The figure waves its hand and the Vanth vanishes.
"Oui." Amelie says giving the last button on her jacket a dirty look as it refuses to acquiesce. "It is important we show to support Barlcay's expression of justice in front of the town. Knowing that this sort of...monstre was among them will be unsettling enough. A visible presence of their safety helps." the guardswoman says buckling her gunbelt opposite her sword.
"Yeah, it's definitely something noteworthy." the magus responds, direct ting the horses towards the center of town.
"Do you want to go to the......event?" Drago asked.
Gerard nods. "I know. I had hoped that with Rafat and then the Common House incident that we would have some order established here..."
Yulia thinks for a moment. "We should. If Charity is there, you should lend your support. I think the others would be there anyway."
After about an hour, the pit fiend disappears in a gout of flame.
"Well I certainly planned to, I was merely asking if you wanted to come along. Since you are, perhaps we should prepare."
Some space has been cleared away from the town square where a chopping block has been set up. Barclay holds Basir as Ulli purifies the area. "I don't know why you're doing that, we are under the protection of the Tower."
Ulli continues his task. "Force of habit."
Yulia nods, going to get changed into something warmer.
Konstanyná knocks on the door of the tailor's shop.
"I'll get it," Toni says. "It's probably Konstantyná."
She opens the door to see the changeling. "Hey. Come in."
Konstantyná walks inside and gives everyone a nod. "Here."
She produces a black robe with silver accents, the symbol of House Bok on prominently on the front. "Your official attire."
"This just screams cultist," Toni says, taking the robe. "I'll get changed and be right down."
She heads upstairs to the bathroom to put on the robe.
She looks at her mother, "I don't think I need to go to this, and I don't think Juhi needs to either. If you and Auntie Priya want to go I can just stay here with my little sister." She says as she finishes drying the dishes that had been washed and starts putting them away.
She rubs her eyes as she yawns, "Do you have any idea what everyone is doing there?" As they near the town square she takes in everything with a confused expression before getting very quiet.
Fae waits for the results of her scrying before sending them off again.
Asha shakes her head. "We still have too much work to do to get involved in something that isn't about us right now."
Priya nods. "It's meaningless for me."
"I agree," Elena says as Toni returns downstairs.
She nods and continues to put the dishes away. Looking at Elena she asks, "Do you need anything sissy? I know dinner was pretty filling, but if there's something that you want or need I can get it for you. Water, some more tea, something sweet?"
Toni fiddles with the robe a bit. "This really doesn't look too authoritative..."
"Looks like an execution is going to take place," Pandi answers.
Elena shakes her head. "I'm fine."
"We can make alterations to it later," Konstantyná says. "We need to go before Barclay begins."
"Alright, alright," Toni says. "Hey, everyone, I'll be back later."
She shakes her head, "Yeah..." She waits till Sadhana stops the cart and climbs down. Seeing Barclay she goes over to him, "So I wander away for a bit and all hell breaks loose?" She asks only half jokingly. She couldn't expect to be kept in the loop if she wandered away from town, even if she had good reason to do so.
"Okay, Toni," Elena says, unsure of what to add.
She nods and gives her a wave, "Okay, be safe." She knew that this thing had to be done to ensure everyone's safety, but it was a grisly affair and shouldn't be a spectator sport. At least that's how she felt about it.
"Just Basir," Barclay says, quickly catching Arista up on everything that happened. "If you don't mind, I'll need you to record everything that is said once Toni and Konstantyná gets here. An accurate record goes a long way to proving that Basir's execution is just, in case he has some family or anyone who would seek vengeance on his behalf."
She nods as she takes the parchment and writing implement from him, "Of course I will. I'm sorry I couldn't get back sooner, it was a bit further out than I realized."
Once Charity is ready she makes sure they all have something warm on before heading to the town square. Seeing Arista there with Barclay had her letting out a sigh of relief. She would give the message to her once this ordeal was over with.
Gerard nods. "I know. I had hoped that with Rafat and then the Common House incident that we would have some order established here..."
"There has been, but it is impossible to expect it all to vanish. If it did, they wouldn't need us." Amélie says wrapping her arm around Gerard's

"It would be nice to not be needed," Gerard says, leading Amélie to the door. "At least, in the guard capacity."
Charity approaches the front of the gathering crowd, but avoids looking directly at Basir.
"" Basir yells. "Look at me! Look at me before I die! You think this will free you from me?!"
Barclay roughly slaps Basir. "Shut up. You're free to die with some dignity, but that's about it."
"Anything else, I can take care of Rajni." Kama says with a smile.
Hearing Basir's yelling, Toni quickens her pace with Konstantyná by her side. She slows down as she reaches the chopping block. "I can do this..."
Sādhanā's eyes narrow as she thinks about the likely activity. "Not sure what would warrant that but lets go." She says getting them as close as she can.
She shakes her head as she puts the last dish up in the cupboard and looks for something else to keep her busy. She felt like she didn't know what to do with herself and with everything going on tonight she didn't want to go out to give Tesia and Sadhana that ring her father left her. "Nah, but thanks anyways. I guess I'm just trying to keep myself busy. Is there anything that anyone needs help with? I guess I could just scrub the counters and floors if there's nothing else to do."

"There's nothing to be nervous about," Konstantyná says. "It's much like reading those Miranda rights you told me about."
"You could read me a story," Juhi suggests to Rajni.
Toni nods. She glances at Arista to see if she's ready to write.
Pandi gets out of the cart and looks around for Sienna and Cyna.
She smiles and gives her new little sister a nod, "Okay, what kind of stories do you like?" She asks as she holds out her hand to the little girl.
Catching Toni's glance she holds up the parchment and quill and gives her nod to let her know that she's ready. Holding the parchment in front of her she readies herself to record all of the events.
"Old fashioned with princesses and knights," Juhi answers, taking Rajni's hand.
