About Litheene

Appearance:
Litheene is of small build - short and lean. She has black hair, light brown skin and green eyes.

Personality:
Litheene tends to speak in a low, and rather slow accented voice, which, in conjunction with her appearance, allows people to sometimes overlook or not notice her.
Some of her mannerism comes from her background as a Seanchan damane. However, since then, then Litheene started gaining confidence, and sometimes uses people's tendency to underestimate her to her advantage.
Litheene is peaceful in nature, and prefers negotiation over conflict, attempting to please those close to her. She values cooperation and sharing, easily bonding with other accepted, and even making connection with sisters.
If conflict is unavoidable, or Litheene feels that her interests are being neglected, she will prefer to use her intelligence to gain an edge, rather than declare open opposition.
Thou Litheene lacks aspiration for battle or leadership, Litheene is very passionate about knowledge, and seeks to understand the OP, the world, and anything else she can study.
Despite her projected appearance of weakness, and often perceived submissiveness, Litheene is ambitious and strong willed in pursuing her goals.

Background:
Litheene was born and raised in a low blood house, and originally had a dream to become a scribe, librarian or historian, as she was very curious, intelligent, and liked learning both about the world and about it's cultures.
At the age of 16, Litheene found out she could make people like her, or help her, by wishing it really hard and concentrating. The next year, she was taken at the adam testing, chained as damane and named Shari. As a quick learner and chaneller, even thou she wasn't fully trained yet, Shari displayed the rare ability to create additional adam. Thus, she was chosen to go with the hailene, to help create adam as necessary, despite being newly chained and not fully subdued. After the conquest of falme, was stationed on the city border along with other damane.
There Shari heard from newly captured damane about the existance of the white tower and the free live of channalers. Thou scary, the idea enticed her, as she was not willing to give up her dreams, and being especially intelligent, had a hard time accepting herself as an animal.
Litheene secretly added flaws to the adam's she was making for the newly captured Aes Sedai. The flaw was simple - while the chained couldn't remove her own adam, she could remove others. Because adam making damane were scarce and busy, none noticed the flaws, until one of the adam's was used on an Aes Sedai of the Yellow Ajah named Kari (from Sheinar). During the battle of Falme, Litheene found the opportunity to tell Kari about the flaw, and have her adam removed. She then unchained Kari, who helped her escape into the chaos, and later, arrive at the tower and get accepted as a novice.
Litheene grew most attached to sisters from the brown Ajah, seeing her destiny among them, and making good impression on them with her love for knowledge. Her ability to understand and duplicate simple terangreal, also earned her points among the sister, and she was raised to accepted at the age of 19.
Litheene still sometimes uses her damane name, and has a hard time shaking off her seanchan heritage and training, thou she tries to supress it, especially among the sisters from which she seeks acceptance.
Litheene mentor, an Andorian brown named Maelin, encouraged Litheene's talent with items of the power, as she herself spend her life studying terangreal. Litheene shares Maelin's interest, and often receives tasks from Maelin targeted at retrieving and studying power items.

Ambitions:
Litheene seeks to become Aes Sedai, and join the brown Ajah. She shares the ideal of the brown, seeking to learn anything possible and everything available. Litheene is especially interested in items of the power, and hopes to rediscover the ability to create those. She believes this to be a task of great importance, as it will give the tower the edge necessary to protect itself versus the Seanchan and the shadow.
Another main interest is the inner workings of the one power, which Litheene believes is connected to the way items are created.
Litheene also likes to study other cultures and customs, thou she is loyal to the tower, even if she sometimes likes to learn about the life of other traditions.
Litheene seeks the unity of the tower, and unity of the light behind the dragon, against the shadow and seanchan both. She sees the Seanchan as an enemy none less horrible than the shadow, and worries about the expansion of their conquests.
Litheene shuns from using the one power to cause damage. She prefers neutralizing weaves in combat situations, but will still gladly learn any new weave, even forbidden ones, not for the intent of using it, but for knowledge's sake, as she believes it helps her understand the workings of the power better.
