastplate in the melee.
However, none of this concerns Jrahk. All he can think of is how very handsome that Pierce guy was.
"Hey! Studmuffin, come on over here!" cries a melodious voice. Jrahk's best friend Pierce is standing over on the opposite side of the room. Why would he be concerned with some wench he used to know?
Jrahk Razortusk
OH GOD WHERE'S MY WIZARD!
WAIT ENCHANTMENT'S ONE OF MY WIZARD'S OPPOSITION SCHOOLS! YOU HAVE FAILED ME YET AGAIN, WIZARD!
Jrahk decides that this "Chalky" woman that he's never even met is not his problem. It has been far too long since he last indulged in the more sensual pleasures of life, especially from a nice squishy piece of human ass like Pierce. And, well, a pirate captain's gotta indulge every once in a while, right?
Jrahk turns to Pierce, walking confidently and grinning.
"Jrahk has...reconsidered your offer," Jrahk says, giving Pierce a friendly slap on the back.
Slap: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (20) + 12 = 32 wait seriously ahahaha
Nonlethal damage: 1d3 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
Slap Confirm: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (11) + 12 = 23
Nonlethal damage: 1d3 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
"Oh, sorry...Jrahk forgets own strength sometimes..." Jrahk winks at his new lover.
TheGuyKnownAsAce
Ace tries to tail the woman, but going invis first.
corv pls, they did bad things to you too while on harringtons ship
edit:kek
Rynjin
Pierce smiles.
"So you like it rough, do you?"
"Well, we should clear out these guys first so we can go somewhere more private."
Pierce casts a spell, and everyone in the party feels themselves moving faster (even Ace, who is invisible).
Pierce, Jrahk, Lucy(?), and Ace are now Hasted.
