As far as the one character that has been posted, it's a bit of an odd choice for an arcane spot, considering is not a full caster, and they took an archetype that reduces their daily spells.
Yeah, we really kinda need a full arcane. We've got full martial (Raseri), skill monkey (Lies), full divine (Mable), and a filler (me!). We don't really need another 3/4 BAB, 6/9 caster.
It wouldn't be so bad if I went for arcane trickster, but I'm not built for that, my stats are all wrong for one.
Now, I wouldn't be opposed to a martial caster, but for our group, Eldritch Knight might be better than Magus...
I thought there were 2 left.... black Dow and shadowy Fox?.... though I guess shadowy Fox hasn't made a submission yet..... How do you guys want to go about this?.... especially with the Magnus that popped out of black Dow?

I made a comment on the recruitment last night, perhaps Dow will consider another class, as I don't believe that a 16 int diminished casting 6/9 caster (less spells per day then Tobias) is what we need.
Perhaps we should consider opening up the recruitment, but that'll likely mean more work for 1 spot.
I know Fox is still active; we're in a couple of other games together. Might need a poke.

Looks like Black Dow is making a witch now.
The sorcerer looks solid, but I'm holding off on judgement until I see the fluff. We've got a good mix of personalities here, and I'd like to see someone who'd mesh well.

If DM gives it the ok, I'm in a game with some really top-notch roleplaying going on, and I can see if anyone there wants to give us more to choose from.
My only complaint right now on the sorcerer would be the color of the name, I'm a real stickler for that.
Although, a fire elemental bloodline sorcerer does kinda go against the themes of RoW (though it could be effective).

It's a strong choice mechanically, but I agree, it does kind of go against the themes. I like our mix - we have a mysterious old woman, a tricksy shape-changer, and a barbarian from the northlands - and what kind of fairy-tale is complete without a huntsman? ;-)
Like I said though, holding off too much judgement until I see more.

Just my two cents, but I think we should give Blaize a chance, I think Ed's done a decent job of working the concept into the background of the campaign, and if we are really that concerned about fitting themes, then maybe see if he'd be willing to re-flavor his character a little to use electricity spells instead.
(That's actually what I'm going to be doing when I can get some elemental rage powers. Normally I'd be gunning for the cold ones.)

Exactly.... though the caster might make an ugly reputation among the fey and be targeted constantly.... lol! ^_^
Anyway, I don't have my two cents either at the moment... Will give an opinion later but haven't been feeling 100% for the past few days (but better than the past week I guess).

Blaize's backstory seems more focused on the lava gnome subrace then the individual, but I have no problem with it.
I only wish Blaize's name was red instead of green.
I'm now unemployed, so I'm basically always on at the moment. >.> Happy to just get this moving again, and hopefully we'll get a feeling for Blaize in gameplay.

Dear old Grandma Mable ran a bakery in town.
Tobi's been around several years (about seven, from memory), but only for a few days at a time. He pops in for a decent shave, a night by the fire, and to trade his goods, then goes off into the Border Woods for weeks at a stretch. Mostly keeps to himself; Kaveri tends to get more attention.

Raseri had only been in town a few days before the game started. She's originally from Kalsgard, in the Lands of the LInnorm Kings.

Looking over things. Blaize has been away for a bit in Katheer. but that being said, Mable probably would have heard of Blaize or at least her family.
When Blaize would come home, and Mable being a baker, she would definitely have visited and tried almost everything Mable had to offer.
Also Blaize would have probably never seen through her disguise. even if she did, Blaize probably didn't care and left things alone (never saying anything)
Blaize is 50 years old (random generated age for a gnome) so she was probably in Heldren for over 10 years (maybe close to 15 or 20) but she has been away in Katheer attending the magic college there for the past 3 or 4 years anyone new to town during that time Blaize would not know very well.
Lies grew up on an entirely different continent, and hasn't been in Heldren long, I think I originally said about a week or so.
More importantly, no one in Heldren knows or likely even suspects that Lies isn't human.
Kaveri knows the two-legs smells like fox. However, Kaveri can not speak.
Of course she smells like fox, she has a little fox running around inside of her clothes half the time.
