Weird bits and bobs I should know about your character:
Some notes about me - Ive been doing this for a little while and here are my expectations.
1) If a saving throw is required, have it be the first dice roll of the post
2) Manage your own token. If I have to make decisions for you they probably wont be in any way tactical
3) I tend to be most active Tuesday-Friday and only RARELY post at all on Sundays.
4) I will manipulate the initiative order somewhat to make running encounters run as smoothly as possible.
5) Animal Companions if any run on their own initiative and I expect you to post your tricks known on your profile and yo have a listed "default" trick
Please sign in here and dot in the other thread, my mistake.

Player Name: Banesama
Character Name: Wylka Forth
PFS# 138079-3
Faction: Sovereign Court
Day Job: None
For the most part, Wylka is your typical Shelyn Cleric. He is very charismatic and has strong healing skills. Though when push comes to shove, he can pack a wallop with his Glaive. Typically in combat he likes to get in position to assist melee fighters without being directly threated since his Glaive is a reach weapon and still be able to touch his companions to heal if need be.
Before the adventure starts, Wylka will spend 308gp to get a Masterwork Glaive.

Venture Captain Caudron Wallace has sent a rather irritated call for agents to come see him at the Augustana pathfinder lodge to investigate a rumor that he finds rather interesting. He warns ahead of time this may all be a wild goose chase but he doesn't feel bad about wasting your time.
Would the following please report for this CORE game:
Lysle/Vulf Sorgrim
Vulf sends his regrets as he is currently somewhere in the Varisian wilderness babysitting a sleepwalking Pathfinder and may be doing so for a few more weeks.
However, who better to engage in a "wild good chase", than another "wild goose". Astingaire responds to the call!
Still putting together the character, but he claims to be a holy knight of Aroden. Is he a madman or a conman? Is he somewhat like Don Quixote or more like Don Corleone?

Player Name: TriShadow
Character Name: Wraith
Faction: The Exchange
Day Job: Perform, Dance: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19
Nothing special. Trying to make a CORE 'ninja'. Level 3 will be monk for the flavor

Player Name: Cellion
Character Name: Cazlin Summerweft (PFS#233690-2)
Faction: Scarab Sages
Day Job: N/A
Weird bits and bobs: Nothing mechanical, but Cazlin does have an unusual RP restriction. Due to a (totally for flavor) sphinx curse, he often speaks in rhyme or riddle. This can make him fairly difficult to understand, so don't hesitate to ask in character or OOC if I've been unclear.

Please note that on March 16-18, I will be at a con and may not be able to post. I am happy to leave botting instructions before then, if you would like.

Player Name: PaleDim
Character Name: Telos Downshot
Faction: The Exchange
Day Job: None.
Okay, beyond the official things:
Telos is a brash young sorcerer who is on the outs with his parents and so floating around with the PFS. He's arrogant to the point that if his teammates let him (they never do) he would venture out with no weapons and rely entirely on his sorcery to overcome all challenges. He'll show them one day soon...

This is already looking to be an excellent party for this.
I will put together a map slide document over the weekend

![]() |

FYI, I'm away on a camping trip this weekend, 3/3 & 3/4 US/Pacific time. I know this doesn't officially start until Monday, but just in case.

![]() |

Go ahead and post your day job roles and a character introduction with the prompt "You have just been on a boat with very few accomodations and it rained the entire time and have just arrived to report for duty."

![]() |

He's still involved in race for the runecarved key, ending tomorrow. Is that okay or should I wait until it closes before posting in gameplay over here?

![]() |

You'll be fine to post in gameplay here because Runecarved Key does have a definite end date.

