Stinging from the beasts attacks Dao goes on the offensive unleashing a quick flurry of attacks at the lizard, it is obvious that she is a bit surprised by what she faces.

Female Human Druid 7

Hearing Selyne's warning, and acting quickly, Tsu tells Kiara to "Defend"

Initiative check 1d20 ⇒ 18

Tsu casts the alrady prepared spell, entangle Reflex save DC 15 to avoid on the group of lizards.

Knowing that all to well that her companion is larger and tougher than normal tigers, Tsu then casts magic fang on Kiara and tells her to "Attack."

Battle explanation for Kiara:

Pounce[ex] at nearest enemy creature

Attacks:

claw 1: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (9) + 11 = 20 Damage: 1d8 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11
claw 2: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (4) + 11 = 15 Damage: 1d8 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14
bite: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8 Damage: 2d6 + 5 ⇒ (4, 5) + 5 = 14

Improved Grab: Grapple 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (11) + 15 = 26
Rake 1: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (10) + 11 = 21 Damage: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12
Rake 2: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (3) + 11 = 14 Damage: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7

Db3: I was a little unsure about the whole full attack thing and the rake ability, but this should be correct, if not then just disregard anything that is incorrect and I am sorry in advance.

I am sorry for the delay.

Kiara manages to to grab the strange lizard-creature, slashing away with her powerful claws. The lizard squels in pain as it struggles to break free, but alas, it is no match for the ferocious feline.

Selyne's whip glances off the creature's tough hide, and it looks at her, feral intelligence gleaming in it's eyes...

[i]Dao doesn't have much more luck than Slyne, her momentary shock at the lizard's appearance affecting her aim.[i]

Exploring your cave, you find a small tunnel. Something about it drives you to explore, almost like you know it's important. As you move deeper into the tunnel, you enter a large area. At least, that's what you think, since you can no longer spread your arms and touch rock.

"This is why I say fight from trees!" Selyne calls grumpily to her companions.

Having at least range on the beast, as well as taking one creature's eyes off Dao, Selyne's free hand sketches symbols in the air as her minds eye casts a spell, Mage Armor, her other arm flexing as she recoils the whip for another strike.

Pretty much hold the physical action this round, the better to cast the Mage Armor spell and maybe get a bonus against Lizard-lips if it decides to attack me next round.
Will get in touch with Tsu's player asap and let them both see the state of play and get a reply in for them.

Male Human Rogue3/ Swashbuckler3/ fighter1

Marco search his sack and pull out a sunrod and strikes it against the floor, making it glow brightly. He squints his eyes and look around the cave.
Perception 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (3) - 1 = 2

sunrod

Spoiler:
This 1-foot-long, gold-tipped, iron rod glows brightly when struck. It clearly illuminates a 30-foot radius and provides shadowy illumination in a 60-foot radius. It glows for 6 hours, after which the gold tip is burned out and worthless.

F Human Monk7

Taking advantage of the distraction Dao strikes at the lizard, a quick punch that the perceptive reptile manages to avoid. Not so with the spinning back kick that follows. The blow connects soundly with the lizard's head rattling its brain.

1d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (2, 2) + 1 = 5
1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (4, 5) + 1 = 10

2nd attack is a stunning fist attempt DC16

Female Human Druid 7

Knowing that her companion is quite well off on her own in battle, Tsu draws her scimitar and prepares to defend herself against these large predators.
Fighting defensively, AC is now 20 = 10 + 6(Armour) + 2(shield) + 2(defensive)

Kiara still on attack command attacks the nearest creature.

Kiara:
Claw: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (19) + 11 = 30 Damage: 1d8 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9
Improved Grab(Ex) as free action
Grapple: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (19) + 15 = 34
Rake: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (10) + 11 = 21 Damage: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7

Still having internet troubles, my telephone company hates me, sorry.

Kiara mauls the reptile with ease, killing it quickly.

Dao's kick strikes true, but the creatures just shakes it's head and attacks again. But only one of it's talons manage to cut into her.

Attacks on Dao:
1st Talon:1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 201d8 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9
2nd Talon:1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 151d8 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10
Bite:1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 121d6 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7
Foreclaws:1d20 + 0 ⇒ (14) + 0 = 141d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Marco

You find little except a layer of dust that seem to cling even to the walls.

