Naravash shakes his head, wordlessly offering his assent for Sarthonn to better arm himself. As he does so, the tiefling carefully pours a reddish potion down Morgrym's throat.

Male Half-Orc Rogue 2: (HP 21/21, AC 16 FF15 T11, F+2 R+4 W+0, Init+1, Per+5, Evasion)

"I'm glad we found something. Let's see what Morgrym recommends to get us all back on our feet. Oh, and please, the armor's yours, Sarthonn. We'll need all the protection we can get."

Sovereign Court

Chronicle Sheets GM Busy At Work........

Sarthonn notices that the Miltral armor is badly made though it's still serviceable. It seems whoever worked this armor had no idea of its value of the metal used to forge it treating it as normal steel. It's amazing how it got forged in the first place....

Male Half-Orc Rogue 2: (HP 21/21, AC 16 FF15 T11, F+2 R+4 W+0, Init+1, Per+5, Evasion)

Is Morgrym up?

Sarthonn does what he can to salvage the gear and items from the fallen foes. He dons one of the suits of chainmail, using care to make sure that his crusader's tabard is displayed prominently over the looted mail.

Not sure what is next.

Male Human (Sarkorin Kellid) Summoner 3, AC 14/10/14, Hp 21/21, Init +0, Frt+1,Rfx+0,Wil+4

"Do we feel we can brace the doors of this room and make it secure, or do we retreat back to Neathholm?"

Male Human (Sarkorin Kellid) Summoner 3, AC 14/10/14, Hp 21/21, Init +0, Frt+1,Rfx+0,Wil+4

Caelus vote Neathholm...

Presuming Morgrym has enough magics to get those down conscious again...

"I don't know how comfortable I'd be with holing up here, even though everyone's up and able-bodied. I think we should fall back to Neatholm and come back once we've all been properly patched up." Naravash does his best to try and cover up his own injuries as he shares, but the deep stain on his side makes it hard to disguise his own wounds.

Sovereign Court

Chronicle Sheets GM Busy At Work........

Pulling back seems to be a good idea and Neatholm is but a few hours away.

You are greeted with surprise though you are rushed through to the aid of the resident priests of who spend the night to heal all of you up exhausting their own energy. The guards are extra vigilant for the night and your rest is fitful as you are all watched over by the alert inhabitants of the town.............

Morning comes..........or what passes of as morning in the undergrounds.

All right lads, we'll get back there and make sure them beasties don't get the opportunity to hurt others again!

As Morgrym says this his hands move fitfully up and down the new scars he bears...

Male Human (Sarkorin Kellid) Summoner 3, AC 14/10/14, Hp 21/21, Init +0, Frt+1,Rfx+0,Wil+4

Arriving at Neathholm, Caelus takes the time to summon Oynar back to him, and expends his power to bring the eidolon back to strength.

Oynar comes back at half hit points, or 9. Caeuls has 3 first level spell slots left, so he'll use lesser rejuvinate...

1d10 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
1d10 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3

After which, Caelus gratefully collapses to sleep away the remains of the night.

In the morning, he recalls Oynar, and readies his gear.

"Let's be about it, then."

Naravash nods at Morgrym's words, his hand thoughtlessly drifting to the mended wound in his side. "They're sure to have reinforced that entrance. We should be ready for more violence."

Absolutly Nothing.

It seems that the entire place has being cleared out and everything seems to point to a rather hurried evacuation. Bedrolls and blankets are left behind discarded. Open bottles of wine are laid open and scattered. It seem that the whole place now reeks of wine, beer and other alcholic beverages.

Tables and chairs are overturned with some being broken and their parts left scattered around.

There doesn't seem to be anyone around. Even the bodies from the previous night is gone.

"Looks like we spooked them and they all bolted. If they left in a hurry though, maybe they left some things of use behind."

Male Half-Orc Rogue 2: (HP 21/21, AC 16 FF15 T11, F+2 R+4 W+0, Init+1, Per+5, Evasion)

Red steps warily into the room, picking up an empty wine bottle. Testing its heft, he flicks it with his free hand to listen to the sound.

He continues to make dull bell sounds with the bottle at random intervals as he speaks. "Well, if they left, they didn't come back toward Neathholm. If there wasn't another way out, they would have stayed right here. So, they either left and there is a way out, or they're using illusions or hiding carefully."

He tosses the bottle behind him, with perhaps more force than necessary.

As I've run this AP, I'll defer to the others for determining how we move through the place and in which direction.

Male Human (Sarkorin Kellid) Summoner 3, AC 14/10/14, Hp 21/21, Init +0, Frt+1,Rfx+0,Wil+4

"North or east?"

Male Half-Orc Rogue 2: (HP 21/21, AC 16 FF15 T11, F+2 R+4 W+0, Init+1, Per+5, Evasion)

"Let's take our time to find out..."

Red Stick takes a good long time examining the three doors out of the room, checking for traps, or eyeholes, or any evidence that they are watched or about to be ambushed.

Taking 20 on Perception, get a 25.

Sovereign Court

Chronicle Sheets GM Busy At Work........

