MJ66 could we have been moving forward for two rounds, or would we be there already?

does anyone mind if Mwikali uses the scroll on Wulgar?

It would take a couple rounds to get down to the master’s crypt...

Sir Godfrey sighs in resignation as he realizes he’s been poisoned by an unseen assassin, drawing the blowgun dart from his neck and shaking his head...

So it comes to this... Murdered by a dart coated with venom... B@$%@*&s! Well... Here I come, Lord Jesus... I hope I haven’t been too much of a disappointment as it were...

The English knight drops dead.

Realizing the path was clear, Wulfgar, still raging, draws the last scroll from his pouch, tossing it to his friend Altin "tetlh yIlo'" His halo glowing to light the way, He turns and rushes down the corridor, hoping to find the progenitor of the Vampires while his rage still burned.
two rounds to get there, that leaves him at eight.

As he sees the others heading off he pops out of his lamp and heads down to the ground. He picks up a small stone and casts light on it.

"Here yell be needing this"

He says passing it to Mwikali,

Then he is gone into the shadows to see whats ahead.

Once her spell is done she has Kiku grab the stone and hold it in his beak. she smiles as she feels the thin layer of force about her as she lets her tendrils of cloth swirl about her and her wands at the ready.

"Let us move forward, We need to slay this beast and free the thralls from there subjugation"

Hearing the approach of intruders into his crypt, the master opens his eyes and throws off the lid of his sarcophagus, rising in an uncannily smooth motion to stand before them!

Slithering along behind Lord Perpireen, the magic talking rope inquires: Sollte ich dir folgen, Lord Perpireen? Oder helfen, diesen Vampir-Gefährten zu verwickeln?

German:
Should I follow you, Lord Perpireen? Or help out by entangling this vampire fellow?

It rears up like a cobra upon reaching the master vampire’s crypt...

Hoping the heroism is still active, and that Altin read the scroll 'protection from evil' over someone.

His halo illuminating his way, Wulfgar moves through the corridor into the crypt. Seeing the master supernaturally spring from his sarcophagus, he bellows at the undead. Even flat-footed, the vampire master is elusive, and Lady Giovanna misses!

Rapunzel’s Weave leaps at the vampire and loops around him like a constrictor around a rabbit!

Male Elf Magus 4

Plad’s keen ears perk at a subtle sound—the sharp exhalation of a blowgun to the north—and his sharp elven eyes spy a dark elf crouching upon a flying carpet about a bow shot away, blowgun to mouth! The dark elf had just struck the kitsune harem girl with a poisoned dart! She collapsed with a small yelp and began spasming violently! The dark elf then swiftly drank a potion retrieved from his haversack, vanishing carpet and all!

Drow! Svartalfar! An assassin? Hired by the emir?

In Elvish, he calls out loudly: Peekaboo, Night-Crawler! I saw that, you kin-slaying, demon-buggering tunnel fairy!

Casting a spell to see invisibility followed by a spell to fly, he flies off the crenellated catwalk toward where he knew the invisible drow was hovering upon his magic carpet!

In Elvish: Patience, my dear chap! I was getting to you, but I see you are eager to meet your doom... Pity... I’d hoped to save your lily-white arse for last...

Spinner stands on his hovering carpet, twin short swords drawn...

The two elves, one dark as night, the other bright as day, clash in a ballet of ringing steel in the sky, evenly matched!

*CLANG!! CLINK!! CLANK!! CLANG!! CLAAANNNGG!!!*

Male Elf Magus 4

In Elvish: Ah! Good! I was afraid you’d die too quickly, spider-fondler!

In Elvish: Hahahaha! You’re cute, you really are, starshine... If I weren’t into more masculine types, I’d make you mine...

Male Elf Magus 4

Flipping over the dark elf and magic carpet in an aerial acrobatic display of high elven dexterity, Plad is suddenly at the drow’s back, plunging his blazingly radiant Sunblade through the assassin’s haversack and torso! His dancing sword, Tarantella, beheads the gasping, wide-eyed dark elf!

Then you are more accustomed to getting stuck from behind, yes, my traitorous brethren?

So ends the saga of Spinner Nachtschwartzen, dark elf assassin of the Underworld...

In Elvish: I go to Demogorgon, starshine... I hope everyone you love dies horribly...

With that, Spinner slumps over, dead and damned.

Male Elf Magus 4

Whispered in Elvish, in dying Spinner’s ear: Tell Demogorgon to tell his mother I said hello...

Plad kisses the drow’s forehead and lets him slump over on the floating carpet...

Oh dear, a nat 17 for 26 doesn't hit him? This guy's tanked. No more Rapid Shot then I guess...

Altin sees two fine shots fail to wound the vampire lord, so he holds his bow for one minute to sing himself a song of courage.

Casting heroism on myself. That'll give me +11 with Rapid Shot. That means, worst case scenario, if his AC is 29 I'm still better than a 3 to 1 chance against to hit him at least once. Best case scenario, his AC is 27 and I'm a better than 3 to 2 against.

Also Vanna, did you notice that you rolled a 1d65 +5 for damage last post - but you rolled a 1...! I feel like the dice don't like us this battle!

Round 3:

Enraged by the magic rope entangling him, the master vampire this time uses his wicked claws to tear the magic rope to shreds, destroying Rapunzel’s Weave with a flurry of blows!

Sorry guys, I felt like this was too powerful an item for your party at this level...

Jerking his weapon loose from the Vampire, Wulfgar gasps as he sees the undead creature rip the 'hair bow' in shreds, bellowing "'oHbe' qabuQ'" He swings at the undead again.

Right before Mwikali’s turn in round 3:

Mwikali is about to act against the vampire, who is in the process of shredding the magic rope, Rapunzel’s Weave, to frayed tatters with his claws, when time seems to slow down... The vampire and all of her allies move in slow motion, as if in a dream!

Suddenly, an elderly, black African man in snow-white robe and sandals, holding a shepherd’s crook in his left hand, and an Egyptian cross or “ankh” of radiant gold in his right, his head crowned with a radiant halo, appears before the witch! The glowing African smiles warmly at Mwikali, and extends the ankh toward her, speaking in a strange tongue...

In Celestial: Be not afraid, Daughter of Africa! I come from The Kingdom of Heaven in your hour of need! Take this Egyptian cross, this ankh, and you shall know what to do with it!

Mwikali May accept the ankh as a free action that takes place outside of normal time (similar to a time stop spell), and she automatically understands that it is a special wand of searing light, CL 10th, 50 charges, useable by clerics, oracles, and witches, no UMD check required for those classes. A ranged touch attack is required, dealing 10d8 damage to vampires and similar light-vulnerable undead...

Mwikali blinks unsure of what was happening and yet she also did not fear it. She took the item offered. A relic from the Halcyon days of Egypt, which she knew vaguely about. Still, she raised the item when time reassurted its self and held it firmly in front of herself.
