Hm... if we are voting (know it's not a democracy, but figure I would weigh in on the topic) I would vote for possibly replacing him after we get out of here. Perhaps with a bard or some other such that can do some of the diplomatic stuff.

Wife is beginning to go into labor (not quite to the "take her to the hospital" phase yet, but it seems to be looming) so my posts might be a bit delayed over the next bit. If you need to automate my character have him attempt to disarm where needed/possible, and flank when possible... seems to have been a winning strategy so far.
I will have my phone and will try to check in every so often, even once we are in the hospital.

Bron Frostbreath |
Apart from the weapons/armour I kept for using, no.
Sedelion Deighstalach |
Did you take anything special from the armory? I know that you set the giant axe from the gailor down in there, did you replace it with something? If not what you have should be covered under the 4 sets of standard guards equipment... I didn't feel like breaking that one out given we already did so earlier.
Bron Frostbreath |
Nothing special then, no. I just realised I haven't deleted the axe, but nothing that can't be fixed in 1 minute.
The Black Shadow |
As you've gained enough experience to level up and you've had some time to rest up and recover, all of you can Level Up to level 2. As for Hitpoints, you roll as usual but always take at least 1/2 your hit dice. So if you have a HD of d8 and roll an 8, that's good. Otherwise if you roll a 1, you get a 4.
Libris Mortis |
HP: 1d12 ⇒ 4 so 6 it seems.
Rolling!
And yay for level
Suggestions for rage power? I was thinking i take the power that allows me to follow someone who does the withdraw action...
Otherwise. World serpent totem

HP: 1d10 ⇒ 9
Also, will we have access to purchase some equipment, now or in the future?
Sedelion Deighstalach |
Sweet. Do you have any objections to my taking the outfit I described from the clothing we ... aquired... from the late warden? I would say that it probably matches a courtier's clothes for value, sans jewelry needed for "proper impressions".
HP?: 1d10 ⇒ 10
Libris Mortis |
All up to date. Going two-weapon style, as previously indicated (and taking Improved Two-Weapon fighting for my first bonus feat). Start with the basics, right?
heh, yup, im thinking of trying to get Stalwart etc, which by the time i hit lvl 12ish, will give me +10 to my DR. since my only real combat feat i need i already have
Maxim Ashvayne |
HP, 2nd level: 1d6 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 2 + 1 = 7
That looks good to me.
Now, in order for me to both memorize and learn spells, I do need to find my familiar, or bond with a new one (which being 2nd level costs 1000gp)...
Libris Mortis |
If working on a 1000gp base, and changing the weapons/armor i have:
1153gp
Masterworked Lamellar Steel Armor - 300gp
Masterworked Switchscyth - 318gp
Masterworked Composite Longbow - 400gp
Pathfinder's Kit - 12gp (no rations, no waterskin)
Tent, Large - 30gp
Flask, hip - 1gp
Silk Rope - 10gp
Total GP left : - 39gp 1cp
Bron Frostbreath |
I'd like to get rid of my Chain Shirt, and acquire:
·A Masterwork Breastplate (350 gp)
·A Masterwork Greatsword (350 gp)
·A pair of potions of CLW (100 gp)
That's 800 gp minus what I'd get (if any) for the Chain Shirt. This rest I will use to get some mundane equipment, the sorts of a backpack, etc., and I'll post it later since I'm now just on a work break.

Perhaps hold off on the tent and silk rope... any one of us could get those and thus not send you into negative GP. Also don't forget we still have a boatload of things to sell if we find the right buyer, including that diamond dust you took.

Oh. My bad. Was suppose to be just a :
Still have 39gp left :P
And i did my math wrong....
Should be 85gp left

Maxim Ashvayne |
Libris, masterwork composite longbow will give you a +1 to attack, but nothing else. for the same 400 gp, you could get a mighty (+3) composite longbow. No +1 to attack, but would allow for +3 from your strength to apply to damage.
Libris Mortis |
Reason for master work. Want to eventually pay the 3k to have it a +1 adaptable. And it needs to be MW for that to happen

So he will be armed to the nines with plenty of cold iron options (perfect for any demons, summoned or otherwise, we run into... also any fey, though that is less likely I suppose) depending on what we face.
While ranged isn't my strong suit (at least by feats to improve it) I figure I will probably still be best at it, so having a variety of arrows isn't a bad idea.
Finally, that armor would effectively be as good as he will need for a long while (and because of material is automatically a MW item).

I'll keep the bow and arrows - I don't think they are branded. The rest (longsword, shield, chainshirt) I'll just give it away or sell it (if anyone wants them). That should be enough.

Pretty sure that our GM might have forgotten about us. I know he has been posting in other threads (even as recently as yesterday) but we haven't seen anything here in almost 2 weeks. Not going to drop out, but beginning to abandon hope on this pressing forward (unless you have heard otherwise Libris).
Libris Mortis |
No. Maybe if the others also send PMs. Mine has not been answered.

The Black Shadow |
Hello folks. Sorry for the slow response but I've had a hell of a busy week at work as well as dealing with a wide variety of things in real life and game running. Unfortunately I'm far too swamped to handle two play by posts at once. I've picked up yet another RL pathfinder campaign and I'm running three other games and playing three games as well. Handling one play by post is hard enough, but handling two at once is a hell of a chore as I've discovered. I need to cut down on my workload so unfortunately this game needs to get the axe. Thanks for playing the game and hopefully my idea as a Reverse Way of the Wicked can inspire others to give it a shot. Good luck and good gaming to all of you.
Sedelion Deighstalach |
Sorry to hear that. Playing Sedelion in this setting was rather fun and I will miss it, and playing with y'all. This game got my creative process flowing again for Pathfinder after some RL stuff had effectively shut it off, so thank you for running it while you could and thank you for inviting me. Good luck!

Good luck GM!
