Iko pushes open the double metal doors. Inside, the black lunar glass and porphyry interior walls of the structure are draped in erotic tapestries and paintings. Black lunar stone statues of well endowed humanoids engaging in sex acts abound, and the heady scent of highest quality frankincense fills the air. Sumptuous pillows and veiled mattresses are scattered about the shrine, painting the perfect picture of an exotic pleasure den. Carvings of Shelynite iconography appear everywhere in the room. A successful DC 20 Knowledge (religion) check identifies them as subtle heresies, twisted just enough to defile the goddess's name while still appearing legitimate.
A half dozen good looking people are scattered around the room lounging in thin diaphanous robes that don't really cover anything. There are two human men, two human women, an elven woman and a half-orc man. They appear to be relaxed and happy. The two human men were in the midst of pleasuring the elven woman, while the two human women are involved with the half orc. They pause their activities, looking up. They collectively smile at the newcomers, waving and giggling.
Three more similarly appointed chambers are visible through open doorways from this room.

Lady Gabrielle |

Knowledge(religion): 1d20 + 10 - 4 ⇒ (1) + 10 - 4 = 7 -Sweet, Lady Gabrielle's deity is all over the place!
Seeing no immediate threats, the Lady enters the room as if she were an expected visitor, her heels making gentle sounds from underneath her long dress with each curious step she takes.
"I must admit, I have never witnessed this particular interpretation of the Melodies of Inner Beauty," she says to the group, as she gives one of the statues a gentle tap with her closed fan. Just afterwards, she gives her glasses a quick adjustment and opens her fan in order to keep the scent from overwhelming her.

Cael Windstrom |

Cael's magic sensing eyes scan the room. He picks up the subtle corruption, as if a scholar of his years and experience could be fooled. He didn't trust paradise in the abyss or any other infernally tied realm. These people were puppets or minions, truth be told it was rarely a difference but one's will did need consideration.
"This place is a mockery of Shelyn, everything is slightly twisted to defile her name. I doubt these people are normal as well."
Knowledge (Religion) DC 20: 1d20 + 28 ⇒ (10) + 28 = 38

Lady Gabrielle |

"Your hospitality is greatly appreciated," the Lady responds with a warm smile. "Might we receive a tour of the Shrine first?" she asks, gently waving her fan as she speaks.

Iko Ilue |

Iko grimaces, muttering to his fellow mosquitos "It goes without saying, these demons are all about deception. The question is, are these illusions like the ones that obscured the moonbeasts outside? demons? corrupted or deluded humans?"
Iko watches suspiciously, casting detect magic, and looking about for inconsistencies or indications of illusion.
Take 10 on K. Religion for 21. Cast Detect Magic. Attempt to disbelieve the people in the shrine.

Lady Gabrielle |

I was thinking we were dropping the mosquito thing, so we can interact with the residents and not freak them out by being talking mosquitoes and stuff.

Lady Gabrielle |

"We know that our mutual friend is not the first guest of the Shrine. It appears that some guests enjoy this place well enough to stay awhile. Who could refuse such hospitality," she says as she takes curious steps across the room, stopping only to turn towards Iko and delicately gesture towards the elven woman in the midst of some enjoyable activity.
"Now, I wonder which room this is..." she says as she resumes her steps toward a room with a pool of water inside.

Apex the Gallant |

I say we drop them as well. I doubt the disguises would hold up as well here.
"One second, good Lady," Apex says as he briefly but carefully studies these strange people. The masked troll mentally goans as the chaotic, evil energies of the moon throw off his sense of judgement. He figures that he could tell if they were obviously dominated (ala Dominate Person), but that would be the extent of it.
Sense Motive for Enchantment (Heroism, Evil Moon): 1d20 + 17 + 2 - 4 ⇒ (3) + 17 + 2 - 4 = 18
The DC for detecting Enchantment is 15 for Dominated and 25 for anything else, so are these guys dominated in some way?

A large steaming marble pool lies in the center of this room, surrounded by graceful marble pillars. The pool is very warm and heavily perfumed. Several bottles of perfume stand on a shelf along the north wall, below
which sit several clothes chests with keys. There are two men and a gnome woman in the water, all naked. The men are kissing while the gnome watches from across the pool. When they see Lady Gabrielle, they smile and wave at her. "Care for a dip?" the gnome asks.

Lady Gabrielle |

"That does sound rather relaxing," the Lady answers, the tilt of her head placing her gaze away from the two men. She curiously looks at the perfume bottles, picking several of the more intricate ones up to examine them closely.
So, Lady Gabrielle is wondering whether any of these perfume bottles may have belonged to any of the missing people we know about? People like Druman Kalistocrat Obenna Sirara or Enlina Charthagnion of Cheliax? Maybe she can figure out where some of the perfumes came from based on their scents or bottle design, and maybe be able to guess at the owner that way?
Also, how many clothes chests seem to have clothes in them? Does it seem like there are three peoples' worth of clothes in the chests, or fewer, or maybe more?
She decides to make conversation while sating her curiosity. "How did you find yourself in this faraway place, if I may ask?" she asks the gnome.
