I'm not dead yet! The funeral turned into a sooner than expected move back to the state where I am attending university, which somehow further morphed into renovating the apartment near campus. We just finished redoing some floors and deconstructing the basement. The job hunt goes as most hunting does, too long. Huzzah. Game post tomorrow.
The clan of my mother hearkens back to their ancestors, being prolific, industrious, devoted, and with the general temperament of a wolverine. Byzantine schemes and sharpened knifes are shunned in favor of battle-axes and open warfare. Fortunately, as the distant and hippie-fied tribe of the clan, we hold true to the wisdom of our patron Aphrael, hugs and kisses all around! Thus the funeral was navigated without any casualties.
I contrast this with the clan of my father, whose last funeral consisted largely of eating delicious food and deciding who got which piece of artwork. It is both disturbing and enlightening as a child to learn that the beautiful nude torso atop the piano is in fact a life size replica of your grandmother.
I plead forgiveness of this foolishness, and blame it on sleep deprivation, climate change, and the unknowable lifeforms of the basement. Ia! Ia! Cthulhu!

Thing to remember about con damage, this is a general announcement for everyone, is it applies retroactively to all HD. So in Beylinda's case, thank you for volunteering, 5 con damage puts her at 9 con, which means she loses 3hp per hd. So her maxhp would now be 20.
acutally DM in pathinder you dont reduce con the way you did in 3.5. you take a con penalty starting from zero up to the number (for bonus an penalty to skill and save and hp etc)
i am still at 14 Con (with a 5 Penalty. at 6 penalty i'll loose an other hp/HD)
so a 5 penalty is translated only into -2hp / HD (the neg works at each even penalty)
unless of your you cant to do it as a straight reduce in CON you are the DM

Long story short, I wrote a post two weeks ago monday saying I would likely be AFK for the next two weeks. I posted this on the discussion threads of all my campaigns, and apparently the goblins ate everything. So I am currently freaking out a little bit. A thousand apologies may my house be turned into a dungheap.
Since the funeral things in that clan have devolved to the point that there are now three camps, two of which have lawyers aimed at each other, and the a third, which my family and one other falls in, which are watching the oncoming train-wreck weeping, because seriously, it's reaching latin soap-opera levels, aside from the adultery and murder, so far.
As neither side will allow the other to touch the estate, my family, and thus me because I'm attending the nearby university and everyone else had to get back to jobs and homes, have had to take care of fixing up properties to sell, cataloging possessions, and generally all the stuff that comes with estates. Alone. By myself. Also trying to wrangle the paranoid schizophrenic aunt who refuses to accept that her mother being dead means the house that she lives needs to be sold and that all of this stuff doesn't actually belong to her. She has the endearing quality of accusing any and all males around of rape.
And so I washed my hands of the mess, except not really. Having lived in and managed one of the properties that make up the estate for three years I can't just walk away because, well, it's my house and I've been paying bills, so yeah.
This is in addition to all the other stuff that comes with moving back early, finding job, taking courses, etc.
Anyway, I honestly thought everybody knew. That's why I didn't drop back in. Basically just told you guys to have fun RPing your meeting with River and I'd move things along once back. Expect gameplay post up in an hour or two, I need to write it up and will be doing some fast-forwarding, if it's alright with everyone, to make up for lost time.
No apology needed. Crap happens. Good to hear youre doing... okay? Though it sounds like you still have more than enough on your plate.

Please, for the love of any supernatural entity of your choice, do not leave documents that contradict each other when you die, or at least date them so people know which is the more recent. River, my family should be immune because, well, I'm related to them! I've known them both for decades, they're my favorite uncles, I know they are better than this for I have seen them be better than this. Between the two of them they have three graduate degrees in the 'hard' sciences! How can the Humanities and Fine Arts BAs of my father's clan be more rational than chemists!
My grand father has Alzheimer and between that and him being 91 i can tell you the following:
Old people don't want to let go of anything: if they do its makes them fell like they have nothing and therefore are closer to death
they try to hoard (like squirrel) because they get anxious.
they try not to plan ahead too much because that means they have to think about their own death who is close at hand.
(trying to convince my grand father to do anything is nearly impossible)

I had to sign over acerage and a home in another state left to me by a grandfather I never really knew to spite his miserly children simply because I never really bugged him. I had to either fight for it or sign it over to one of my aunts,the only one I liked.
I had relatives I never knew either threatening me or trying to weasel thier way into my life to get at this property.They were,ah,quite enraged to find out what I did with it.Especially since the papers that were drawn up the property would be given to the state should.anything happen to my aunt--or if anyone harassed her about it.
Almost getting drained by a swarm of oversized mosquito creatures while herding noncommunicative teenagers through an unknown landscape was taxing.

edit: DM Grey; by strict RAW White Hair has no out-of-combat utility, unlike the Prehensile Hair Hex. Would it be possible for it to have the level of utility of the Prehensile Hair Hex?
Eh? Sure. Treat it like the hex for non-combat purposes, except using the white hair length.
