"And now she won't shut up." Dawn casts Monkey Fish on herself and swims 10 feet forward, drawing her glaive along the way.
It was nice to see some fey, even if they were ugly tooth fairies.

The sick cherub flies up to the toothy woman. The other begins to burble and incant to itself while playing with its toes.

"Ah Monkey Flanker, I forgot about the alligator!" Razka exclaims.
"Well, that escalated quickly," he mutters as Elianna blasts the fairies and Dawn closes the distance.
Will Save: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12
"That's lovely. Just lovely," he says, quietly, sloshing through the water towards the toothy lady.
Vina Sitha
|
Vina Will Save vs. DC 17: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20
Vina instructs Lakadee to stand fast Full-defense and proceeds to begin an incantation. spontaneously casts Summon's Nature's Ally I
Edwin Towerfall
|
Will save: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21
Edwin moves little bit closer (5ft - one move action), takes out his shortbow and shoots at right Tooth fairy.

damage: 1d6 ⇒ 6
| The World's Most Interesting GM |
Quick note: the stream of water pouring from the grill in the ceiling of the room, provides soft cover (the water is hard to see through), and obviously makes stuff wetter for those passing underneath. Crossing my fingers for you Bob. ;)
Bob McCalister
|
Will: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15
Cocking his head at the sound, Bob mumbles "Sucha jaunty tune...soooo pretty..." and begins to slosh his way into the room.
Well, this could get unpleasant for me. :-P The deep water has slowed my demise at least.

Remember everyone, deep bog conditions reign throughout the area. Since everyone is just chatting until Elianna sloshes forward and lowers the boom, it's fine just now that she can do so.
I totally missed that we were still in deep bog, sorry! I thought that was only in the green area on the map which was behind us when I posted. To be honest all the different aliases for every different npc plus all of us and companions is making it *really* hard for me to keep track of what's going on so I thought initiative meant that we knew they were being hostile.
Will save: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 3 + 2 = 19
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27
"That one over there (pink) is casting sleep!" she'll call out.
GM, can someone be shaken out of the effects of the song thing? If yes Elianna would move to Razka and shake him out of it. If not she'll draw her crossbow and spend a point from her arcane pool to make it +1 then try to shoot the one casting sleep.

Elianna glances back at Bob and Razka and sighs a little bit before drawing her crossbow, using her arcane pool to enhance it, and firing at the pink fairy to try and stop its spell from hitting her friends!

Dawn continues to swim 10 feet ahead, stopping directly underneath the pinkish tooth fairy.
She lunges with her glaive. "Time for your root canal!" She giggles.
Spending an Eldritch Pool point to enter a state of Mystic Focus for 2 rounds. It won't do anything unless I crit.
Glaive: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9
Damage: 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13
Well, that didn't help.

GAK! EDIT Always check your private messages first!
[s]"OooooOKU! Heee" shrieks the near-toothless fairy (Pink Posie) excitedly fanning her knees excitedly with its pliers. The noise completes the spell inspite of Elianna's unsportswoman-like attempt to interfere.
It's so excited it rushes down seemingly to give Dawn a peck. Then it brings the pliers forward....
acrobatics (avoid 'moving' AoO): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25 Avoids attack for moving.
Posie - greater steal v Dawn (tricky thief--tooth): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16
Regardless of the above Pink triggers an AoO from Dawn for entering her square if Dawn is able to capitalize on it (i.e. must Threaten).
If the tooth fairy gets through it extracts one of Dawn's teeth causing 1 point of immediate Charisma damage, and one bleed (the bleed hits at the beginning of Dawns next turn).
The other fairy (Red Rosie) merely fawns at her mother's singing, as entranced as anyone.

Dawn misses and then watches the tooth fairy fly past her glaive. At this moment, Dawn wishes she stuck to a close range weapon.
Glaive has reach, so it doesn't threaten at 5ft.
"Keep those pliers away from me, you little-" the creature's tiny feet dig into Dawn's tongue, causing her to yelp for just long enough to pry out one of her front teeth. "I've heard of biting the hand that feeds you, but this is ridiculous."
| The World's Most Interesting GM |
Okay stepping back a few. I could have sworn that Elianna had shot at the small toothy woman and not the diminutive cherub. Oh well,it's probably a First World thing.
Posie concentration check (DC 15): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18
Okay Lady Gormandelle keeps her perfect cheek. Pink tooth fairy takes damage, but maintains concentration. The sleep spell still happens, and stuff goes forward. Carry on.
| The World's Most Interesting GM |
The horrible flying baby, not having any pockets, jams the extracted tooth into its mouth for safe keeping.

Vina finishes her summoning spell, and a dolphin appears in the water! Vina casts guidance on it and points to the woman with strange teeth and asks the nice dolphin to pull her down in the water!
dolphin acrobatics to jump 6 feet up as part of its movement vs. DC 24, 80 ft. swim speed = +20 to jump: 1d20 + 1 + 20 ⇒ (6) + 1 + 20 = 27
Spinning 360 degrees into the air the dolphin tries to body slam the small woman with strange teeth off her perch!
dolphin bull rush, charge, guidance: 1d20 + 2 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 2 + 2 + 1 = 12 vs. target's CMD.
oi... likely not... that would have been cool tho! :P
Lakadee takes a double move into the room: 3 squares x 4 movement cost per square = 12 squares
| Lady Gormandelle |
The dolphin (possibly distracted by dolphin mounted on the wall beneath the iron bull's head) misses as the toothy little woman hops up and out of the way.
bite v dolphin (AoO): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9 damage: 1d4 ⇒ 2
She snaps with her mismatched teeth at the dolphin as it passes, but misses.
Edwin misses as well, but doggedly fights through the magic cast at him.
Vina Sitha
|
Dolphin mounted on the wall-- LOL!!! btw, on a scale of close to a mile off, how close did dolphiny get to match her CMD and tail slap her into the brine? :P did onlookers get that 'so close!' feeling or just stared in puzzlement at seeing a dolphin front flip out of the water? LOL

