Cool! Happy belated birthday.
Sorry for dropping off the radar for awhile. Took me a couple days to even realize you replied and then my school semester started so I've been rather distracted lately. Also, Xcom2.

I noticed you, ah, dropped off the radar again for a bit. Is regular posting currently a problem for you?
(TFG is a pretty long game. It'll probably take another 1-2 years of daily posting to complete. If you can only post every one or two weeks, then... let's just say I'd have serious doubts about it actually being finished at this table. XD;)

So, by banish the effect, you mean use a lot of lay on hands abilities? (Positive energy right?)
If so, I'll keep going with what I was going to do.

GM Rednal |
Yes, there is a way to destroy the haunt.
*Pauses*
No, it's not something you are capable of doing right now. (They wrote it like that on purpose, I think, in order to stop easy destruction of the area's main threat. XD It's all pretty much one giant haunt, by the way, with lots of little manifestations.)
This particular effect can be dealt with through any measure that would normally work. ^^

GM Rednal |
No, you're not - for two reasons.
First, it's not a persistent haunt, so it's only capable of being damaged at the time it actually manifests. It doesn't stick around.
Second, only positive energy can hurt haunts unless they're specifically vulnerable to something else. Fire spells, though fun, wouldn't do anything even if it was manifested at the moment.
