This is a solo campaign between me and DungeonmasterCal, so anyone else reading, you may as well move on, sorry.
DMCal, once you're here, go to the Gameplay tab and post there. That'll put this game in your "Campaigns" tab in your profile, making it easier to come back and find.
In the meantime, this is where we can discuss character creation and any other pre-game details.

Alright DMCal, here's how character creation will work:
Since it's a solo campaign, I suggest a character that's reasonably well-rounded, such as one of the various 3/4 BAB casters, but if you really want to play something else, we can work with it. :)
Start at level 3, using standard WBL for your gear.
For your ability scores, go ahead and just pick whatever stats you think reflect the character you want to play. Each stat can be anywhere from 8-18 pre-racial, except CON, which I'm going to require be at least 12 (otherwise it might get hard not to brutally murder you all the time).
I won't promise enough downtime for any significant crafting, though if you're interested in making your own scrolls or potions, those might be doable.
Most material that's on the Paizo PRD is available, since I can reference that from work.
Go to your "My Account" page and create an alias for your character. Fill in his profile with his stats; that's effectively your "character sheet". You'll post under that alias during play. I recommend typing out some of your commonly-used dice rolls and putting them at the top of your profile, so you can easily copy/paste them instead of typing them out every time.
Include your various class features in your profile, preferably copy-pasted from a PDF or the PRD so I can just click on your alias' name and quickly see your stuff.
Also, here's a neat little trick: In your profile, there's a small field labeled "Classes/Levels". Whatever you put in there will appear in gray text under your name when you post in Gameplay. So instead of your actual classes/levels, put in your HP, AC/Tch/FF, your saves, your Perception and Sense Motive bonuses, and anything else you think might be handy to add. That way, I can see all that information without having to open your profile first. So for instance, when I roll monster attacks, I just have to glance up to the previous post to see if I hit, instead of having to open another tab. That line can also include stuff that YOU might want to see, like spell slots remaining or a pool of points or whatever.
Let me know if you have any questions. :)

Ok, this is DMCal, posting with the alias I'll be playing under. Please take a look at what I have so far. The Perception and Sense Motive scores are low because they're not Magus skills. I've not done his background yet as I figure you have some history for the campaign that I might need to add into it. If not, I'll have something tomorrow. Let me know what you think and if I need to change or add anything!

I notice you're not actually proficient in your armor; did you forget they don't get that until later, or did you mean to pick it up as a feat?
Also, are you sure about those STR/DEX numbers? Your selection of Power Attack and Cleave (refreshing for a magus, by the way!) suggests you want to mix it up in melee, but I'm concerned that (especially while Power Attacking) you'll struggle to hit your targets reliably.
As for background, I was hoping to use it to sculpt a proper adventure hook, so come up with something you like. I already have thoughts churning just from the line "Adventuring Scholar" in your profile, so show me what other ideas you have and we'll work something out. :)
EDIT: Oh, also, think you could put a link to the light horse's stats on the PRD, so if it comes up I can just click it?

Good catch on the armor. I guess I wasn't thinking when I picked it out. I fixed it. I'll work on the background tomorrow. I have to hit the hay pretty soon so I'll think about it some more. And I'll certainly link the horse's stats for you.
I'll think about the STR/DEX scores, too. I didn't want to make them too high as you said to just pick my stats. In my actual games, my players tend to have pretty high stats as they're my homebrew's versions of superheroes and therefore a cut above the general population. But we use a nonstandard method of rolling up characters that results in high numbers. But I know not every GM likes super characters, so I purposely held them down a bit. But if you think it's ok I might bump them up a notch.
Have great evening and I'll have more for you tomorrow.

I like it! I'll start figuring out how to get this started, and hopefully have the opening Gameplay post up tomorrow-ish. In the meantime, it looks like you've got some shopping to do for that other two grand you've got sitting there; looks to me like a +1 cloak of resistance and +1 armor would be a good fit, or maybe some wands/scrolls, but it's up to you.

Right on. I didn't want to buy any magic doohickey's w/out your say so. I'll get started on it!