Just beware the mounted spearfish.
Vina Sitha
|
As far as I understood she was 10 feet above ground sitting on the bull's head trophy, which is 6 feet above the 4-foot high waterline yes? or did I completely miss the boat on that? dolphiny has a second round to live... and I wonder what he will try to achieve in his short lifespan... :P
| The World's Most Interesting GM |
In the 3D world of 5-foot-squares that means that the dolphin is in the bottom-most tier of 5-foot-cubes that represent the height of the 15-foot-tall room, and that the Lady is in the top-most tier. Attacks from beneath (or near-directly beneath) have cover to deal with from the trophy the woman is perched on, and all the other things sticking out from the wall.
Vina Sitha
|
Ok cool- thanks for helping me visualize. After that dolphin - who probably can't damage anyone due to DR/cold iron all over the map, hence the fancy bull rush attempt - I'm pretty much tapped out so I'll be sprinkling wand of cure light wound joy around the battlefield next. Hopefully we got ranged people with cold iron goodness - although I'm not holding my breath at level 1-2! :D LOL
Bob McCalister
|
Will DC 13: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19
Still mumbling about the lassies pretty song, Bob sloshes forward. Standing directly beneath the drain, he musket becomes douses in water.
NOOOOOOOO! 1 ruined shot/powder
Double move...but still awake...
Razka Croyle
|
Will save: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13
"Gee, Mister, this candy is making me sleepy," Razka non sequiturs.
He barely manages to stay awake, his eyelids very heavy. But the music is just too lovely to sleep through and he sloshes closer to the divine creature making the divine sounds.
| Lady Gormandelle |
Razka's lips part in a sleepy grin. The combined chemical and magical lights sparkle off of them so hard and with such charisma that they chime.
There's another sound from across the room, like sunrise over Springfield, or in this case the small lady with the large collection of teeth when Razka's pearly whites come into view. She grasps a small high-powered crossbow (on her turn from her seaweed belt), hops up and down, shrieking and pointing. She sings louder.
Those in the party who know the Sylvan tongue can translate it. In the Common tongue it would go a bit like this:
Love, exciting and new
Come aboard, were expecting you
Love, life's sweetest reward
Let it flow, it floats back to you!
THE LOVE-!
The fat, little, gurgling tooth-thief that stole one of Dawn's canines visibly drools around the pilfered tooth that sticks out of its lower gum like an white ivory stalagmite in a wet pink cave. It repeatedly snaps its rusty pliers in anticipation.

Elianna doesn't have a lot of good options right now, so she reloads her crossbow and tries to fire at the pink one again.

Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

Elianna's bolt transfixes the little fairy who goes *plop* into the water.
The horrible little woman screams.
She stops singing and turns to the remaining fairy.
"AH, Rosie! Vamme lóre tye ulundo selde! Tye mime valief, Rosie! Sanda -yes ar linne- hosta- i carcane!"
Previously captivated characters remain captivated for 1 more round.
Scowling Lady Gormandelle fires her crossbow down at the exposed Elianna hitting her in the shoulder.

"Gimme my tooth back, you little-" Dawn watches Pinkie the tooth fairy plop into the water with crossbow bolt sticking out.
Dawn reaches in (that water hitting her exposed gums is COLD) and yanks the tooth out, stuffing it into her pocket.
She then swims over to the other side of the hallway.

Round 2 of 2 for dolphiny!
dolphin slam vs. Swwst: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8 for 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4 bludgeoning dmg.
The dolphin disappears in a puff of white mist. Vina utters a quick prayer to The Green and touches Bob with her prehensile tail. A faint smell of sweet honey and coconut comes to the gunslinger's noise. She then takes cover in Lakadee's canopy.
Ride check for 'cover' DC 15: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14 Fail
Vina cast guidance on Bob. Lakadee: total defense.
Elianna Morgethai
|
Elianna grimaces as she's shot, but knows she has to keep doing something sort of useful if she's going to save her captivated teammates. She reloads and fires again, this time at the webbed-woman, muttering a prayer to Arshea that her aim will keep steady.
Crossbow: 1d20 + 5 + 1 - 4 ⇒ (18) + 5 + 1 - 4 = 20
Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
magic & piercing but I'm guessing neither will matter with that damage roll
Edwin Towerfall
|
Edwin again moves little bit closer (5ft - one move action),and shoots at small lady.
to hit: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
damage: 1d6 ⇒ 6
| The World's Most Interesting GM |
Bobbot and Razkabot trudge forward through the water stop and blink. What were they doing again?
Vina's summoned dolphin swims backward with the front half of its body sticking up perpendicular to the plane of the water, waving with its flippers. It clicks and gurgles in a parody of speech. It executes a backflip, and then a forward flip over Dawn who is still trailing blood from her impromptu oral surgery. Then it leaps from the water toward the small woman on the iron bull's head trophy winking out of existence inches away from contact.
Elianna's doesn't penetrate her toothy attacker's scaly hide.
Edwin pegs a bolt right between the eyes of a mounted moose head.
The woman reloads and returns a bolt of her own at Elianna. It misses and goes *plunk* in the water beside the elf.

Dawn's attempt misses, but shakes the rosy fairy from her stupor. The tiny, pudgy, winged baby zips around Dawn, and Bob, and immediately dives--pliers first--for the mouth of Razka who is still smiling at the memory of the beautiful music. The fairy grins a toothless grin and dribbles a bit.
