Four skeletons appear behind the oozes, armed with longspears.
He casts Silent Image, trying to confuse the Slimes.
He then lowers the rope again (hope there is still enough rope).

"A fire bomb might work on these things," John says loudly. "we've got to get the goat out of this pit," he thinks to himself as he pulls his rope out of his pack and throws it down ti bakanor. [/b]"Just grab a hold I'll pull you up."[/b]

Strangth: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6

Not sure if i need a strength check, or if i can get him up before the rope breaks but John will tug backwards quickly like tug of war not hand over hand to try to get Bakanor up quickly.

Vrexis turns to the slimes and begins a spell, knowing it to be one more she can't get back... beginning to cast sommon swarm, the bat version of it when she finishes, a swarm of bats emerges out of nowhere on top of the slimes, their wings and fangs battering the zombie like creatures.

I will help in a moment I could just grab him out... she says

Looking at the situation, Uriel rummages through her bag as she drops her bow on the floor, "FIRE IN THE HOLE!" she shouts as she chucks a vial of fire in a bottle right behind the translucent enemies as to not hurt her allies. The splash should be able to give them some hurting

O'..... but they are fire bats now. XD


Once again Bankanor attempts to climb the rope. Once more the rope is melted.

The fate of the bats is cruel. They dive in to bite and fall victim to the ooze. Their mouths and throats melt away. Their wings often grazing against the creatures, burn away like paper to a flame. As the flap helplessly on the ground more creatures move in, trampling them and putting them out of their misery with a poof of disappearance. The flame do little against the oozes but do cause more agony to the bats.

The long arms of the chained mass now reach down and grab at Bankanor. He is able to escape their grasp... for now.

This looks to be how I die... Well, I will at least get the wand to the others

Bankanor pulls the wand of Cure Light Wounds from his bandolier, climbs as high as he can, then throws the wand towards his allies while hanging onto the side of the pit.

"Vrexis, grab me if you can!" Bankanor calls out to his enlarged friend, hoping to be pulled out of the pit.

Climb: 1d20 + 4 - 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 - 4 = 12

Ranged Attack to throw wand?: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12

Devon takes another running jump across. Landing next to the merged creature. He immediately attacks, being defensive as before.

free- release one hand.

Joshua's skeletons have any effect?


The illusions seem to have no effect. Devon however makes a great distraction as he slices an arm off of the blob.

Bankanor climbs/is pulled up our of the pit.

Once Bankanor is up, Devon standing jumps back over the pit.

That's assuming I am able to...


You do not have time to make that jump. The large ooze is now attempting to engulf you. you have 3 options:(unless you have a immediate action you could perform)

A) make an attack of opportunity
B) make a reflex save to roll into the pit
C) hastily make a blind backflip at a negative with an acrobatics check.

Well C is more or less what I did anyhow. I just jumped back with no running start. I will use my staggerproof boots to do a move as an immediate action (once per day) to do my jump.


By activating your boots you are successful in backfliping to safety. Well done

Out of the pit, Bankanor scoops up the wand again. Hearing Kimble go on about closing the doors, Bankanor says,

"I suggest we keep them open, noting like trying to run a way and dying cause the door you closed is stuck shut now."

Bankanor then hits himself with the wand.

In combat take a round every day. Try to stay in initiative, but after 9 pm anything is fair as the bad guys will take their round every night
