Iago opens the door to see a small, orderly workspace and bed in front of him. His view is almost instantly obscured as the party hears a deep voice speaking harsh words and thick mist fills the room. Stephen has a moment of foresight to prepare for combat before the rest of the party.

Etune will pull out a tanglefoot bag and hold it at the ready if no one has spikes or other means. If the door even so much as twitches, it's going to get thrown at the door.

It really shouldn't be hard to hit a stationary object with a tanglefoot bag.

And... if for some reason she's a little slow on the draw, it'll still hit whoever might be in the doorway should the door open...

Etune is unfortunately so nervous waiting for something to happen that her throw splats on the floor in front of the door as it opens. The skeletal being standing in the entrance laughs and slashes at Iago. The warrior is dealt a hefty blow, blood once more splashing on the stone. Beyond, the gutteral words renew themselves, somewhere to the right of the door, hidden in mist.

Barret shouts as he points at the skeletal creature, and a translucent greatsword with spectral flames appears next to Iago and makes a swing at the creature while Barret tries to see if there is a way to get through.

Marching from the mist, another skeletal warrior steps up to Apollyanna. "Your friends hit hard." it hisses, swinging savagely at the holy warrior. Almost at the same time, a hobgoblin woman steps from the mist, reaching out a hand to grasp Apollyanna's throat. Thankfully, the paladin dodges aside from both attacks. The woman speaks, the deep guttural voice finally given a face, dark energy wreathing her hand, bones wrapping her body.

The paladin's sword scrapes off the bone armor protecting her dark counterpart. Her second strike as the enemies rise hits home, a gash bleeding freely. As Iago takes advantage of the opportunity provided by Stephen's spell, he notices open wounds over his body beginning to bleed heavily. The skeleton fails to pierce Apollyanna's armor with a savage swing, and the hobgoblin fails to cast her spell between the grease and the threatening warriors.

Just going to start using her name, it's awkward otherwise. Tajan is healing Iago, which will stop the bleeding but not before he takes damage. Stephen and Etune are up, I know Wei Ji is working today and may be a bit.
