Since this isn't Golarion, can you tell me how evil undeath is in this setting? Would the general assumption made by a reasonably education person be that an undead creature is evil?

My apologies for how infrequently I have been posting. My landlord just put the house we've been renting up for sale, and my husband just started a new job across the state. I've also been trying to plan a move.

Arrrgh, a recent FAQ just declared Chirrup illegal, because it says you can't take improved familiar with tumor familiar. Can we just pretend that this FAQ was never released? pleeeeeeease???
We've been ignoring most FAQs and Errata for a while. Pretty much anything from within the past year and a half is garbage.

Anyone interested in joining an ongoing Mummy's Mask campaign? We lost our rogue, and also need a ranged fighter. Everyone just leveled up to 2, so it's still near the beginning.

The problem is hunting down the post that actually has said Initiative spoiler... And knowing which one of the NPC happened last.
I suggest keeping a Round/Initiative tracker at the campaign info and/or adding a "Round X; whoever's turn" sentence at the end of each post... Usually after describing the actions of the NPCs and/or the consequences of the PC's actions.
(Also, according to the last spoiler I found it's "Jack Bock 1"'s turn. If it can't/won't act, then it should be Donovan's).

Possibly, but then again...
I don't know if the dead enemy is "Mook #1" or "Mook #2", so I can't be sure whether or not there's still an NPC to go... Also, unlike in a face-to-face session, the game may not be the only thing on which players are focusing their attention.
If I haven't said "combat is over", there's still an enemy left to go.
I'm not understanding what the problem is in this case. I say whose turn it is, they go, NPCs under my control go, the rest of people go. It's especially simple using Block Initiative for the enemies like this.

By "there's still an NPC to go" I didn't mean "still alive"... I meant "still haven't had their turn".
When you say a character kills a zombie... I don't know if you mean "zombie #1", whose turn is already over, or "zombie #2" who is supposed to act before me...
So I don't know if I should wait for the GM's post or if I can already post.
e.g.: If the initiative order is:
Zombie #1
Lemmy
Zombie #2
Nicos
...and Nicos kills a zombie, and you describe it as "<Nicos character> chops off the head of one of the shambling corpses." or whatever, I don't know if he killed Zombie #1 (making it my turn) or Zombie #2 (making it Zombie #1's turn, which means I have to wait).
...And if you don't post anything, I can't even know if he did indeed kill one of the zombies. It's a pain in the ass to have to keep rereading the whole thread just to see who acted already and (maybe) find out whose turn it is.
Case in point: Is it my turn? Or is the "jackal bock" who's supposed to act after Olsson and before Donovan still alive? I don't know. There's no way to quickly check who's still up and kicking... Which means I'd have to reread the whole combat just to remember who bit the dust and who's still a threat.

Technically, it's the Jackal Bock's turn. Or Donovan's... I'm not sure.

It is the person who hasn't gone's turn. I said "Everyone is up". That means you guys. Thetsu was the only one that hadn't. So it was his turn. This is not complicated.
If an NPC death changes the turn order, I always tell you guys whose turn it is next. Generally speaking if nobody specifies which one they're attacking, I go with whoever is lowest on HP, followed by who is next in Init.
The exception to this is if I personally forget who's up, in which case changing the way I inform you of whose turn it is wouldn't really change anything.
You don't have to reread the entire thread, just the bits where I say:

I replied to all those posts that said it was my turn. All of them. Except the last one, and apparently I somehow lost my turn, which is what confused me.

Always go by what I say, rather than the spoiler, because sometimes I forget to delete things when I copy-paste them. Didn't realize that was what was causing the issue, but me saying "everyone go" should be enough. It works for every other game.
