Its because i remove spells when i cast them.. I suppose i could put an x out by ones cast, but ive alway sdone it this way. Never was asked about it bf tbh..
If they save their staggered for a round and need to make the save again for 18 more rounds.. Or at least i think you do.. The rules on the spell and the wording is hazy.

Yeesh, many map mistakes. Sorry. Vars - no, the giant doesn't survive. Duhwoo - the module doesn't say, so I'll arbitrarily put it at 15 feet above the ground, so you'd be 10 feet from the ground. Avoreal, I will move you when I generate the next map. For the moment the cloud giant is at W21 to X23 is dead, so consider those squares "empty".

The giant sphere of burning gold defies categorization, but as you step onto the platform to examine it, Vuvu's overwhelmed with a sudden sense of vertigo as Vuvu suddenly sees something different - a stone platform hanging above a lake of fire. He senses the terrible presence of a powerful spellcaster, and a source of magic that holds terrible impact.
Vuvu doesn't see any figures in his new vision, but he gets the sense that to get to the area he sees he has to touch the sphere.

As Vars and Vuvu touch the sphere with their hands and Duhwoo gingerly extends the toe sticking out of his worn-out boot to touch the sphere, bright red flames engulf their figures and they seem to be turned into ash in front of your eyes.
You arrive on a platform suspended above a lake of fire. Fifty feet above and to the side stand two storm giants, up stairs above you stands a rune giant looming forty feet above you and behind him stands Karzoug and a giant blue dragon.
Please roll Fortitude DC 20 (don't laugh) or be stunned for one round. You are not yet in combat but may not yet act! I just thought it'd be fun to tease the slowpokes. Map up when Avoreal and Trotter follow.
