Seeing Marianna Fall as she runs ahead Ebert thinks on his feet and reaches down touching Marianna's shoulder and whispering a small blessing of The Inheritor "Iomedae guide your child." a faint blue light envelopes Marianna and she feels that Iomedae is with her able to help her actions. Use Minor Blessing on Marianna

Thinking it best to get Marianna out of her current predicament Ebert pulls a rope from his pack and starts to lower it down to her bracing himself so she may climb back up.

Juis can hear the fighting going on ahead of him, unfortunately the enemy is out of his sight. (Only has 30' vision.) He looks down at the pit and knows he won't be able to cross the pit without a rope to avoid hurting himself.
Juis just stands there helpless.

Fearing that the goblins will get away with pit barrier, Duncan gets a bit of a running start then leaps the pit with apparent ease. Landing on the other side, he fires his bow at Blue, at whom he has a clear LOS currently.
As the arrow flies true and hits with meathy "thock", Duncan grins, happy with his success.

Okay, I'm in a pit, is there anything that I need to do aside from a climb check to get out? You mentioned slime mold... is that an ooze that I have to fight with, or just something cushioning my fall?

Distracted by Nylthe's whip, Aconite is easily able to claw apart the remaining goblin. The current threat eliminated, you make your way back to the pit trap and pick up Juis from the pit as well as helping the others cross without falling in themselves.
As a group you round the first corner and you see three side halls and the main hallway continuing around a bend.
The 4 options are labeled with a color for ease of identification...

Juis thanks the group for helping him get across the pit while checking to see if anyone is injured.
When the group rounds the corner, he gives some advice. "We know there are goblins down here and they can be tricky. So perhaps we check each path we come across before passing it so we don't get ambushed from behind."
Recommend Green path first.

"I can move quietly, I just can't see in the dark," says Duncan with a shrug. "Me in the front will require a light source which just gives us a way. Not sure if any of you can see in the dark well enough to go ahead. If not, give me light and we'll start clearing this place until we find the boss goblin."
Unless someone else is more skilled, Duncan will take point with his longbow in hand.

That will change as I level up. Eventually to 60' and then to 120'. But not now.

Slowly, the group creeps down the main hall, Duncan leading from the front. He peeks once, twice, three times into the first room, then breathes a sigh of relief.
This room contains equipment for the guild’s goblins to practice their thieving skills including several human-sized training dummies covered with bells for pickpocketing and an obstacle course studded with sharp nails and jagged junk.

Duncan will give the room another once over, quickly. If there is nothing more to be seen here, he will lead the others to the red dot place, looking carefully around the corner before proceeding.

The guild’s goblin thieves sleep here when not out scavenging and stealing. Smelly bedding, moldy food, and rubbish lie scattered about.
The door to the north in the room clearly leads to a back entrance to the sewers.

Marianna shakes her head at Ebert's comment, by continues down the hall after Duncan. "All that matters is that they don't come up behind us and catch us unaware. Last thing that I want to deal with is getting caught from behind," she flatly states as she eyes down the hall past the third doorway.

Disappointed with the lack of anything spectacular in the last two rooms you checked out, you have little hope for finding anything good in the next one. But..... Ebert takes a peak in....
The ceiling of this room has partially collapsed, creating a two story space to the west while exposing the chamber above to the east. Rubble lies haphazardly about the place, with some other larger pieces serving as tabletops for crude alchemical apparatuses. Soot, scorch marks, and other chemical residues cover many of the chamber’s walls and other surfaces. A sizable slab of jagged debris leans against the broken edge of the upper level’s floor in the room’s center. The upper level seems clear of wreckage and contains several wooden worktables. Opposite the entrance, a set of stone steps that once rose to the upper level are broken away halfway up their length. The whole chamber smells of burnt oil and acrid chemicals.
Ebert thinks he sees movement from at least 2 creatures, probably goblins, if not more....
I will continue when everyone has stacked themselves outside the door ready to enter...

Duncan presses himself against the hallway wall, bow ready, behind Aconite, ready to rush into the breach. "Goblins with chemicals. That can't be good," he whispers as he passes the others.

This old storage area was once used to house hazardous alchemical supplies, and now serves the Nightsoil Marauders as an alchemical laboratory. The ceiling in the upper level to the east is 10 feet high, while the open area to the west is roughly 22 feet high. The rubble workbenches stand around 2 feet high.
Creatures can reach the upper level by climbing up the stone slab with a successful DC 20 Climb check or by jumping for the top of the broken stairs with a successful DC 12 Acrobatics check followed by a successful DC 15 Climb check to pull oneself up. Creatures who beat the Acrobatics DC by 20 or more land on the upper level and don’t need to make the Climb check to pull themselves up.
