26: Dashuun makes two vicious attacks with daggers, one in each hand. The first one deftly finds the neck of the creature and sinks deep into it, sticking in it. The creature is severely alarmed by the strike and flails around a bit more violently. The second strike of a dagger misses completely. The bite also sinks into the creatures shoulder, but does not seem to make it flinch. Dashuun’s mouth is now stuck on the creature’s arm. Dashuun, you must make a strength check to release your mouth from the sticky creature.
23: Ashleaf grabs the creature quickly with his tanglevines bringing him to the floor, but Ashleaf now finds himself adhered to the prone menace. [ooc]Ashleaf, you must make a strength check to release your vines from the monster.

I flavor it to be part of my guy because of his origins and it just sounds cooler that way, but Tanglevines isn't actually supposed to be part of Ashleaf. It actually is supposed to spring from his hand and then is gone once it does it's duty. If you want me to roll a strength check I will do so (1d20 ⇒ 10) but I really shouldn't need to do so.
Also, standing up from a prone position will provoke attacks of opportunity from everyone in melee.

I can only be healed by Rejuvenate Eidolon spells while in this form, unless Fribble himself has actually take damage. Which he hasn't yet, so far only the eidolon has lost HP.

Am I grappled or not? What is this STR check? Is it an ability the monster has, or are you just making that up? What are the penalties for failing, what does "you're stuck to him" mean mechanically? Can we get a knowledge roll to identify this creature? What does it look like, you've just described it as an aberration. I'm just really confused, I was grappled AND 'stuck' to it, then I was unstuck but still grappled, and now it's tripped and Dashuun and I are both 'stuck' to it again. What is going on?

The pallid humanoid creature is wrapped with wispy strips of skin with bits of detritus and a sour stench clinging to it equally.
Fribble, you are currently grappled barring a DC17 strength check to free yourself. He is very sticky and his skin is very absorbent, like self-healing rubber. It is a paizo monster. It kind of looks like an undead mummy that is gooey with things sticking to it. You and Dashuun made successful contact with the creature causing damage, but you both are adhered to it currently, barring the DC17 strength check. You can keep making the check until you are successful during your turn. Your AoO misses. You have never seen a creature like this before. I have made up some NPCs for future encounters based off of the proper CR for the group, so expect that. There will be opportunities to gain knowledge to things on this world, but you have to get out of the lab and choose the right doors.

Dashuun finds a backpack behind a very dry and dusty skeleton of an alien creature. For as much dust that appears on the bones, it is amazing that the pack appears so pristine.
