History:
Tsu Kaori was born in a small hamlet in the middle of nowhere, by the name of Tanglewood Hollow. She grew up with her 2 brothers, Mika and Aphi, and her loving mother, Sheira. Tsu always wanted to be a mage, but unfortunately, there was nobody who practised wizardry or sorcery, and she showed as much arcane talent as a house cat. She spent many years in her youth trying to find a niche to exist in, until she turned 16, that’s when she met Darius Lightmane, a high spirited elf with strong ties to the natural world. Seeing that Tsu showed promise in Druidism, he chose to teach her, taking her under his wing for 3 good years, eventually loving Darius like the father she never had. Tsu travelled with him on all his adventures, eventually finding her Kiara, a tiger cub, learning all there was to know about nature, and learning to love nature like it was an extension of her own self, excelling in the arts of Druidism, Tsu thought that these days will last forever, but this was not the case. Tsu never liked the idea of having to always stay in one place, a grove was what Darius called it, she had other plans, she wanted to see all the forests of the world, walk through all the swamps, and even climb every mountain. Eventually Darius gave into Tsu’s persistence, and allowed her to go out into the world to experience all the nature she could find, but made one condition, he would supervise the expedition personally, to make sure that Tsu didn’t get into trouble or worse, get herself killed. Shortly after setting out, the two stopped in a small city to replenish what could not be found in the wild, when Darius was recognised by a disgruntled Half Orc who attacked him on site. Easily dispensing witht the attacker, Darius was arrested and tried for manslaughter, found guilty, the judicial system sentenced him to pay recompence ot the hurt party, or if they were not available, his surviving heir. Not understanding why her teacher was going along with this facade, Tsu decided to investigate further into the matter, and found that her apparent teacher had a run in with a few of the locals of this town a year before he took her under his wing. He had foudn out that the locals of this town were slaughtering animals that came within 100 yards of the town, claiming that the animals would spread disease without researching this proposterous claim or alerting the appropriate parties who would be involved. Namely Darius, whos grove was about 5 miles away from this town. Angered by the lack of compassion, Tsu decided that Darius had done nothing wrong, he had only encountered a drunken party of Half Orcs, who had decided that the reasoning behind their animal problmes was the local Druid, and so he had to be removed. Darius was not entirely at fault, the Half Orcs had decided that owning the town meant that they in turn owned all surrounding lands to a distance of 10 miles, but Darius informed the Half Orcs that they were entitled to only 5 miles. The Half Orcs didnt take too kindly to this tree hugger telling them about the law, bolstered by fake courage and plenty of drink, they attacked, and Darius in turn defended himself and his grove, but he inadvertendly killed all but one of the attackers. Whilst Darius was paying his recompence by working for the family for free for a year, Tsu stayed with him, allowing herself to get to know the town better and better with each passing month. After a while, Tsu noticed a pattern forming, the amount of animals encroaching on the town’s limits grew more and more each week. Wondering if something was amis, Tsu looked into this phenomenon further, finding that an evil druid was luring the animals to the town, so that he may make more profit for his tanning business. Tsu took matters into her own hands and attacked the evil druid, killing him, but taking some good hits on her part. She was unable to move after the battle, and was arrested for murder of the first degree. The evil druid, as she found out suring the trial, was a member of the local council, and she had just committed a tremendous crime in the eyes of the public. Not having any Capital Punishment laws, the judicial system of the town sentenced her to life inprisonment, but would not disclose the location of her place of incarceration. Being taken blindfolded and tied up in her sleep; Tsu awoke to find herself beign dragged onto a ship. She could not gauge the amount of time she had spent on the water, but it could not have been that long, as they had not fed her, but had given her water, and she had not starved to death yet. Eventually she was picked up and taken to what was obviously a smaller boat; she was thrown onto a sandy beach. Eventually getting up and getting the ropes off, Tsu noticed that her equipment was still on her, as well as her bag. Listneing further she could make out slight moans and growls, as if a large creature was tied up aongside her. Taking off her blindfold, she saw that the majestic Kiara was tied up and dumped unceremoniously on the beach alongside her. Tsu now wonders what this island is, and what life has instore for her now...
