Hey guys! I just got back from an ill-timed hospital visit (I could not access a computer while I was there). I will be catching up on things and making substantive posts to all my games this evening.

So, thanks to the wonder that is Telstra as an ISP, i have been without the net for days, and for about a few weeks after this. I'll have one post today, then i'll try to use public wifi hotspots to get in a few more till the net is back up. Sorry about the inconvenience guy.

I will be on a business trip from Monday through Wednesday. I might have time to post updates, and I might not (I'm not sure). I'll be back Thursday.

More health issues now, but different and not nearly as bad as two months ago. I ought to be up and functioning again in the next couple days.

I had an accident at work. Tripped, fell, and came down hard on my right side. Now I have one cracked rib and a bruised muscle in my upper arm. Fortunately nothing requiring medical intervention, but it hurts like heck and my right arm is of minimal use until the muscle gets better. Hopefully we are talking about days not weeks for the arm, but the rib could take a while. :-(

FYI: The website I was using to store the Splinter of K's character sheet (and Sorjla's character sheet, but not Hozela's) crashed Sunday, came back briefly yesterday, and appears to have crashed again today. I'm now working on recreating K's character sheet on my computer, which I have more confidence in. Until then, I'll be going from memory on some of the stats of both K and Sorjla. (Well, part memory, and part scrolling back through the thread to see what bonuses I used for them before).

Fortunately, most of the campaign notes that I have that are harder to recreate are safe on my computer.

That sucks. Hope you get it all back DMB!

Update: the website came back, and has Sorjla's character sheet. It remembers that I had the Splinter of Karavakos saved there, and it correctly remembers the combination of creature/added hit-dice/templates, but when I try to load that sheet it gives me an error. I have successfully recreated K's sheet on my laptop, in a format I trust (and it's backed up to my Carbonite account in the event my laptop fails). I have not yet recreated Sorjla's character sheet, but I'm in the process of doing that (I can still see the original file on the unreliable website, at least).

'course, if Sorjla dies from poison, it might not matter:D

On an unrelated note, if you win this fight, I think y'all ought to level up at the end of it.

As for me, I'm not out of the woods yet, but look there's an update after nearly a week of absence on my part.

Alright, Yessai may know what i mean when i say Telstra internet is bad as it gets at times. Workplace internet been down for close to a month so i've been relying on the small prepaid setup they had here - which ran out a couple of weeks ago and Telstra wasn't in a hurry to replace it. We're looking at about 2-3 weeks till the actual internet is back up, so i'll try to keep bouncing off public wifi hotspots to post till then. Much apologies for that

Okay, I know I've been quiet lately, but here is the gist of what's happened with me:

The good news: the issue with my family has been resolved.

The other good news: a big craze of events at work has also been resolved, and in a way that is good for me. I am in a much more secure position financially than I was a week ago (or a year ago, for that matter).

The bad news: while my personal health is better, it's still not great.

The medium news: I'll be taking a few months off from work to get healthy.

The other bad news: I have to make a nine hour car drive tomorrow, during which time I won't be checking my laptop (or the Paizo.com forums), though I'll hopefully have time to post tomorrow evening.

I'll try to post an actual update to this game later tonight....

ack, i wasnt gonna join any more games but eberron is my kryptonite. i will probably be submitting.

it is my bedtime now, so i only skimmed the post but will read more into it tomorrow.

who are your three remaining active characters (or more importantly to me, what races/classes do you have already in the party?)

I was thinking of perhaps an artificer, do you use this version or another? and since it is sarlona, i was thinking something along the lines of a psionic artificer.

it's just the beginnings of an idea though, and i could go some other ways.

An Elemental Scion also appeals to me, though i could foresee some issues with the class based on how expensive its needs are in terms of GP.

Or, if your game features primarily above-ground adventure, a Windwright Captain might be a lot of fun.
