The room was obviously a briefing room in the past, looking through some of the survigin papers it becomes obvious that the guards that were stationed here believed that a riot was coming from the town...and that the guards were preparing to go out and quell it...there is not evidence of what became of them.

Mary looks at the papers, Hmm that seems strange that the townsfolk would riot against the castle. Do you think that the rulers here now were the same back then as well? It would fit as the creatures here are not tht friendly or welcoming.

Head west to make sure there is nothing behind us before venturing further, if nothing there then the north east door to clear out the western half of this level of the castle.

mound in the center of this room.

A huge lizard charges out and attacks, the battle is short and sweet.

Mary expend one use of your healing and lets move on, it is a silly battle that is just a waste of two days of real time.

Why is it that every room we come in has foes of some type? It would be nice if just once we could talk to someone and explain what we need and barter our way through it instead of having to be reduced to violence....

Because any of virtue have long fled this place Mary. This is why it must be cleansed. Left here this rot would fester and grow. Then at some point it would threaten somewhere else. The heroes find nothing of use and make there way into the next area T17 on the map

Old tapestries depicting a seaside castle hang askew on the walls
of this circular room and a thick layer of dust cakes the floor. The
air is musty and weirdly cold. Old bloodstains splatter the walls,
along with numerous brutal gashes and slashes to the stone
itself. Two doors hang askew on hinges in a passageway to the
south, while to the north, a third door lies in fragments on the
floor, opening onto a flight of stairs leading down into darkness.
A second staircase leads upward against the north wall.

It worries me that he was able to disappear so easily though. Who knows what abilities or tricks he is capable of or where he might be hiding. We need to be at full effectiveness when we run into him again. Shiori, I will do what I can to get you back up into perfect health.

Upon entering the next room MAry looks at the gouges in the wall. Something powerful went through here but was it muscle or magic that caused this damage. Either way we must be extremely careful should we runinto the damage's owner. IF we do run into it, I sugest we retreat or try hit and run tactics instead.
