"That sounds wonderful," Yulia says. "But these foot massages don't make up for not telling me things and trying to take on too much on your own. You know that, right?"

"What would you like me to do with that?" Kierk asks Rhadaya.

She has to really sit and think for a minute or two, which gives her time to get some breaths. It was hard to think back and try to recall anything really since so much has happened....but she couldn't really think of anything. After a few minutes she puts her arms back down, even though it helped her breath a little easier she couldn't keep them up for very long. Finally she shakes her head, Nn...nooo...I don't think so."

Elena nudges Kama. "Help me up...I've been laying here too long."

Alethiro retrieved a cup and poured some water. Giving the cup to Celine, "Drink up my Little Wisp, then it's a bath, then bed."

"I'm beginning to get that, but this is to help alleviate some of your work tension," He simply responded.

Yulia nods as she sits on the couch. "Thank you."

She looks into the cup and then gives him a sad look, "Milk."

Nodding she lets go of her aunt and sits down at the table with Juhi to wait for the others.

Priya smiles and nods. "Indeed it is growing."

"What would you like me to do with that?" Kierk asks Rhadaya.

"Would it be possible to make this into a pendant? Sort of suspended in a silver cage." the sorceress asks.

"Aren't you the same person who's always telling me I don't need to take on everything by myself? We all have a lot weighing donw on us and a lot that we take responsibility for, but we don't have to do it alone. Consider this. If something had happened to you, what do you think our response would be? We would pick up and go after whatever was responsible and not stop until it was dead and you were okay. Do you think that given that, I'd even remember the ship?" the magus asks.

"Consider that if that happened, the same people you were worried about helping would be left without ever knowing why no help came."

With a smile, Kama stands up then reaches down to take Elena hands, leaning back to pull her beloved up.

"Alright, just keep them out of sight for now and don't let Gwen see them when she wakes up." She says.

She looks down again after being quiet for a minute or so as she listens to Sadhana before saying, "I know I'm not alone...not really...and I know I don't have to do stuff on my own...but sometimes I get caught up in trying to get stuff done and just don't think about it. That's just the simple truth of it. I was thinking about a million different things and everything I had to do and what I was gonna get for Michael and Jelks since she wants the ceremony tomorrow evening and yes...I know I forgot to tell all of you about that as well...but then I was thinking about Daphine and her baby and my brother and the Anizari and maybe Konstantyna is right and it is never ending...but I would rest better later on if I did everything now in my power to make sure that it's safe later...wouldn't I? Am I wrong for not wanting to just lay around while everyone puts their lives and the lives of those that they love on the line to protect what I've been trying to protect since before most of you were even thought about being conceived? You want to have children with Ylrhea right? What wouldn't you do to make sure that this place...our home...is as safe as possible before you do that? How much do you want that for the people that we are trying to save? I don't know what drives me to do the things that I do...but I wasn't raised to be a lazy layabout that expects other people to take on everything for me while I sit around and do nothing...I just...I don't mean to sound wrong or whatever...I just don't know how to do that Sadhana...how am I supposed to be happy with a sword when my brother is out there lost somewhere? Trapped or something and doesn't even want me to look for him? I have so much stuff going on in my head can you understand how I might forget to mention things like running a message to some people that I thought were just outside of town a little ways instead of four hours away? I just feel like...like I'm running in circles most of the time. At least that's what it feels like in my head when I just can't shut out stuff...even when I sleep it's there. It's not that I don't trust you guys to deal with stuff...I just don't know how to not fight and kill evil bastards and save people that need saving. I've never been good at that, and I don't know how to just be a person anymore Sadhana...I really don't think I do." She says as she doesn't even appear to notice the tears that are running down her cheeks.

Taking a few breaths she says, "Maybe...but the help would come because I already talked to the captain and the refugees and the ship is setting out for them at first tide in the morning and thirty-five adults and ten teenagers are gonna be on it. Even if I hadn't made it to Priroda....the captain would have left and gotten them. I'm not trying to be dismissive about your feelings or what you're saying because you matter to me...everyone matters to me and I know I take on too much sometimes...but when I'm in the middle of it I'm not thinking practically most of the time...I'm just thinking of what I need to do to get it done. I know it may seem like I have a death wish...but I don't...I'm just doing the best I can to keep it together right now and make sure we don't make any more mistakes like we did in Malwen...I don't want people to suffer because of me. I don't know...maybe I'm just too tired to think about things clearly." She lets out another sigh, "Maybe Esme is right...maybe I do need a babysitter." Taking her waterskin back out of the bag of holding that she brought with her she takes a few drinks from it and tries to calm the shaking she feels.

"That's some delicate work," Kierk says. "It'll be about a week before it's done."

"Are they really that scary? I guess you're right I'll have them wait out back then." Fae responds giving the remaining spirits the command to wait outside and keep out of sight.

