Smiling as Mwikali comments about party favors, he draws out his crowbar holding it up so the witch can see, "This is all I brought, I hope it's not to out of style."

He then watches as Giovanna listens for a moment. He adds, "I think it's time to open the sarcophagus."

Resting his sword beside the coffin, he jams the crowbar into the gap between lid and box and tries to open it. As the lid doesn't move, Wulfgar grunts, "Huh." Then tries again.

Mwikali giggles at the crowbar and pulls out the Ankh and holds it up in front of the sarcophagus! She steals her face ready to use the device to blast whatever was inside.


At Wulfgar’s second pull on his crowbar, the lid grinds feee and falls with thunderous clap to the stone floor!

An ancient, elaborately ornamented mummy, unholy green lights glowing from within the cat’s eye gems replacing the eyes in its hollow sockets, stands within, with claw-like hands gripping the halftime of a bronze spear!

A curse upon the graverobbers! It croaks in Egyptian, and extends a skeletal claw toward Wulfgar!

Stepping out of the sarcophagus, it follows Wulfgar’s backwards retreat, reaching out a claw-like hand to touch the Northman... Touch 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (20) + 11 = 31... and though it caresses his arm, it muddles the deadly spell, sparing Wulfgar the threat of instant death!

Releasing the rage, Wulfgar Nods to Giovanna then Mwikali, "well done ladies." He quickly inspects the mummy lord's gear, then moves back forward into the alcove entrance wanting to make sure there are no more threats.

Picking up the spear and handing it to Mwikali, "Looks like it's about your size." He then moves into the shadow filled area.

"I believe it will, This Spear shall be Christened Tumbak'Indung, or Mothers' Spear. She has given me it thus it shall be named after her."Sjhe said with a smile sliding it into the spot of her other spear. She lets that one after wrapping its head in some of the bandages places the old spear in her bag of holding.

"My dear Wulfgar you really are gonna have to show me some of those spear thrusts, for I do not wish to insult this gift the Spirits have bestowed me" She giggles as she looks to the little lord and Vanna.

picks up a stone casts light on it and throws it into the shadowed area.

The archway on the left side of the sarcophagus opens onto a hall some 10 feet wide and 30 feet long, the walls decorated with friezes depicting the jackal-headed god of Night and evil, Set, receiving bloody sacrifices from black-robed priests and priestesses attended by humanoid monsters with the heads of beasts—jackals, cats, crocodiles, serpents, et cetera...

The floor is of blue-and-green-streaked yellow marble tiles, each about 5-feet-square...

At the far end of the hall, another dark archway opens onto other areas beyond...


Illuminating his halo, Wulfgar holds up a closed fist, "Let's take this nice and slow, The last crypt had all sorts of traps." Moving forward slowly, checking carefully for traps as he goes.

I realize it will take a while but Wulfgar will take 20 (29) on perception looking for traps, if he finds any he will ask their Ninja to deal with them. Once he gets to the archway, he will carefully investigate.


Wulfgar detects a few floor tiles that appear looser than the surrounding tiles, as if they might be pressure plates.

Achiko examines the tiles and scans the overhanging ceiling and nearby walls, confirming Wulfgar’s suspicion...

Hai, Wulfgar-San... These are trigger plates for darts that fire from there... She indicates a series of barely-visible dart holes in the wall of the hall...

Working carefully with a set of fine tools she produces from hidden pockets in her black outfit, the ninja attempts to disable the dart trap...

Disable Device 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (8) + 14 = 22

I... I think it is disabled, but... I am not positive... I’m sorry...

"Maybe we should find something heavy to throw on them and see? I dont want any of us getting unessecarily poisoned. Wait maybe our little Lord might go forth and see if anything might chase him this way? I do have a Fireball prepared" she says with a smile holding her new acquisition Tumbak'Indung.

the headband and ring aren't much good to me...got a shield already...and Wis bonus helps casters or rogues...
Maybe we can toss this bag of bones on the tile...might spring the trap... Vanna says, motioning to the slain mummy.

He pulls out the dagger that they got off the evil drow.
Its as big as him. Then as he stuggles to hold it and fly he starts to spin fast in the air, until he is just a blur, his voice comes.

"and a 1......2.....3!

and at maximum spin he lets the dagger go. It flies across the room and goes point 1st into a crack in the wall. There is an audible click.

He flies back to the others

"No idea if I did it, but I wan't take that dagger out if I was you."

He says with a chuckle.

" So who wants to see if it worked?"