Red finds that the other rooms are the same. Items thrown about hazardly and signs of items being moved in haste. He does find no less than 7 different traps and is able to pinpoint all of them seeing as they are all crudely made.

Male Half-Orc Rogue 2: (HP 21/21, AC 16 FF15 T11, F+2 R+4 W+0, Init+1, Per+5, Evasion)

Red Stick shakes his head. "They really did a number on this place. Come on, let's figure out how to get out of here to the surface."

Pointing to the southern door where they had been ambushed the first time, he adds, "That way led downward. I don't think that's the way."

Checking the two rooms north of the sleeping chamber, he comments, "That one is a closet. So, it's got to be this way."

He opens the northernmost door and leads the party into the next room.

Sovereign Court

Chronicle Sheets GM Busy At Work........

Everyone moving together or seperately?

Male Half-Orc Rogue 2: (HP 21/21, AC 16 FF15 T11, F+2 R+4 W+0, Init+1, Per+5, Evasion)

How much of the map is covered when you say "other rooms"?

"If they have cleared out, I'd prefer we see if they left anything of use behind, Red Stick. Who knows how far we are from the surface still and we may yet need supplies." The tiefling shrugs with a shake of his head, "But if everyone would rather press on as quickly as we may, I won't argue."

Male Half-Orc Rogue 2: (HP 21/21, AC 16 FF15 T11, F+2 R+4 W+0, Init+1, Per+5, Evasion)

Red Stick indicates the chamber. "Where would you like to start looking?"

retired

"Well if you think that way is out," he nods to the north, "maybe we should head the other way? Down perhaps?" He shrugs, not really having a good idea for how to best procede, and looks to the rest of the group.

Would we be goin' down ta explore, or to find more of them mongrelfolk what need killin' fer their blasphemy?

Sovereign Court

Chronicle Sheets GM Busy At Work........

Down has not being explored. I could cover each individual area each.

Male Human (Sarkorin Kellid) Summoner 3, AC 14/10/14, Hp 21/21, Init +0, Frt+1,Rfx+0,Wil+4

"While I am longing to reach the surface, I think the fact that these mongrelmen have been being supplied from outside makes them a threat to the city. I vote for exploring further -down, in this case, before moving on. Though, if the majority wish to move on, Iwon't complain."

Male Half-Orc Rogue 2: (HP 21/21, AC 16 FF15 T11, F+2 R+4 W+0, Init+1, Per+5, Evasion)

Red Stick shrugs. "Down it is!"

He heads back into the southern room.

Chronicle Sheets GM Busy At Work........

Oynar smells blood and hears the faint sounds of battle though it seems muffled.

H6
The air in this cavern smells of damp and mold. Water glistens on the walls, and collects in a stagnant pool along one wall. Sounds of combat can be heard more clearly now. The shrieks of battle made by eagar mongrel men.

H7
Three copper bowls filled with glowing coals hang from the ceiling of this long, natural cavern. The braziers fill the chamber with warmth and soft orange light. In the center of the chamber stands a block of stone that serves as a table, lined with wooden chairs. An enormous bloodstain, maybe a week old, darkens the stone’s surface. Piled in a heap are the latest sacrifices, refugees or surviors from the recent catastrophe in Kenabreas.

The doors are wide open and it's obvious to see that there are two bound figures attempting to make a fight out of it with their tormentors jeering and striking them with whips. They're dressed in Chain shirts with their glaives on their back. All seemed to be rather experienced warriors.

Figures placed on estimation. They have not seen you yet due to the obstruction in H6.

"There is blood in the air." the eidolon's tripartate voices whisper. pointing with its head towards the door.

Male Human (Sarkorin Kellid) Summoner 3, AC 14/10/14, Hp 21/21, Init +0, Frt+1,Rfx+0,Wil+4

"Sarthonn, when we get through the door, I can Enlarge you. "

Male Half-Orc Rogue 2: (HP 21/21, AC 16 FF15 T11, F+2 R+4 W+0, Init+1, Per+5, Evasion)

Red Stick draws his falchion and creeps up toward the door.

Naravash readies his bow but then rather than snapping off a quick shot, instead draws a bulging pouch from his hip. "This might slow them down and give you a few free shots." He offers the bag of caltrops to Red Stick as he passes by.

Anticipating battle, Oynar's three voices produces a strange harmony of a low, canine growl, a menacing feline rumbling purr, and a strange, breathy hiss.

Flavor for the bump...

Bursting in on them, you realise that you're outnumbered and heavily so.

Your appearance catches them by surprise and their stunned faces gives you all a single chance.
Surprise Round. For this instance you're all allowed a full round of actions. Tough Fight.

Inside the room, Melchesiech invokes a defensive ward and retreats behind e-Terah.

Actually, now that I look at the tactical situation, I'd like to change that action (if it's OK with you, nightdeath). Instead, he'd like to cast grease on the four squares around the H7 before retreating behind e-Terah.

Male Human (Sarkorin Kellid) Summoner 3, AC 14/10/14, Hp 21/21, Init +0, Frt+1,Rfx+0,Wil+4

Caelus shouts "Go!" to his Eidolon before stepping forward and beginning a spell.

Five foot step, cast Enlarge Person on Sarthonn to take effect next round.