"I should be done with the spell in about an hour and if the Vanth don't find her by then they'll be back for further instruction." She informs her sister.

"I appreciate it, just let me know how much." Rhadaya says with a smile.

”I understand. I’ve seen veterans, old men who’ve been fighting less than a third of how log you’ve been at it who try to retire and have no idea what to do with themselves. Some of them drive everyone around them crazy, others run off with a deathwish off to battle increasing threats until they die in battle. But the well adjusted ones…they find a way to redirect it. Some become guards ar guides or trainers. The point is, you need to stop thinking of not being out in the field as sitting around doing nothing, because I guarantee it won’t be.” she switched the reins to one hand to put an arm around her sister’s shoulder.

”You need to realize something Arista. That baby inside you si just as real as the things we need to be out there fighting. The family you have at home….what’s the point to making thing safe for them if they have to be without you? You took Celine in because she needed a mom, let her at least have that for a little while. Trust us to keep on the good fight out there, we’re trusting you to make sure we all have a home to come back to. We all have an important part to play and right now Valwick needs you.”

Kay...I gotta go back and edit my response because I just sorta thought of something else...dammit.

"We'll give you some space until then." Cyna says before returning to the others outside her home.

With Sadhana's arm around her the resolve that she had been trying so hard to maintain and failing miserably at completely crumbles as she puts her arms around Sadhana and sobs, "I'm sorry I've been so...so stupid. I just don't think sometimes...and it's hard to see...the big picture with...with all this other stuff...going on. Konstantyna said that I was putting too much stress on my body on top of what the baby was doing...she...she said the ring wasn't a substitute...for taking care of me...and the baby...and now...now I'm underweight. I didn't know what to do...and Alethia was...sticking up for me at first...but...but then she started saying how...how there were others...and everyone thinks I need to stop and how it's for the best....but...but I don't know...I'm scared...scared of losing other people who mean as much to me as this baby does. I can't lose anyone else sis....I just can't..." Not knowing what else to say or how to get out what she's feeling or thinking, she just holds onto Sadhana while she sobs.

Sienna looks at Cyna. "Everything alright in there? Pandi left with some of the others to go bring Arista home."

"Ah'll give ye a final total when Ah finish," Kierk says, taking the stone.

Elena huffs as she stands upright. "I don't care how I feel. I can't lay down all day. Thank you, beloved."

"We should be fine. They're not ghosts but they're also not not ghosts.... anyway we'll have our kitchen back in an hour or so. Where did Arista go?" she asks.

"Priroda," Sienna answers. "To take care of that unfinished business with the dark dwarves."

"So can I ask my question now?" Pandi asks from the wagon.

"On her own? I'd be surprised if she'll be able to sit down after they bring her back." Cyna responds with a laugh.

Sienna shrugs. "Can't be too mad at her. It's another thing we don't have to try and figure out, I suppose. I like having one less thing to worry about, personally."

She wraps her arms around Cyna. "It gives me more time to think about other things."

"Alwaysss, as long asss you resst from time to time." Kāma says with a smile.

Elena holds on to Kāma for support as they head downstairs. "I will try."

"I like to think about other things too." Cyna says returning the embrace. "Just not when we're surrounded by the souls of the departed."

Okay...I don't want to favorite that because I feel like...I don't know...but it's funny. Not like I wasn't scared of that myself. Lol It feels like it was kinda at my expense...but since I escaped that fate I guess it's alright.

Hearing Pandi in the back she tries to regain some semblance of control over herself as she nods her head, "Yyeah...sure...sorry."

Sādhanā holds onto Arista as she lets it all out. She understood completely. It was easy to face down dragons, demons and unspeakable horrors beyond imagination,but this... a normal life...problems that couldn't be handled with sword and spell were terrifying in an entirely different way.

"I promise you that as long as it's within my power, I'll bring everybody home. And you know that I don't let anything stand in my way." the magus says softly after Arista calms down a bit.

"Sure Pandi."

I came close....so very close....but different people respond to different things and since I didn't know her as well as the others I thought better of it...besides...I haven't been exactly rational lately either and have enough of my own explaining to do. It's just when you said "wouldn't be able to sit down" that's the first place my head goes to. Sore ass=not sitting for a while which means you think twice about doing something so reckless again...but then again...I'm not her family and this was something for family to deal with. I was out of control though when I was younger and so that's why Kaplan had to have such a firm hand...maybe that's why I reacted the way I did. Meh...don't know. I'm pretty sure the point was made at any rate. Lol

In the end I just felt like I didn't have the right to, or I would have seriously taken my belt to her. If she had gotten defensive or even thought about some smart ass remark...that's exactly what I would have done. It's just how I roll. LOL

Edited: I take that back...I won't take off my belt because it's a studded leather belt of giant strength, but I won't hesitate to go buy a simple leather belt for the sole purpose of wearing your hide out next time.
