didn't think anyone could make that roll, kudos, Zeriax!
Maelchar follows the line of Zeriax's pointing finger and notes the flying drakes and their riders... He watches them to see if they approach or leave.

What Maelchar said. I would have needed natural 20 and a lot of aid anothers to hit that.
Drake riders = riders of dragons? Or is this a specific type of enemy that the group is familiar with? I don't think Nasira or I recognize the name as it stands.
DM Variel
The creatures are 100ft above you and descending fast. The drake looks like dragons but only smaller and not as ferocious. Yet they have many of the same characteristics and even some new ones that you may not be familiar with. The riders are equipped in chain shirts and lances.

No real map for this as it is mostly going to be in narrative.
The drake riders spot Zeriax pointing at them. The lead drake rider pulls up after getting within 40ft of the group of Nasira, Maelchar and Zeriax. The drake opens its mouth and a ball of smoking acid flies out landing amongst them dealing 5d10 ⇒ (2, 2, 8, 7, 5) = 24 acid damage and slowed for 1d4 ⇒ 4 rounds.
Reflex DC 22 for half damage and no slow affect.
The second drake rider looks to sow as much confusion and terror as possible as it flies down to separate the groom from any help. It too spits its ball of acid smoke but this time at Pakak and Gertrude. 5d10 ⇒ (8, 8, 1, 1, 2) = 20 acid damage and slowed for 1d4 ⇒ 4 rounds.
Pakak is able to shield his new bride from the worst of the acid before it gets to her.

I think I'm correct, but I don't want to be leaving healing on the table, so I'm asking our all-powerful DM. Which is it at your table, oh benevolent one?

Eyes fixed on where the glow disappeared, she shakes her head slowly. "But in truth, I am a warrior. Details off the field of battle escape me." Wistfully and quietly, she adds, "I don't believe my fate includes such joy. I am very hopeful this is everything they expect it to be, to be forever, even if that means our friend is no longer able to join us."
She turns away. "Excuse me, Morgrym, I should mingle and enjoy this rare happy occasion." She seems to be headed away from the crowd, however.
Morgrym strokes his beard in thought as he watches the healer depart. Just as an idea hits him and he's about to chase her down, his attention is diverted toward Zeriax. Looking up at the oncoming threat, he groans. Blast. Another time.
Seeing the drake land between themselves and Pakak, Morgrym glares at the creature and its rider. "You best be leavin'!" he warns, "You and your beastie! OR YOU'LL BE DYIN'!" Morgrym flies into a rage and moves at a fantastic rate of speed toward their newest foe.

Both riders are quite adept at maneuvering their mounts out of danger as both Maelchar and Zeriax miss with their first attacks thanks to their skill. Yet it would not be enough as Maelchar still landed a blow and Zeriax 3 more. TO make matters worse the drake facing Morgrym, Maelchar, and Garith took a blow from Morgrym and 2 from Garith.
Pakak unleashes another mythic bolt of energy at the drake... 10d4 + 10 ⇒ (3, 4, 4, 4, 1, 3, 2, 3, 3, 3) + 10 = 40 and the drake falls to the ground. the rider nimbly jumps off with vengeance in his eyes as he looks to take someone down with him. Without his armor Garith seems the prime target.

The drake on the far side ignores Zeriax and charges full tilt at So'rien since he is holding the lance.

Good guys up with Garith hurt, So'rien prone, 1 drake dead, 1 rider pissed off and 1 set over So'rien

S'orien, did you brace that lance for the imminent charge?
Zeriax
Variel, I don't wanna bog things down but... I've been targetting that drake since round 1. It is not down yet?
Zeriax steps back (we don't have a new map, right?) and unleashes on it again, but still... Could you double check?
Using Precise Strike, and burning a point of Ki for another attack on a Flurry.

Morgrym will continue to attack the drake unless Zeriax has killed it. If that's the case, his target will be the rider.

[ooc]True Zeriax but you have not hit every time and it has evaded 2-3 of you shots thanks to a high ride skill and mounted combat. Don't worry as it is well and truly dead though now.
ride check 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (7) + 19 = 26
Zeriax fires again at the drake hitting with 4 arrows. The rider is too slow though and is unable to pull the drake out of the way of the second arrow. It imbeds itself into the soft underbelly. The next arrow follow suit and with it the drake expires. Seeing the drake dead Zeriax pulls the last 2 arrows at the rider. Both of these also hit the rider who seems a lot less durable then the drake itself.
On the other side Morgrym has fun wailing in tot he cause of the trouble as he also hits the rider with two blows from his claws doing more damage than most could do with a earth breaker.
So'rien Zeru
Sorien interrupts the charge causing the Drake to smack into a cocoon of force that springs up around the sorcerer.
