DM Locke |

Skeleton D charges at Evenor, its teeth chattering, and its claws razor sharp!
Skeleton D moves to R32 and attacks Evenor at +2 to hit due to charge.
Attack roll: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
Damage roll: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
The skeletal horror misses Evenor by a mile.
Unknown Form A is up!
Emerging from the huge bonfire is another horrible skeleton, this one wreathed in flame!
Flaming skeleton A emerges from the fire and moves to L24.
Kathai Lli is up next!

DM Locke |

Kathai Lli takes a 5' step back to stand beside Evenor (S33), uses a move action to reload her crossbow, and a standard action to fire at the evil cleric.
Crossbow: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 6
Sneak Attack: 1d6 ⇒ 4
Kathai's shot seems to bounce off an invisible shield, the bolt falling broken to the ground. The evil cleric laughs, then a madness seems to sieze her. I shall wear your skin, little halfling!!
Inwe is up next!

Inwe is up next!
GAH! I was busy writing my action and had to go to a meeting before finishing. Also, I specifically left standing orders that I was going to move to flank and draw my sword if I or Evenor ended up in melee
"Not likely! I'm way too small! Unless it was a mask! Then that might be cool looking! But I'd rather not!"

Kathai Lli |

@ Kathai Lli - sorry, who exactly do you think you are in melee with? There's no-one but Allies within 10 squares of you. That's why I chose option B, your missile attack.
unless I missed something,
Evenor = R33
Skeleton charged to = R32
Kathai = S32, adjacent to the skeleton that charged Elenor
It's no biggie, I'm happy to roll with it.

DM Locke |

Inwe boldly moves forward, preparing to loose the power of Sehanine upon these grotesque mockeries of life.
Readying action to channel positive energy upon approach.
1d6 ⇒ 4 CPE
Question for Inwe: how many enemies must approach before you unleash your channeled energy?
Also, DC 10 religion check:

DM Locke |

@ Kathai - Sorry! My screw up for not updating the map before I slept. Bloody hell! Go ahead and re-take the action, with my apologies; the skeleton is at -2 AC anyways after the charge, so he's prime pickins for a melee attack. The evil cleric still wants to wear your skin, a-la buffalo bill, btw :-)

Kathai Lli |

record skips...
Kathai nimbly slides to the back of the skeleton and winks at Evenor through the its rib cage and stabs at the "vitals", going for a bargain basement spinal tap...
5' step to R31
Draw Short Sword (switching crossbow to my left hand, just in case I need it later)
Whack Defensively (-4 attack, +2 AC) while flanking
Attack: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (6) + 0 = 6 (+2, +2, -4 for net 0)
Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Sneak Attack: 1d6 ⇒ 1
ugh... something less pointy would've been a lot better choice. I'll add it to the list...

DM Locke |

Okay, so skeleton B is up!
It charges at Ruhk, slashing with its sharp claw!
Attack roll: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
Damage roll: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
It hits Ruhk hard, slashing across his chest.
Crit confirmation: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13
No critical! The skeleton is at -2 AC until its next action.
Skeleton E is up!

DM Locke |

Skeleton E uses a move action and moves forward to I25. It readies an action to attack vs. approach.
Skeleton F is up!
Skeleton F uses a move action and moves to J23. I judge that this represents sufficient approach to trigger Inwe's readied action to channel positive energy.
vs. DC 12:
Skeletons E's save: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
Flaming Skeleton A's save: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21
Skeleton F's save: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
Skeleton E and Flaming Skeleton A make their saves; they each take only 2 points of damage. Skeleton F, however, takes the full four points and falls to the ground in pieces under the weight of Sehanine's power.
Unknown form B is up!

Kathai Lli |

Evenor drops his composite longbow, draws his light mace, and attacks Skeleton D.
Skeleton D is flanked and has a -2 to it's AC due to charging Evenor earlier.
Attack roll: 1d20+5
Damage roll: 1d6+2Evenor's fierce attack misses, sadly.
Evil cleric is up!
Surrounded by bony, pokey death, Kathai winks at Evenor and you hear a small voice laugh out "What was that? I lined him up for you! I practically put a bow on it and handed it to you for the Moon Feast! Ha!"
Assuming, of course, that out of turn flavor-only banter is ok. I thought if I waited for my turn it would be out of context and not quite as humorous. Like telling half a joke and waiting to tell the punch line the next day

Ruhk "The Dandy" |

Blood! This is getting painful, lucky I was healed a little before...
Ruhk winces as his chest is raked by bony talons, seeing that he must deal with the skeleton in front of him before he can reach the cleric, he saves the magic he had in mind and redirects his arcane powers.
Ruhks weapon suddenly comes alive in his hand, glowing with a soft blue light.
Swift action to imbue weapon with Arcane pool.
Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (15) + 3 = 18
Damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12

Ruhk "The Dandy" |

Ruhk spits another mouthful of blood down at the bone meal at his feet, and then he glares at the cleric.
You're next.
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
Not recognising the type of spell she is using he grunts.
"Stop her casting if you can!"

