Before I drop $20 on a new game, I wanted to see if anyone was interested in The Spire, a brand new game from Grant Howitt and Chris Taylor. Players are Drow freedom fighters battling against their High Elf oppressors. It seems like a less morally abhorrent Blades in the Dark. Highly story-based, with a dice mechanic largely existing to determine how badly things go for you.
I’m looking for three or four players who can post daily.
Any takers?
Edit: here is more information about the game.

Ok! This is good enough! I’ll make an official recruitment thread as soon as I can figure out how to ethically and legally share the character creation information.
Well, if you can't figure that out easily, let me know, I might just buy it anyhow. Looks pretty cool, and might be something I'd run for my local gang.

Okay, so I got the book and took a crack at building my character:
Clive
Durance: Killer (Fight, Sneak)
Class: Bound
Stress:
*Blood: +1
*Mind:
*Silver:
*Shadow: +3
*Reputation:
Refresh: Bring a Criminal to justice
Skills: Fight (Attack using daggers), Sneak (Hide in Shadows), Pursue
Domains: Low Society, Crime
Core Abilities:
*Surprise Infiltration: can appear in a situation when not present, as long as there is some conceivable way for me to be there.
*Bound Blade: Can use my god knife to power my abilities.
Low Advances:
*The Secret of the Crowd [Divine]: When I wear my mask and stand in a crowd, I fade into the background, unless I attract attention to myself.
*The Secret of Second Skin [Divine]: Once per situation, when attacked by an enemy and the gm would inflict stress, I take 1 stress instead.
Bonds:
*Jasper: Individual-level; member of the downtrodden underclass. most important thing: starting a restaurant.
*Rescued a PC from a dangerous situation.
Equipment: Light Leather Armor (Armor 2), Cereonial red binding ropes and mask, sturdy leather gloves, climbing gear and ropes, God-Knife (d3, concealable, bound)
He's a one-armed Drow vigilante who hunts those who prey on the poor.
