Radoslav misses his swing. Manx's magic strikes the little thing as she then flies 5ft back and throws a tiny dagger at Elransil, though she misses and the dagger returns back to her hand. Then, erupting from the water where the little quasit had spilled her own blood, a new sinspawn pops out of the water and swings at Erodel, but misses.

"Are my arrows going to summon more of those things!?" the ranger calls out of the more studied members of the group.

However, Erodel and Radoslav both seem to connect with it as it flies away from them, now hovering 10 feet above their heads, it spits a wad of phlegm at Elransil, hitting him squarely. make dc 12 fort save or be nauseated for 3 rounds The sinspawn steps out of the pool and attacks Erodel, but misses.

Elransil's first attack doesn't do as much damage as he had hoped and Manx misses his attack. Pik continues to stare at the creature as it becomes enraged by your all's continued presence here. It begins casting a spell and a giant centipede appears beside Elransil and turns and bites him. dc fort save 13 against poison

The ranger moves forward, trying to get within 30 feet of the creature and make sure that Manx is not partially blocking his shot. Then he carefully aims and lets another arrow fly!

Then he shouts: "Someone grab that bow from before and help me. There are plenty more arrows in my quiver."

Pik continues to stare at the quasit as all attacks seem to miss it while it casts a spell and then disappears from sight. A giant centipede pops into existence beside Elransil, but it's bite doesn't seem to do any damage to him and Elransil is able to shrug off any effects of poison. Erodel then moves up to attack the centipede and slays it in one blow.

Ok, so here is a question. Since none of us have interacted with said 'illusion', does the party need to make saves? Because Erodel swears he just closed those doors...


I would say yes, you do. For all you know the quasit may have opened the door on its own and you have no idea what it was that Manx just cast. Those of you with Spellcraft may roll it to see what it was that Manx just cast.

Seeing Manx walk to the entrance and the doors instantly appear open, Erodel runs over and tries to hold them shut! "We can't let it get out!" he exclaims.

Will sheathe sword/unready shield if need be! For 'hands free' requirements. Also, hope I'm not breaking the time/space/PbP contium by having Erodel's actions be in reaction to an action that technically hasn't 'happened' yet. If I am.. then Erodel will try and look around for the creature.

This game is not useful. It can bump into walls and open doors all it wants without becoming visible.

He says, going to pull the sinspawn out of the pool and tries to clear any other biological matter from the immediate area.

Manx casts his illusion and Erodel attempts to shut the doors again, but his hand passes through the handle as soon as he tries to grab it.

The quasit does not make her presence known this round.

I'll try not to touch the pool itself. My biggest concern is stuff going into or being in the pool and will pull stuff out as best I can without contributing to the problem by putting parts of myself in it =P

Round 8

Radoslav can feel the burning cold coming from the pool's water as his hand nears it in an attempt to haul out a bit of sinspawn.

A dire rat pops into existence beside Elransil and attempt to bite his leg, but misses.

The quasit appears again up in the air and casts a spell. Everyone make a DC 14 Will save or take a -1 penalty on attack rolls and a -1 penalty on saving throws against fear effects.

Elransil's attack goes off and his arrow strikes her as he ignores the rat's feeble attempt to bite him.

"You blathering dolt, I serve none but Lamashtu herself and I will not run from her sanctum!"