DM Locke |

Skeleton A moves 25' to J27 and attacks Inwe with its claws.
1st claw attack
Attack roll: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16
Damage roll: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
2nd claw attack
Attack roll: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Damage roll: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Both claws miss the beautiful elven cleric!
Alendrethala is up next!

Lockjaw Stoneshield |

Round 1 Init Last
HP = 17
AC = 17
+6 Fort, +1 Ref, -1 Will
Weapon Equipped = Dwarven Waraxe
Speed = 20'
Rage/Day = 6/8
Status Effects = None
Lockjaw snarls at the skeleton in front of him and attempts to bash it apart with his axe, spittle flying from his mouth.
Dwarven Waraxe Two Handed Power Attack Raging +6
1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 111d10 + 12 ⇒ (9) + 12 = 21
AC now 15 HP now 19

Alendrethala Lossëhelini |

Spellcraft 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28
Recognizing the spell, Alendrethala is fought between admiring the cleric or being scared by her.
"Everyone stay alert, that is a powerful summoning spell, something big coming" She shouts with all her breath
edit: not going to move and changing her plans, Alendrethala shoots another evocation missile at the evil cleric (5/7)
damage 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
not sure if i need a check to overcome SR but in case 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
double edit:i hope i don't need to check for SR c***o, and don't ask what that masked word means please :)

DM Locke |

@ Alendrethala - your force missile has a maximum range of 110 feet, or 22 squares, and at your current location (U40) the evil cleric is beyond your range. I've moved you to T34 to put you within range.
Alendrethala fires a missile of pure magical energy at the evil cleric, hoping to cause her to lose her spell.
Concentration check DC 18:1d20 + 9 ⇒ (6) + 9 = 15
She does it! The evil clerics prayer fizzles, as the pain from Alendrethala's magical blast bites into her shoulder. She fixes her eyes on the lovely elven wizard. You elven B~@*%! I'll rip you to shreds!!
Lockjaw Stoneshield is up!

DM Locke |

Lockjaw swings with all his might at the Skeleton - and misses with a blow that would have felled three normal men.
Round one is over - for round two, I'm going to try and simplify the initiative process a bit. The order will be as follows:
Kathai
Inwe
Skeletons A-F
Flaming Skeletons A-B
Evenor
Evil cleric
Ruhk
Vestilet
Alendrethala
Lockjaw
It was brought to my attention that separate initiative for each combatant might be a bit overly complex, so going forward I'll use a modified system where all creatures of a certain type share initiative rolls. I won't promise to keep all moves for a creature type in a single post, however; I find that too limiting and reserve the right to string actions out over several posts as needed. I do think this may streamline our turn by turn action process, however.
Kathai Lli is up next!
Link to map is HERE as well as on the campaign info page.

Alendrethala Lossëhelini |

@ Alendrethala - your force missile has a maximum range of 110 feet, or 22 squares, and at your current location (U40) the evil cleric is beyond your range. I've moved you to T34 to put you within range.
Yes thank you. To tell the truth i've thought of that, but couldn't find a quick reference to the map. Also i had to post in the game i'm running on these boards, so were a bit in a rush

Kathai Lli |

AC = 19 (21 defensive)
+2 Fort, +7 Ref, +1 Will
Weapon Equipped = short sword
Speed = 20'
As the pile of walking bones crumbles in front of her, Kathai nods to Vestilet and seamlessly slides across the battlefield and flanks the skeleton opposing the smelly dwarf. She slips her blade through the air at a downward arc aimed for the back of the skeletons knees.
Move to o32 to act as flank for Lockjaw and attack skeleton C
Short sword: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (10) + 0 = 10
Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
Flank Sneak: 1d6 ⇒ 3

DM Locke |

Okay, I'll act for Inwe:
She channels positive energy, catching Skeletons A and E, and Flaming Skeleton A, in the burst.
CPE:1d6 ⇒ 4
DC is 12 - undead saves:
Skeleton A: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
Skeleton E: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
Flaming Skeleton A: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
Skeletons A and E crumble into dust! Flaming Skeleton A, however, still stands.
Skeleton C is up next!

