Dies the Fire by S.M. Stirling. First book in the Emberverse series. Its worth a read. The second book, The Protector's War, slows quite a bit but was enjoyable to me. I have not yet read, or even bought the third book, A Meeting at Corvallis. Evidently there are now 10 books in this series.

I gave up on it a while back. I'm surprised it hasn't been marked inactive yet. Shame really. I thought you had a pretty cool character dynamic there.
Given that GM Grey has actively pursued another PbP in the last few days, I am inclined to say so, yes.
I would consider it a courtesy, GM Grey, if you would retire this thread so that it no longer shows on my/our Campaigns pages as an active Campaign?
Sorry it has taken me so long to get back with everyone. I DO have reliable internet access again & am still interested in continuing the game.
I am not sure that is an option for our DM. He seems to have bowed out.
It also seemed he has bowed out on the other PbP he took up the reigns for (as I was in that one)

it was about that time he took over as Dm for a game I was in. I mentioned to him that I remade Annie for another game.

This is during a very brief break, so apologies if grammatical errors turn this into alphabet soup.
I need a new alias or just use this one but will have to have two character sheets behind it since Annie is in another game.
I don't mind playing this again just will have to decide what direction to go about the alias.
Either option is fine, though a new alias might be easier in some ways.
