Here, in Planescape (with appended Golarion deities) they exist as in Planescape. This is DnD to me still after all these years. ;)

Just want to shout out to all of you (DMB included) that this is an awesome adventure. I admit I found it a little rocky at first, but our characters are finally bonding. Which is, I guess, how an group works over time. Well done all!!!

I have t agree with Yess, we're getting along pretty naturally :)

I am having loads of fun with Midioto. I love his excitable nature and his boundless curiosity and how his personality developed into an easygoing entity that easilly and eagerly makes friends and accepts people. I also love how he rarely has a "Fixed Position."
(even tho it sometimes makes it difficult to figure out where the heck anyone is after a round or two of teleporting >.> POP! XD

Especially liking how his connection with Thomas and De is developing :)

...I was commenting on the fact that many cats have particularly negative reactions to getting wet. Not the actual PF skill rules.

hey guys, for the time being, i'm going to have to take a leave of absance. i've had some really upsetting events happen recently and just can't deal with everything. its gotten to the point where i just started crying in the middle of math. i'm not sure when i'll be back, but i'll try to keep an eye on events as they progress. i intend to find a reason to shereshoy (lust for life) again before i come back, so it may take a while.

No worries Dee. Life can surely be a struggle, and finding a way through is not always easy. Let me know if there is anything you need IRL - we are in the same country if that's any help…

Oh, and crying in the middle of maths was my normal until I dropped it for Year 11/12. ;p. When I got a mere 2% in the moderator/year 10 exam my mum asked me if I even spelled my name right - I returned immediately - "That isn't Maths, that's English!"

the internet atmy place has be incredibly bad since it last snowed... I have been struggling to get anything done the last few days that requires internet. Ive been ducking in and out of tim hortons today XD

Also, how did you manage to do a spoiler in a spoiler??? Ive been trying to do that for a year and still havnt gotten the trick...

Remember not that long ago when I had to take a leave because of depression? during that time you guys were patent with me and willing to allow me to come back, if/when I was ready. no pressure. That was a comfortable release for me as it allowed me to really focus on my life. As such I extend the same to you :)
More then I care about the cat you created for an online game, I care for the friend I am bonding to through the interent. I will be praying for you and know well how life can throw curveballs.

That's good to hear. Feel free to play De as much or as little as you are comfortable with. She hasn't been separated from the group since you left (they barely moved at all...), so there isn't anything in-character to 'catch up' on.

woops! yeah i have been absorbed into ArcheAge and havent been checking the boards more than once per day. i delayed on that recruitment because i was basically copying a character i had already made and just changing the race to human, adding a feat, and adjusting ability scores to match the recruitment.

Expect minimal posting in the next couple of days from me. Because Life.

I am kind of confused here. I had posted that Mundarion was standing near the outer door (where we fought the zombies) asking people if they wanted to get a shot from the resist cold wand. Then Mundarion had to make a Reflex save, and now apparently he got thrown into the inner room without ever having even tried to open a door.

So, if nothing else I need to know how many wand charges got used protecting people. Or get some confirmation that the room (s) warmed up enough that such protection isn't needed now.

Everyone has protection from the wand (you had more than enough time to use it on everyone.)

and I realize I should really make a map for this encounter. I'll go do that....

I'm also confused. I thought we were at the door to the inner ice room, the door we have nt opened yet. But you mention the roo being the same size as we remember it?!? Is this the room where the ice zombies came from? I thought we fought them at the edge of their room/in the doorway of the large chamber that had:

A: The big wooden door to upstairs
B: The secret door to the plantomaton "Vyrellis" trap and
C: the "outer" icy door that led to the pillar'd chamber containing ice zombies.

I thought Trathkul was behind the "inner" icy door, the door that we had to reach by travelling through the cold expanse of the pillar'd room.

So are we at the "inner" door? And has the fog enveloped the pillar'd room or Trathkul's room?

I was also confused as to how Mundarion got thrown before he posted that he tried to open the door. It appears I was wrong:

Mundarion leads the group to the outer door to the cold area and gets the wand out to protect whoever wants it from the freezing conditions inside.

Emphasis mine...

And:

Red is the large (warm) room you were just in. Everyone but Mundarion is in one of those spots. Grey is the fog. It covers the whole room, and the map is roughly in the shape that you remember the room being in (since it didn't have any fog last time you opened the door...strange?:)

So we ARE in/on the edge of the pillar'd room. How did Trathkul break out of the inner room?!? Dun dun dun!!!

Just as a heads-up - I'll be intermittently available over the next 48 hours. Will post as I can...

Both Thomas and Midio seem to have vanished again. I hope Midio isn't back in depression land.

Yep. It's Thomas' turn, although Midio would probably have at least a verbal reaction to the thing De and Midio can see (you don't need to bot that part, though).

Although, this is more a puzzle than a normal encounter, so strict initiative order isn't as important.