"Barrak! Guess what? I think my lizard can fly! It just needs to get high enough! Is there a tower here? We can totally go flying together! I'll get you a lizard and we can fly around the valley and chase rats and bugs and butterflies! Oh and did I tell you? Beer CAN burn! And it makes the prettiest color flames!"

Elf, Ranger: 4, Sorceres: 1

Selyne winces again as one of the two remaining lizards scores Dao's flesh. Having finished casting her Mage armor upon her self, Last round , Selyne casts 'Animate rope' upon the second whip entwined about her waist, grasping the en-spelled object's hilt in her off hand as it uncoils fluidly form her body.

Now, with a length of snaking, serrated leather in each hand she prepares to lash out at the beasts that have the temerity to attack 'her' companions.

Sorry I can't make an attack this round, don't have the actions/time left. :(
Next round? Bring it

Selyne wrote:

I was saving the T-Rex for later but, if you really want me to bring it..

Jimpy and Barrack, I apoligize for the lack of gaming for you. Here is something for you.

As you leave the brewery, you see a lot of people running around. In the middle of it all, Seelie can be seen shouting out orders in a dizzying array of languages. Everyone seems panicked and scared.

"Ooo! Ooo! Ooo! Why's everyone running? Is it a party? Is it a race? I bet I can win!"

Male Dwarf Barbarian 7

"Come on Jimpy, let's see what all the panic is about." Turning towards Seelie he shouts, "What's going on? Anything we can help with?"

"Can you turn back time and stop an egg from hatching? Someone, we do not know who, managed to sneak into Agartha's Hatchery with an egg. Normally that isn't a big deal, people bring eggs in all the time. But this egg is different from the ones we keep. It was a Rex egg, belonging to one of the largest carnivores on the island, and now it has hatched here."

"Really?!? It's big! How big? Can I pet it? Does it like to play fetch? Can it give me a ride? Can I attach wands to its head so it can shoot fire from its eyes? Is that a cake? Let's go! Which way is the Hatchery?"

Male Dwarf Barbarian 7

"I take it this is a bad thing, but how tough could a baby predator be? I'm sure Jimpy here alone could burn the thing to ashes before it could pose any real threat."

"We wouldn't dare. It is not the baby Rex we worry about, but the fact the parents always get it back, no matter where it is. They will get in here, and all we can do is hope we can get these people to safety quickly. Jimpy, please stay away from the Hatchery."

He continues shouting out orders to the people who continue running around like goblins being chased by horses and dogs.

Db3: im assuming that the creatures aren't standing in the same 10 ft square, so i will post Kiara's attacks as if she was charging at the final creature. If i am wrong, then just apply the first claw, grapple and first rake attack.

Tsu sees the girl get sliced by the reptilian predator and yells to Kiara "Attack, Kiara!"

Kiara charges at the creature, a threatening roar filling the large cat's lungs, almost as if the large cat were challenging this reptile derictly.

Tsu moves towards the still unidentified woman, noting a large heavy gash on her body.

"if you come over here, i will heal you, but in return i ask your name please."

Tsu pulls out a wand and awaits the woman's reply.

Elf, Ranger: 4, Sorceres: 1

Selyne watches Tsu move towards the still unidentified woman.

"If you come over here, I will heal you, but in return i ask your name please." She hears Tsu say, though Selyne is still standing entranced by the display of power that is Kiara. Her stillness lasts but a moment as she regains her composure, striding towards Dao and Tsu as her whips writhe and coil abut her waist as if living things.

With out waiting for a reply Selyne reaches into her quiver and draws forth a scroll tube, but upon opening the case it is not parchment but a potion vial that slides forth.

Hands Dao a potion of 'Cure Light Wounds'

"Here, drink." Selyne says thrusting the potion vial into Dao's hands even as she draws one of her short swords. Looking to Tsu she says simply,

"Come! The quicker we clean, carve and dress the meat the sooner we regain the safety of the trees and the quicker I can lead us to a place to wash. No sense in making ourselves a more noticeable meal than we have to." So saying Selyne lithely crouches and begins to butcher one of the smaller lizards, leaving the larges kill for Kiara's feasting. As she works Selyne slices off a small piece of meat and begins to chew happily upon the raw fillet, humming contentedly a she works.

