World's Most Interesting Out of Anarchy (001) [PFS Standard 6-22] (Inactive)

Game Master Great Green God

Game Day VII session 2 begins Saturday, October 6th. The pre-game show starts now.:
Several years ago, rebellion in the seaside town of Pezzack resulted in a Chelish blockade to slowly starve the rioters into submission. Since then few have entered or left, trapping the increasingly desperate citizens with little with which to repair their broken homes and eke out a living. When the Society learns that an important informant still lives in the ruined town, the PCs must smuggle themselves into Pezzack, navigate the devastated urban landscape, and extract their contact—all without igniting a new rebellion and inviting Cheliax’s unfettered wrath.

Content in “Out of Anarchy” contributes to the ongoing story-line of the Dark Archive and Liberty’s Edge factions.

He doesn't believe in 'game balance'. Gandalf always lets him pass. As a feat, he has Exotic Weapon Proficiency (beard). The city guard often question him, just because they find him so interesting. His dice bag is woven from tarrasque leather. His TPKs end game lines. His blood cures moderate wounds. He once punched a flumph. Yes, you heard me. He belongs to a prestige class whose sole requirement for entry is just being him. ♬ He is indeed, the most interesting GM in the world. ♬

You can give gear to the pot to give to Cessia (or any of the other merchants in town). After five years of being mostly cut off from the rest of the world people in Pezzack deal in trade goods not coin. One of the major themes of this adventure is making difficult choices, which can be character defining. Boots or bread?

Heads up! The latest thing wrong with the website is that it doesn't put that little red dot up at the top of the screen warning you that you have a private message.

I say this for no particular reason. ;)

You realize it's been an Inferno in more ways than one for a lot longer than "just now", right?

I was there for last year's eclipse, and seeing the true face of Pluto was awesome, but other than that? Token progress in a few veins doesn't make up for massive net degradation (much of it gratuitously self-inflicted by idiot panic), and you can bloody well KEEP your damned 21st Century!

I dunno, the 21st century's got a few advantages over the 20th. My sister in law got to marry the woman she loved. My white self and my black wife have been able to get married and have a kid without being arrested. People who contract AIDS can survive for decades. We got a President who didn't look like he came from the exact same slot of The President Vending machine. The Supreme Court Justice who conducted sexual misconduct actually came close to not being confirmed unlike the last Supreme Court Justice who conducted sexual misconduct. 90% of my bosses have been women. To be clear...from a metagame perspective, I can think of several reasons why we shouldn't be splitting the party (the most obvious being that it's a bad idea to split the party) but Reggie is of the "leave no stone unthrown" mentality. He finds this place particularly offensive and would love to see at least a full scale riot going on.

I did acknowledge "token progress in a few veins" - it just won't amount to much if the hard-earned victories of last century get maliciously erased and the whole world is reduced to oodly-doodly totalitarian stew.

Where I'm from, at least, that (and a couple of the other things) is nothing new. :)

All bearing in mind, of course, that (and I consider this one of the scariest things I have ever learned) 'history' and 'time' turn out not to be the same.

I understand the books are pretty nice. One gives your PC a +5 bonus against lactose intolerance.

Sorry I didn't get back to you on this. Concentration checks are not technically skill checks (any more... see the 3.5 edition of the World's Most Popular RPG). So not usually, I'm willing to make an exception here though since technically Poppo is 'driving' the whale as well.

Yes. Well.

We need to surround her so she starts provoking AoOs.
Or we need to separate and pelt her with ranged attacks so she can't focus fire.

Unfortunately, this is a cramped room, so we should melee her.

Good news, Candledark: I do have Saving Finale . If I stop inspiring, I can give you a reroll.

Bad news, Candledark: I'd have to stop Inspiring Rage, which would remove our Con bonus. Which would leave me staggered. Also Aiden and Rowdy would be in the negatives.