DM Locke |

Skeleton C attacks Lockjaw Stonefist with its vicious claws!
1st claw attack:
Attack roll: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21
Damage roll:1d4 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
2nd claw attack:
Attack roll: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22
Damage roll:1d4 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Lockjaw is raked twice by the undead horror's claws! Total damage is 13 hp.
Flaming Skeletons are up next!

DM Locke |

Flaming Skeleton A moves to I27 and attacks Inwe with its flaming claws!
1st claw attack:
Attack roll: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13
Damage roll: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
Fire damage: 1d6 ⇒ 6
2nd claw attack:
Attack roll: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18
Damage roll: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
Fire damage: 1d6 ⇒ 3
It's first claw attack misses, but the second strikes true, felling the elvish cleric!
Inwe is down and is at -3 HP.
Flaming Skeleton B charges at Vestilet!
Claw attack:
Attack roll: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27
Damage roll: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
Fire damage: 1d6 ⇒ 6
The flaming skeleton hits Vestilet with full force, dropping the valiant paladin to the ground, unconcious!
Vestilet is down and at -2 HP.
Evenor is up next!

Lockjaw Stoneshield |

Round 2 Init Last
HP = 6/17+2
AC = 17 (15 raging)
+6 Fort, +1 Ref, -1 Will
Weapon Equipped = Dwarven Waraxe
Speed = 20'
Rage/Day = 5/8
Status Effects = None
Lockjaw continues to bash at the skeleton, obvlivous to the others or just how outmatched he is, his eyes filled with visions of sweet death.
Dwarven Waraxe Two Handed Power Attack Raging Flanking +8
1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 91d10 + 12 ⇒ (8) + 12 = 20

DM Locke |

Okay, so the evil cleric is up next!
She casts a spell, spellcraft DC is 17:
A red scimitar, dripping with blood, appears next to Alendrethala and slashes at her!
Attack roll: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14
Damage roll: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
The blade bites deeply into the elven wizard, hurting her greatly; she remains standing by sheer force of will! The evil cleric laughs maniacally. I'll send you to the abyss, you and your sister both, trollop!!! Seeing Evenor approach, she sneers I'll geld you, little half-breed! Come closer and taste the wrath of Garagos!
Ruhk is up next!

Ruhk "The Dandy" |

Ruhks reserve of cool composure crumbles rapidly at seeing the battle turn against his side.
With a howl of animalistic rage he looks from the cleric to the flaming skeleton accosting the elven cleric, eventually he makes his decision...
Charge to J28, attacking Flaming Skeleton A.
Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25
Damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9

DM Locke |

Just for added emphasis:
Confirmation roll for Ruhk's critical:1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15
Blah, no critical. In any case, Ruhk's charge crushes the flaming skeleton that had been standing over the fallen elven cleric.
Vestilet is unconcious, so Alendrethala is up next. Note: spiritual weapons cannot use attacks of opportunity, so maneuver as you want.

DM Locke |

Lockjaw continues to bash at the skeleton, obvlivous to the others or just how outmatched he is, his eyes filled with visions of sweet death.
Dwarven Waraxe Two Handed Power Attack Raging Flanking +8
1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9
1d10 + 12 ⇒ (8) + 12 = 20
Lockjaw misses Skeleton C by a mile, though had he hit, he would have vaporized it!
Round Two is over!
Kathai Lli is up next, at the top of round three!

Kathai Lli |

AC = 19 (21 defensive)
+2 Fort, +7 Ref, +1 Will
Weapon Equipped = short sword
Speed = 20'
Kathai steals a quick look about the battlefield. Vestilet needs help... Evenor is running off on his own to fight the she-beast-wench-battlepriest-womanthing... but she's much better when working in concert...
Having spent too much time thinking about it, she finds the decision made for her and presses her attack on the skeleton...
flanking defensive stab at Skelton C...
Attack (defensive, flanking): 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (11) + 0 = 11
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 1
Sneak: 1d6 ⇒ 5
and the streak continues... I may have to take the risk and drop the defensive fighting next time...

DM Locke |

Inwe is unconscious, so next turn goes to Skeleton C, the last of its kind (on this map, anyways!).
Skeleton C presses its attack on Lockjaw Stoneshield.
1st claw attack:
Attack roll:1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10
Damage roll:1d4 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
2nd claw attack:
Attack roll:1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Damage roll:1d4 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Both misses!
Flaming Skeleton B is up!
