Well, feel free to start posting to Gameplay! I'll let you know about the profile and equipment tonight or tomorrow. I got inspired about your "cure" and had to get it down.

I love that Inam always tries to talk first. Darkspawn with elen faces, monster statues, doesn't matter.

I'm definitely letting the excellent dialogue continue for tonight. I'll update tomorrow.

I was going to ask that actually. I am assuming a "everyone posts once-ish before moving on" kind of set up generally, but this is probably a good time to sneak in some extra conversation. I'm also good with working things in as we do other stuff too (within reason of course).

And I totally lied about not posting, since Inam had a question :)

Typically I post once a day, regardless of whether everyone has posted (exceptions for things like combat, or "Ibinu has to decide whether to cut the blue or the red wire before we move on" kind of things)

But yeah, this is a unique 'what the heck is going on' situation from pretty much all three characters' POV, so I'm more than happy to slow down the scene for a day or two.

Two 'favorites' for that last post Inam: 1 favorite for comparing elens released to Sky being dumped into sewers, and 1 favorite for trying to trick poor Ibinu into thinking you have kids. I had to contain my laughter 'lest I wake my kids.

Oh, and I'm not sure exactly about my starting distance to the enemy but my attack likely provoked. Also, if there isn't space to 5-ft back then I just don't go anywhere.

Sorry for my delay, had a hell of a shift yesterday and was training a nitwit to boot.

By the time I arrived home, was just fried and the thinky thing in the shoulder circle didn't work much anymore.

State of the Game, 8/11/2017

Happy one-year anniversary! As with the 6 month milestone, I'm going to cover Loose Ends and Player Goals. As a friendly reminder, Loose Ends are not necessarily Super Important, I'm simply posting them because sifting through over 1000 posts can be daunting.

1) Loose Ends:

--Who were the soldiers in that wagon way back when? How did they know about the white obsidian?
--How was that white obsidian discovered by the Temple? Why were they attacked and forced to commandeer Gregori's wagon?
--Why is So Khong so interested in Inam, the chicken, and her sword?
--Who were the original "immune" elens blessed by white obsidian? How exactly were they killed? Are there infectors on the Fronts right now?
--What about the pay, training, and information So Khong promised you?
--How did spawn get into the Temple?
--What else can you all do? Ibinu healed, Inam opened the sealed door, etc
--Why was Lui the guard so distressed? Why did he refuse to speak in fron tof So Khong?
--What was the spawn who kept screaming "son"? Was that the spawn itself speaking, or its victims?
--Who was the female voice who mocked you in the darkness? Did she control the spawn?
--Why was Antioco really a prisoner?
--What exactly happened to Ibinu? Who exactly did it? What's in the combination box?
--Who made the statues move and talk? What were they guarding?
--Who are these elen corpses?

2) Player Goals

Here are the basics I've got for each of you:

--Inam: learn more about your destiny, the secrets behind your sword and the chicken (and So Khong's interest in you); perform your duties to the utmost of your ability
--Kallik: work on your temper; find a place to belong and a group of friends; player goal of working out issues like lineage and missing twin brother; protecting Egret
--Ibinu: figure out more about what happened to you; study alchemy more; learn more about what is happening in Hearth and who your companions are
--Bian: work on rift between Volcano and River (as well as rift between her and her family); find out what the heck is going on with all this darkspawn and infector nonsense in the last 24 hours of her life

Let me know if I am missing any Loose Ends or Player Goals!

PS You guys are awesome and I'm looking forward to more fun!

Kallik, in the room of alchemical waste you find a small lever embedded in one of the walls. Looking closer, you see the seams of a door in the stone wall.

In cased you missed it (I did the first time), I believe this is what Ibinu was asking about Kallik. :-)

Just a heads up, in case I forget to mention it next week...I am leaving a week from tomorrow (the 23rd of August) for a training out of state. The 24th and 25th I'll have seminars all day and I'll be heading back on the 26th. So, I may not post much over those days. You are free to bot me if needed.

Have fun with that. Luckily there is still time where we have you here. Also props for the playing a paladin like you are. Inam has quickly become my favorite incarnation of a devoted paladin.

The quest for a cart turned into an very interesting discussion about Volcano and Hearth, and I truly enjoyed seeing this take place in our shared story here. Kallik, Inam, and Ibinu all played off each other wonderfully.

And working now. Weee...at least I have all night to catch up on the Gameday games that exploded during my drive.

Planning on posting tonight. Long Labor Day trip + first day of school ever for my kiddo = a tired DM.

FYI: most gold coins in the land are shaped like "shields" (very similar to the old school roman shields in shape and design, but more like rounded ovals). Since Forge mines the gold and mints the currency, they have historically chosen to venerate the Warrior above all others.

Silver coins are "pots", round coins with cauldrons on one side and the Cauldron Lady's scowling face on the other.

Coppers vary a great deal, and there are some associated with all four races, but the most common type are "cloudies", old worn pieces of copper with various weather patterns crudely stamped on them (lightning, snow, rain, fog, etc)

As an FYI I doubt I will post anything this weekend. I get to test my stage fright at a friends wedding since I am officiating it. I hate talking in-front of people I do not know. After that I am watching children then I am getting really drunk. Cause I am due that. So bot me if need be.

And no issue Inam, I really enjoy the names. Though I feel that one is a little flirty ;) My brain is rarely fully functioning so I get that. Drunk posting is always the best posting. I was in a game with all Goblins, this was my first one. We turned it into a musical and a lot of that was buzzed posting. It was Bonktacular. That was the first one I did. I took the Popular song from Wicked and bastardized it in the languages of Ronk the goblin barbarian who liked to bonk things.

Good luck with all that! Sounds like we all need some time to ourselves this weekend (myself included), so I'm guessing the botting won't be necessary.

I doubt Kallik even noticed her name was used. She might figure it out later. Arrow's to the belly are distracting and is being sarcastic about it :D