Marco makes a short whistle and says "It's perfect. Small entrance, big living room."

He hang his sunrod from a rope and starts preparing the bird, with the new silver knife he found in the nest.
He then makes a fire and start roasting the meat, not giving a thought to what or who could spot the smoke.

F Human Monk7

Dao looks at the women, warmed by the ease with which they offer healing.

"Thank you both," she replies, placing her hands together and bowing slightly.

"I am Dao."

She drinks the proffered potion, but does not reject the other woman's offer of healing.

Barrak laughs heartily and shouts after Jimpy, hopefully before he gets too far out of earshot.

"Jimpy get back here, we need to kill something bigger!"

Kiara's attack finishes the last creature off, with no doubt that it has any chance of still being alive.

Carving the large lizard is easy, considering they have already been opened by a tiger's claws and fangs. A few of the vital organs are intact, the rest are badly cut.

Off in the distance, a loud, rumbling roar echoes. It is a roar Selyne knows well...

Selyne:
Angry tyrannosaurs.

Selyne freezes for an instant and the other two women cannot help but see the surprise and even perhaps fear upon her features. She completely abandons what she is doing with her kill, standing swiftly she says,

"Big lizards come, very bad. We run now." Her words are delivered swiftly as she looks about for trees that will put the four of them above the reach of the oncoming monsters,

"Because if we give them back the egg they will also want whoever took it in the first place, and since no one wants to die in the jaws of a carnosaur, no one will say they did it. If they take it back, and destroy some of our home in the process, they tend to leave without eating someone."

You here an incredable loud roar from outside your small cave, and dust fall from the ceiling as the ground itself shakes. You think very big and very angry is close to you and getting closer, if the intensity of the shaking is any indication.

Hidden as you are within your cave, you see two huge reptilian creatures thunder past, followed by several smaller creatures. All of them are heading in one single direction.

"There is one thing that ol' Seelie hasn't thought of yet." Says a voice behind. Turning, you see a young man looking at you with a smile on his face. Despite the panic that continues around him, he seems strangely calm.

"You can always take the hatchling and run as fast as you can. Once you are far enough away, let it go and keep running."

'Huge birds, huge lizzards. Is everything on this island huge? Wait a second.. Or am I smaller?'

When they are past him he will run after them, staying at a safe distance.

"Selyne, um, quick question before we scarper, would smaller predators, hunters, run toward a sound like that normally?"

Turning to Dao, Tsu explains briefly their situation.

"Kiara and I are stranded on this island, probably like yourself, and Selyne here is a native, seeing the size of those creatures, I would assume that there is something that eats them, and is probably bigger than they are. I am following Selyne, mainly because she knows this area and she knows where is relatively safe, but if you wish to stick with us, I can't speak for Selyne, but Kiara and I would feel a lot safer having a melee fighter along with us."

Turning to Selyne adn really noticing the fear in her eyes, Tsu decides that she and Kiara should go with Selyne now and not ask questions.

Tsu calls to Kiara "Come!" and follows after Selyne.

F Human Monk7

Dao draws in a long deep breath as the wounds on her body close, rent skin reknitting itself woundrously.

"I understand, and I will join your flight from this place. I appreciate your welcom and am honored to join you. Thank you for healing me."

Elf, Ranger: 4, Sorceres: 1

"No more talk. RUN!" So saying Selyne does just that.

Okay, figuring that the smaller lizards are running towards the bigger monsters, that gives us a vector on which way they are coming from. So Selyne will plot a course away from the beasts roar, but with a 45 degree angle away from the smaller creatures path as well. Now, if that puts us on a course with the Gnomish mole hill of a mountain? *shrug*

Okay, left turn it is! *salutes DM*

Selyne glances over a shoulder, noting the direction the roaring is coming from and angles the direction of her flight away from the looming mountain before her. She does not slow in her flight through the foliage.

"Big...lizards...come...now!" She shouts between panting breaths, "We..avoid..their...anger...must, run faster!" She shouts out to her new companions

"Okay, time to run, Dao, lets get away from here."