Hey fellow members of the Exchange faction (wow, we are more than half the group!),
I don't know what faction goals you may each be working on, if any, but there may be an opportunity to fulfill one here with one of the following, if we play our cards right (perhaps you are already thinking along these lines):
- Recruit a named NPC merchant, smuggler, trader, or similar figure to cooperate with the Exchange. Doing so requires a successful Diplomacy or Profession (merchant) check with a DC equal to 15 + your character level.
- Resolve a combat encounter nonviolently through bribery, diplomacy, trickery, or a similar tactic.
- Create a lasting impression on a sentient creature by exceeding the DC of the Intimidate check to make the creature friendly by 10 or more.
Just throwing this out there. (Also, it helps me to remember what the goals are having them handy on this page).
It’s been fun so far. Very colorful characters, all.
@Cazlin - I had kicked around the idea of playing a gnome that speaks in rhyme and seeing Cazlin in action really makes me want to give it a go- you make it look easy! (I realize its not).

![]() |

I was hoping for a non-violent/trickery solution with the whole "join us and become a knight" tactic.
Seconded about Cazlin. Tons of effort, but comes with a huge pay-off. Great commitment.

1 person marked this as a favorite. |

Would have been cool. Though for random sewer goons maybe being a knight isn't that attractive? :>
Glad you guys are enjoying Cazlin's gimmick. The first scenario I played with him I tried to be way stricter, trying to make almost everything he said either a rhyme or riddle. That turned out to not be very practical! So now he can speak in short nervous phrases, but if he wants to convey something more complicated the rhymes and riddles come in.
It's a lot of fun making them, though I have to say speaking in rhyme is way easier than working out riddles that are relevant to the mission at hand!

I anticipate having limited availability through the remainder of the weekend, until late Sunday or Monday morning, US East Coast time. Feel free to
Astingaire will maintain bardic performance for one more round - not wanting to exhaust his "spells" for the day - and then continue to fight on with sword and shield until he can get to Telos to cure his wounds. He will continue to suggest that the Steel Wyverns surrender. If they do, they do, he will use intimidate to try and complete a faction goal above.

![]() |

I will be at a con this coming weekend, Friday afternoon through Sunday night, US East Coast time, and anticipate having limited availability during that time. It should be the last weekend that I'm tied up through the end of outpost. Let me know if you'd like me to leave botting instructions.

![]() |

FYI, I will be away on a camping trip starting Friday late afternoon, through Sunday afternoon (US/Pacific time). I will very likely have limited or no coverage to post. I'll be able to catch up late Sunday. Feel free to bot me from late Friday to early Sunday.

![]() |

Apologies for the delay, time simply got away from me the last two days.

![]() |

I am going to be running/overseeing Solstice Scar B tomorrow and then probably like passing out from the stress and tiredness. The odds are pretty high I won't get a post in, though I will try to since we're mid combat.

![]() |

Turns out I have phone service on this trip. I wasn’t sure beforehand, but looks like I’ll be able to post

@ GM - Thanks for running and for taking time to help with character questions at the beginning. I really appreciate both. I had a lot of fun!
@ Players - I enjoyed the role play and team work. Well done!
Thank you all again. I hope I get an opportunity to share a table with you again.

![]() |

Thanks for running, I had a nice time.
Astingaire, love the idea behind the character. I want to be there when someone figures it out.
Great work everyone. Lots of fun everywhere I looked.

![]() |

Thanks for the game GM and everyone else. Had lots of fun. We certainly had some interesting characters to play with :) in addition to the acting bard I liked the offbeat halfling fighter with his reclusiveness and rhyme speaking.

![]() |

Thanks for running the game GM and to everyone else, it was a lot of fun. An interesting adventure.

![]() |

Awesome! This is my first boon win across both PFS and SFS! I'd like to thank everyone who made this possible... my fellow PCs, my mom and dad, and all the support staff that have been by my side through this journey. I couldn't have done this without you. *bows*
Thanks Eddv for running a fun game for us! You kept up a great pace and I got a good giggle out of your version of Gandros. :> I'll PM you my details for the boon.

![]() |

Let me know if anything needs edited.
Otherwise, the game is now reported and I wish you all happy gaming.

Thanks GM Eddv!
Thanks everyone! Hope to see you at another table soon!
