Thought I had posted. Yup, Koy is going to keep shooting bolts in the general direction of the combat. There is always a rare chance she might hit something.

Mary stands behind Vis with her spear hoping to help him from taking any more damage. She thrusts with her long spear trying to keep the ogre off balance and from landing a powerful blow on Vis.
Four stone pillars support the roof of this large hall. What appear
to have once been wooden cages lie in shambles throughout
the room. A heap of rags and furs in the middle of the room
seems to be some sort of makeshift bed, while a large heap
of partially eaten birds, squirrels, and wild turnips mounded
nearby reeks with the stink of compost.

Shiori retrieves her daggers, and glances around the room. "Well, if this room was a little cleaner, it might not be a bad spot, only two ways in or out seems pretty defensible."

Mary looks at the area briefly and nods she is ready to move on, at least till the next room. After that perhaps she will mention that they take a respite and regroup somewhere else.

The one on the left side of the room we just opened. And on my phone won't let me edit it. Which is weird cause its an android phone. I just think its too old lol. Freaks out every time I go to try to edit.
Rotting, faded banners hang from the walls of this long hall,
depicting a stylized castle sitting on a seaside cliff. Thick stone
pillars support the ceiling, while at the far end of the hall sits an
old wooden throne, its back carved to resemble the towers of a
castle wrapped in the coils of a serpentine dragon.
4 more of the bird men are romping about at the direction of a strange looking Tian man on the throne who is directing them

At the throne room with the 4 corbies and the king Mary nods her head in deference to the ruler of this place. Why thank you king kikonu for the offer but we have urgent business to attend to. A friend of ours is in trouble and we come seeking help. Perhaps after we get our friend help we would be able to join you in your merriment?

Sits and watches. His sword still bare. He detects evil on the "king" while he waits. He also muses over whether or not he really is the rightful ruler here.
Koy stands in the back and anxiously watches. To appear to be hidden, her form suddenly shimmers and where a tall human woman was standing, now a short halfling is there barely able to see over the human sized chairs.
Use Veil Point to shift form to that of a halfling.
Although not wanting to get involved, Koy realizes that the numbers are not on their side. Thus, she maneuvers forward until she is between Shiori and Vis, and a moment later a bright array of colored light springs forth from her fingers.
Init: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 1 = 19 <-- do I get to go before or after the charge?
If before, Koy will cast Silent Image to cause a stone wall to appear between the bad guys and Shiori/Vis. She will leave a single opening on the left hand side, where #5 is, so that the enemy can only come through and attack one at a time.
Standard: Cast Silent Image to create a wall - DC17 Will to disbelieve once they interact with it.
If I go after them, then I will attempt the same thing to place the wall across between the combatants.
I will also use 1 Veil Point to disguise my casting so that it appears as though I cast Mage Armor. DC19 Will to see through the deceptive casting.
Bah, I started planning on hitting them with Color Spray and then realized that I could not move and cast. Thus, I switched to casting Silent Image, which does not require a movement, to create a wall. Ignore the first paragraph about moving and casting Color Spray.
Although the second question remains, did I beat them on the Init in the surprise round? I did not see any rolls for Init, and did not know if I would have been able to cast before they acted/charged.
Do you still want to put the wall between them and the people they are attacking? I so I will give them a save right away. I will rule that interrupting their melee is onteraction
