As Lord P flies in the pipe, Wulfgar hands the wand of scorching ray to Mwikali nodding to Altin."Altin, Mwikali and Volreg shoot the hell out of them as they come in sight." He nods to Giovanna , "Giovanna you and I clog the middle, I don't know if there will be room for flanking or not." Wulfgar looks down the pipe, casting Corruption Resistance on himself. 'Everyone has a plan, until they get hit.'

The combat finally joined, Altin is glad to be acting rather than thinking and talking. He goes into a deep focus, and draws and fires two silvered arrows in quick succession at the nearest enemy.

Apologies! Yes, I didn’t realize it was silver. Wulfgar does the full 18 damage.

At the postern gate of the monastery, Achiko invisibly scales the wall beside the gatehouse like a spider, briefly appearing at the top behind a sentry’s back before vanishing again and dropping down silently into the courtyard...

Slipping like a shadow into the gatehouse, she tosses a pair of jingle bells into a shadow in the courtyard, drawing the gatehouse guards away from their post to investigate the distraction. She uses the winch to raise the postern gate, allowing half the gladiators and harem girls to rush out of the shadows and into the courtyard!


At the anterior gate, O’Reilly scurries up the wall near the front gatehouse, slipping unseen past another sentry before sliding down the inside wall into the courtyard, creeping up on the bored gatehouse guards, and throwing the lever that quickly raises the front portcullis, allowing the other half of the gladiators and harem girls to storm through the front gate!


The thralls posted on the outer battlements raise an alarm, sounding a gong that can be heard reverberating throughput Safi, including where the Desert Jackals are fighting the vampire spawns at the outflow pipe!

Assuming I'm still within 30' and get PBS bonus... Also, not maintaining luck, lingering performance lets it work for 3 rounds every round I use it.

So how many of these suckers (pun intended) are left, and what is their rough state of health (i.e. are any bloodied/below half)? Are they pretty much clumped together near the entrance to the outflow pipe? Just trying to get a feel for the scene :)

4 of 6 still in the tunnel, 6 more meditating in their coffins further in...

The three spawn still in the tunnel recognize the Jackals as superior foes and retreat back up the tunnel to warn their fellows in the Catacombs!

Releasing his rage, Wulfgar moves back to the others. Looking to Volreg, "For his own good, we will need to leave friend Volreg here."

Nodding down the pipe where the Vampires retreated. "They will warn the others, we must be prepared."

He then draws out the scrolls handing them to Mwikali, while she read the scrolls, Wulfgar begins by casting guidance and then resistance on each of them.

Protection from evil we have ten rounds

Once the scrolls are read and the orisons cast; His Halo aglow, he begins to quickly move down the hallway.

Mwikali casts the protective magics from the scrolls and readies her wands. ON top of that she readies her spells in her mind seeking to ready some decent firepower against them.

Altin moves up the pipe right behind Wulfgar, ready to fire his bow at the first enemy that shows its face.

Actually, how high's the pipe? Is it worth walking on the roof of it with my slippers of spider climb? If it's only 7 or 8 feet high I guess not... GM, if you think there's any point, or advantage, in me doing that, I will, and stealth if possible. If not, no worries, Altin will be up behind Wulfgar.

The coil of rope suddenly hisses like a snake! HIIIISSSS!!! One end rears up like a cobra and sways back and forth...
