About Aquavius

Role: Aquavius likes to brag. She will intimidate her foes and give the party quick reflexes.

Background:

Aquavius spent her early days as a pirate, raised from youth to raid, pillage and drink to her heart's content. She learned the ways of the blade, using her charm and agility to get through scrapes. She also learned about the joys of tridents and marching drills.

At one point, the navy finally caught up to her ship, killed her captain and sank the boat. Aquavius was pinned underneath debris and as far as she's concerned should have drowned. The next few months were a bit hazy, but as far as she can tell she was rescued by a water spirit. Said spirit also convinced her the easiest way to achieve happiness was through goodwill.

Aquavius didn't really get it, but her time in prison did change her personality. Maybe it was the goodwill, maybe it was compulsion, she's not sure. But doing good felt good. The Pathfinder Society promised to help her clean up her record if she worked for them for a while...

Personality:
Aquavius talks tough and will curse a mean streak if not restrained. She can be convinced to act nice, if you try hard enough.

    Free Spirit You gain a +1 trait bonus on saving throws against language-dependent and effects with the sonic descriptor. In addition, the DC to Intimidate you increases by 2.

    Undine Swim Speed Undines have a swim speed of 30 feet, can move in water without making Swim checks, and always treat Swim as a class skill. A creature with a swim speed can move through water at its indicated speed without making Swim checks. It gains a +8 racial bonus on any Swim check to perform a special action or avoid a hazard. The creature can always choose to take 10 on a Swim check, even if distracted or endangered when swimming. Such a creature can use the run action while swimming, provided that it swims in a straight line.

  • Versatile Performance - At 2nd level, a skald can choose one type of Perform skill associated with the skald class. He can use his bonus in that skill in place of his bonus in the associated skills listed below. When substituting in this way, the skald uses his total Perform skill bonus, including class skill bonus, in place of the associated skill’s bonus, whether or not he has ranks in that skill or if it is a class skill. At 7th level, and every 5 levels thereafter, the bard can select an additional type of Perform to substitute.

    Lingering Song If Aquavius finishes her song, the effects linger on for 2 more rounds.

By expending 1 round of raging song, the skald invigorates allies within 60 feet, who may hustle for the next hour; this movement counts as a walk (not a hustle) for the purpose of accruing nonlethal damage and fatigue. The skald must continue to perform the song for the remainder of the hour, otherwise its effects end, but only 1 round of raging song is expended for that hour.
