The Battle at Dumai Wells is a total disaster. The asha'man suffer defeat at the hands of the Shaido and Tar Valon emmisaries. The Dragon is brought to Tar Valon.

It is interesting though, the situation with Moridin. He basically wants to help us achieve our goal. I am not sure what to think of that :)
Though liberating 1,000 Seanchan Damane is a mission Litheene can greatly relate to, attacking the Tower might be another story if it involves killing Aes Sedai. I am not sure how Litheene would react to the choice of return in such a case.
I guess we still need to synch with the other half of the team though, our dreamers, ahem, might give it a try :)

I think Stephen is too. I was just making sure I didn't miss a post or something but it's not a big deal at all. My natural inclination is to say NOOOOO MORIDIN! but since I am from this side not sure.

alright everyone i need an honest assessment.
How are you liking the new setting? Is it something that you wish to stick around in for a while, explore, and see where the plot takes you? or would you rather be within your own realm, where everything is how you know it from the books?
please dont be shy in saying you do not like this; im not the type of dm that would be annoyed if a setting/idea didnt pan out. I want to make this enjoyable to everyone, so please, let me know what your thoughts are.
Thanks
yes, i know things have been slow these last two weeks. been dealing with some governmental issues, finishing up a semester of college, and have gotten a lot more responsibilites from work, so i apologize for the lethargic speed in my postings.

I am curious to see how this develops. Eventually, I would like to return 'home', but for now I want to see where this adventure takes us. The Mirror Worlds weren't explored that extensively in the original books, and they seem like a great resource! :)
I like this setting, because it adds more plot flexibility. I mean - in the original book, we know how things went, so there isn't much place for taking a major role or changing events. On the other hand, here the world is similar to the original, but allows more freedom.
However, it would be strange for the characters to just abandon their world on the rest of the team. It can be solved on the DM level of course, for example, we might get into some inter-world plots and such.
In short - I agree with Stephen, but I would want to fully abandon the character's background and the rest of the team.

Automatic Misses and Hits
A natural 1 (the d20 comes up 1) on an attack roll is always a miss. A natural 20 (the d20 comes up 20) is always a hit. A natural 20 is also a threat—a possible critical hit (see the attack action).

I;m starting to think that this game is starting to become boring for you guys, simply by looking at the number of postings over the last few weeks. Or should i say, the lack of postings.
I know life gets in the way, but there has always been some sort of interaction between the players to provide the game with a sort of forward momentum, allowing me to progress the story line. Lately, this has not been the case.
As of this moment, i have one player who has not posted since middle september, and the rest of the group has sporadically posted at best.
With that said, i am going to revamp, or restart, the campaign.
What i do know right now is it will take place within the regular world. You all will remain the same level, but i hope that the new setting will revitalize the group into greater interaction.
If you do not wish to continue with this game, i do appreciate the time and effort you have put into it thus far. it has made this a real enjoyable experience for myself, and i am sure my fellow gamers here will agree. Thanks.

i'll wait until tomorrow to see who responds to this to determine my next step. If you both are the only ones to reply by then, then ill put you into the other mirror-world.

I check the postings everyday, and respond when it seems appropriate for Keelix to do so. He is not a particularly chatty type, so I often have nothing to say. I will endeavor to put more descriptions of actions and such into it.
I know I had less chance to post during September, but speaking for myself - I enjoy this game a lot, Sometimes I feel more chance for Litheene to add a lot of dialog/descriptions, some times less, it's more of a type of interaction thing. But the current setting is very interesting, as it really put forward an element of a creepy dungeon setting, Something we were missing until now, traveling a lot in the open or in crowd.
P.S. Right now I kinda had a readied action tied to Jasmine, so I didn't post after Ryvin's last, but I saw the day it was posted.

ok. I will continue on with this adventure line. I really like where i am taking you, and i think you will enjoy it too.
As of this moment, jasmine is no longer with the group. I will not DMPC her.
I will remind everyone though that the posting frequency for is at least once every 3 days. even if you have nothing to contribute to the dialogue, your character can still do something.
Male Human (Midlander) Wolfbrother 9/Blademaster 2; Init +4; Senses: Low-Light Vision, Scent, Sense Emotion, Perception +15; AC 23 (+2 Dex., +11 Def. bonus); HP 129/129; Fort +13; Ref +8; Will +11
I can definitely deal with that. I am enjoying this game, and the alternate timeline is interesting and allows for the PCs to have more of a central role to the story.

stephen, i would like to say yes, but ive found that by having a 1 per 2-3 days posting works best, especially for me. cuz there are days here at work that i just cannot sit down and make a posting. i strive to meet the 1post per day rule, but dont want people wondering whats going on if i miss a day. so i give myself, and others, some lee-way. But it seems that that i have been lax in enforcing this within the group...hence the long time between posts that everyone has done.
