Vrexis hadn't prepared any undead fighting spells... she didn't think she needed combat spells yesterday... and now Fen was gone she couldn't do much against this enemy without wasting her spells she instead readies herself. she then studies her target, trying to notice anything unusual.

Vrexis casts a simple cantrip on her ally, to guide his next attack, then steadies herself and moves to try to get around the skeleton. Vrexis cast Guidance on John, who will hopefully attack next turn, she then tries to get behind the skeleton but is staying 10ft away from the creature by moving around it's threatened squares.

Your arrow skips off of a pauldron and into the mist. As your eye tracks the arrow you see mist being displaced as if two invisable figures are moving towards Vrexis as to pin her between themselves and the skeleton.

"Vrexis you may want to step back and circle around again" Bankanor calls to him as he takes a swing with his bardiche.

vrexis moves back, but rather than moving to excape, she begins casting a spell. when she finishes she grows to the size of an ogre, large and mighty so five foot step away from the threat, then casts enlarge person on herself. I am not afraid, i will crush them!

Uriel shouts there are more! Fall back! Into the keep! Uriel moves back towards the keep giving covering fire. A dozen or so of these figures begin to emerge from the mist.

Bankanor lands a blow but it seems ineffective as his blade passes through. His axehead sizzles.

Vrexis gets large.


The first two creatures bother strike at Vrexis. She takes 7 points of acid damage.


Kimble leaps across the pit. He makes it, barely, skidding into the keep.

Vexis sees she is outnumbered and retreats Withdrawal, using full round to run and not provoking AOO from first square.


Devon holds for a moment, then they attack. John and Bankanor are both attacked by two each, and they both take a hit for 6 and 3 acid damage respectively. Uriel shoots one engaged with Bankanor and splashes to the ground, reduced to a puddle. Devon is attacked on three sides, but manages to defend himself.

The party is being surrounded and more figures shamble through the mist.
