I am somewhat annoyed everybody has basically ignored making checks of their own because Cleo is laughing, somebody that so far has shown an intense dislike, bordering on hatred of him.
Furnok and Wabbit are very familiar with Cleo, who is a very good person, despite personal dislikes. Personally I believe they would know her well enough not to be required to make a roll. Brelin is not as familiar with the halfling, but we have been travelling together for a bit and Cleo had to be practically tied down to keep from helping people even though she was riddled with pain, poison, and ghoul fever after that attack. She wears her lawful good nature quite openly.
But most important, I think it should be up to the players to decide how they react(roll or not) unless Treasure tells them different.
But I can add a post to tell everyone if it would be better.
Also she doesn't hate him, dislikes Yes, hate No.
I think in this situation no, they should make their own rolls unless you tell them seeing as how we've been possessed once already. And I'm not saying they should have to roll to decide their action, but for whether they fell for my jest just like you did.
I don't think it's a big deal, but were I in Cleo/Wabbit/... position, I would have rolled the sense motive check. I can see one of my paladins rushing in to save the poor Gnome, only to chew him out like a child once she discovered the truth.
I'm starting to feel better and get back into the fray. I don't think this game really suffered from a lack of posting, but regardless thank you for your support. My girlfriend whom I was looking to settle down with left me. It wasn't really a shock, but I've been pretty emotionally turbulent ever since.

INCREDIBLE NEWS EVERYBODY well, at least incredible for me. I don't remember if I told you all, but last year I was diagnosed as diabetic. I just came from a doctor's appointment and I am not diabetic anymore! Through proper diet I have dropped below the threshold which now makes me pre diabetic. I am celebrating with Gummy Bears and soda like a dumbas.

Halfing SMASH=when 2 halfings with this feat Rage together w/in 30ft of each other then juxtapostion of their combined cuteness vs their diminutive fearsome rage causes enemies within 30 ft to become confused and must roll a will save or be confused for 1d4+1 rounds (see confusion spell)

There's like one you qualify for It takes the AC penalty away, unfortunately given Cleo's actual score I do not suggest this. But if you guys want to I'm not going to get in the way of your fun at all.

As you've probably found out, most of these rooms trigger a saving throw (usually Will). I'd recommend either Wabbit or Brelin lead the expedition, if I were you. Eventually this could backfire with a bunch of undead or a trap, but you never know.
Wabbit is good with plunging headfirst into danger...his god protects him and he seems to escape unscathed more often than not

Hmm. Probably won't be a problem given we're slow on weekends but I'll be attending a convention this weekend. My town has what basically amounts to a Board game/TTRPG convention that started a couple of years ago and I'm going this year. So from friday to sunday I'm probably going to be pleasantly wrecked from near non stop roleplaying.

Yeah, but I'd give that seventy dollar admission fee (I paid for the one that gets me access to the hospitality suite with food and drink) for just having a regular game here in town.
Hopefully the food is more than "Oreo and Dorito snack packs and milk boxes"

... Okay, so let's hash this out, Wilhim isn't continuing. And I'm glad none of you are sad to see him go, he didn't turn out the way I wanted, and I've been playing him the best I can, I've tried to make him work, but things just got worse.
Now, unless Helgarr said something to you in private messages, I would really appreciate you NOT blaming me since she didn't give a reason.
And to say I don't know how to play as part of a team, I'm one of the original players and did just fine until my previous character died.
I made some bad decisions, and I roleplayed them, I shouldn't have asked for Maria's spellbooks after she died, I was trying to increase Wilhim's utility.
Then I tried to show the odd gnomish sense of humor which fell flat and you'll note I haven't tried to joke around like that again, followed by my unfortunate wordchoice after the ballroom incident when I called Aggah the goblin. I did not set out to disrupt anything, this character just, ended up antagonistic when that wasn't my intent at all.
I would ask you to please just bear with it until something kills Wilhim, or we can separate.
