About Quinn Kouniashi

Spending many years as the companion and friend of a Tien girl who was taken and murdered, Quinn Kouniashi is now driven by vengeance and guided by morality. Still in his personality, however, is the desire to dance. This dance has evolved from entertaining young Tien girls to a deadly dance of acrobatics.

Questionnaire:
1. Why are you a Pathfinder?
It serves my need for vengeance. There is always a wrong to be righted and the Society seems to send agents to do just that. Though after the actions of the bastard Torch, it seems they stir up as much vengeance as the laypeople.

2. Do you have a name and surname that is not ripped straight out of existing Earth mythology or popular culture?
[with a chuckle] We kitsune are the stuff of mythology.

3. Which nation did you grow up in? How did this nation influence you?
I spent much time in Tien Xia, and it has given me a sense of honour. Sadly there are many in the world who disregard it and must be corrected.

4. What do you look like? What are your wearing? How does this vary when you’re stalking through forests, sewers, deserts or in glittering cities?
Regardless of my form, I sport a glimmering mithral shirt, some lovely pantaloons, and my waist bedecked with a souvenir from a traveling carnival dancer.

5. What do you love? (Treasure and experience doesn't count)

6. What do you hate? (Unclear and irritating darkness level rules don’t count)
Those who would defame the honor and innocents of those weaker than they. It is they who shall feel fear at the end of their pitiful life. They and the ones who spin their webs of lies, deceit and treachery through their scarred lips.

7. Which other Pathfinders (PCs) do you rely on for teamwork, survival and butt-kicking? Do you have a bro? a mentor? a father figure? maybe a rival?
While I am fairly self-reliant, I do sometimes rely on those with divine healing to keep me up and going strong. Elsewise, I am there to help distract the foe so others may take advantage of their weakness. Heh heh, there was, however, a time when I cleared near a whole manor with only three companions to sit back and watch. I let them do a little here and there. Just so they could feel useful.

8. How does your race influence your views? Are you a stereotype of a certain race? How are you different from most humans/elves/gnomes/orcs/tengu?
Quite honestly I have had very little association with other kitsune. I know about as much of my own people as humans do of the legends.

9. What are you afraid of? Do you have any phobias or worries?
One thing we cannot control; losing that which we hold dear.

10. What is your most treasured possession?
My scimitar and this beautiful scarf, keepsakes and memories both.

Agile (Ex) Kitsune receive a +2 racial bonus on Acrobatics checks. (Already factored into stats.)
Change Shape (Su) A kitsune can assume the appearance of a specific single human form of the same sex. The kitsune always takes this specific form when he uses this ability. A kitsune in human form cannot use his bite attack, but gains a +10 racial bonus on Disguise checks made to appear human. Changing shape is a standard action. This ability otherwise functions as alter self, except that the kitsune does not adjust his ability scores.
Fast Shifter (Su) You were born with an innate talent for switching between your natural forms. Using your racial change shape ability is a move action instead of a standard action.
Versatile Dance (Ex) A dervish dancer gains a bonus equal to half his level on Perform (dance) checks. He can use his bonus for his Perform (dance) skill in place of his bonus for Acrobatics.
Fleet (Su) While performing a battle dance, a dervish dancer gains a +20 enhancement bonus to his land speed.

Boons:
Vulpine-Blooded boon – I may play a kitsune character beginning at level 1 as normal.

Kayle's Blessing - +1 luck bonus on any saving throw against a dragon's breath weapon. This bonus can be applied after a roll is made but before the results are determined. You may one use this ability once per saving throw. This ability may be used three times. [][][]

Feast of Abadar – As a standard action, you gain the benefit of heroism (in tier 5-9) or good hope (in tier 7-11) using character level as caster level. If you choose to forgo 10% of the scenario's gold payout, increase the duration of heroism by 1 hour/level or good hope by 10 min./level. (Useable once)

Debt of Cyphers – When in Riddleport, you gain a +2 bonus on Knowledge (arcana) and Linguistics checks when you consult Gurukaza before making the check. In addition, the Order's connection to some of Riddleport's more powerful criminal elements also provides you a future benefit in the form of a +2 bonus on Diplomacy checks made in the city to gather information.

Riddleport Respect – You receive a +2 bonus on Intimidate checks made in Riddleport.

Masterful Performance – You gain one of the following benefits, chosen at the time you use this ability (as a swift action): a +3 bonus on a Bluff check to feint in combat or create a diversion to hide, a +3 bonus on an Intimidate check to demoralize an opponent, a +3 bonus on any Sleight of Hand check, or a +1 bonus to the caster level and DC of any one enchantment or illusion spell you cast. (Useable once)

Spider's Captor – You gain an official writ of appreciation from the People's Council granting you a +5 bonus on any Diplomacy check made to influence a government official within the nation of Andoran.

True Ally of the Lantern Lodge – Whenever you spend 1 Prestige Point to gain a +4 bonus on any one skill check while in Tian Xia, the bonus increases to +5. If you are in Goka, the bonus instead increases to +6.

Well Informed – You gain a +2 bonus on Intimidate checks against Pathfinders.

Driven by Glory – You gain a +2 bonus on any skill check you attempt to further the Taldor faction's goals, including the faction missions from earlier seasons and goals listed in the Faction Notes section of a scenario. This bonus lasts for 1 year from the date of this Chronicle sheet. (8/15/14)

Prosperity – You gain a +1 bonus on all Day Job checks. In addition, a DC 45 Day Job check now earns you 200 gp, and a DC 50 Day Job earns you 300 gp.

Actor of the Eleven Acts – When you would make a Will saving throw against a spell, spell-like ability, or effect that has the evil or fear descriptor, you may instead make a Perform (act, dance, or oratory) check and use the result of the skill check as your saving throw. (Useable once)

Greenheart's Blessing – You receive a +2 bonus on all Day Job checks.
