Lol! Lord P is awesome!

Altin Karela wrote:

Altin follows up behind Wulfgar, ready to cast a bolstering spell on his friend. Why didn't I cast this before we got into battle again? Fool! Singing out an inspiring battle-song, he lays a hand on Wulfgar's back, flooding the Northman with the bravery and resolve of the heroes of yore.

Casting heroism on Wulfgar: +2 to attack rolls, saves, and skill checks for 50 minutes. Sorry I didn't think of it early, Wulfy! Also, I'm going to do my best to stay out of reach of any enemies, at least for now.

Altin, this was the sixth round right? did you go in the seventh round?

Round 6 (or 7? Not sure honestly...)

Four of the vampire spawns converge on Lady Giovanna and Wulfgar, while one leaps off its flaming coffin and charges Mwikali with a shriek of outrage and despair at the destruction of its grave, and another charges Altin as he is nocking another arrow to his bowstring! The seventh spawn glares for a second at Lord P, who is pretending to be a lantern light, before rushing toward the stairway and beginning to descend the stairs—perhaps to rouse the master vampire!

Slam vs Vanna 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 misses! (Does this trigger her parry/riposte? Or only on a successful hit?)

Moves up and flanking slam vs Vanna 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18 misses!

Moves up and slam vs Wulfgar 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 almost slipping on a thigh bone, wildly flailing and missing!

Moves up, chuckling at his fellow spawn’s clumsy miss, and flanking slam vs Wulfgar 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14 misses!

RRRAAAAARRRGHH!!! The spawn roar in frustration at their inability to land hits on the nimble swashbuckler and her hulking Northman ally!

Double move to menace Mwikali, fangs and claws bared!

Double move to menace Altin, snarling and snapping its fanged jaws!

Turning to face the Vampires converging on them, Wulfgar raises his weighted spear, swinging the weighted haft, at the nearest undead. Calling out, "Altin, wa' Haw' pIn'a' ghuHmoH bach." Not realizing that Altin probably cannot understand him in his rage.

Rage, AC -2 attack: Coldiron/silver weighted spear, (weighted end) power attack, heroism + 2 everything
attack: 1d20 + 8 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 8 + 2 = 11 for damage: 1d6 + 15 ⇒ (3) + 15 = 18
Well, so much for a good run...

Celestial:

Wulfgar got hit, but only 5 damage which his DR took care of, but he does apparently have a negative level. Mwikali also got hit and took three points of damage and a negative level, but she is not being flanked as Wulfgar and Giovanna are, of course her AC is much lower.
