He casts a protective spell over her, warding off the chill of his room. Endure Elements.
He looks down briefly and starts rubbing one arm.
"I.. I am a firebird. I'm just... really sick." He says softly. "I got left on a mountai to I wouldn't embarrass my family. I still don't want too, but... Well, I did ice the manor before coming back here..."
"Would you like to come in? I was just playing chess with a metal man named Hermes. It's an interesting game and I'm just learning so you could too if you want to."
"Thank you," she said as the room became merely uncomfortable instead of outright painful.
"You don't look sick," she said puzzled. "Are you sure you're sick? Or are you a mutant, like me? I can't use fire, but I can go through walls and floors and stuff...well....not on purpose yet. But I'll get the hang of it eventually. It would have been really useful before when my family was keeping me locked up, but using my ability makes me really hungry and my family didn't really feed me much, so that may be why it didn't happen earlier. But I know what you mean about the family being embarrassed. That's a big part of why I was locked up my whole life. Well, that and they wanted to 'preserve my purity' for their messed up breeding program. Nuh-uh. Not happening."
"Wait...iced the manor? Isn't that a bit extreme?! I mean...this happened post-evacuation right? I can understand being mad at family...so...your family are nobles too? Mine are. They're awful. I guess if they left you on a mountain you don't know them that well though."
"Oh! What game is this? I've never played any games before. The servants weren't allowed to play with me."

"Ace" |

Ace shifts his appearance slightly to create an conductor hat, "Next stop, Avalon infirmary, all aboard!"
He then pauses, and turns a critical eye to Morrivan "Let me check her over real quick, see if I can figure anything out immediately, just in case its that serious." 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (5) + 20 = 25 Heal.

He says with a weary laugh.Ehos nodded somberly at that, agreeing whole-heartedly with Silinrul's assesment. With his datapad, he displays to the littermates: 'Jaiye's really good at sticking with people, even when they screw up really badly.'
She shrugged. "I've made enough mistakes in my life that I can understand when other people aren't perfect either."

The adults are a human man and a elf woman, both blonde haired and... it's pretty obvious their relation, even at this distance. Having arrived in the receiving area of the infirmary, a beleaguered looking nurse hurries over, and Vai can be seen saying a few words to the nurse before the pair are whisked away to beds in the non-critical section, followed closely by Vai.
Tamina made frantic motions not to say anything when she saw Vai in the infirmary. She didn't want to remind Morrivan of the fight with Sadie this morning. Not in her current state.

Alreenneesha's sense of suffering do indeed draw her away from Avalon... and into the forest just near to the borders of the Avalon's wards, some distance from the lake.
The source of the suffering appears to have already passed on as the Star Seed streaks into the woods. A teenaged girl... no older than fifteen or sixteen, lays dead here. The girl's glossamer clothing is soaked through with blood from what appears to be repeated stabbing. Her teal/turquoise coloured hair is stained red.
Across her body is evidence of repeated stabbings of a vicious nature. The neck in particular, and all the vital places on the body have been pierced in what looks like gleeful abandon. Whomever did this clearly reveled in the act itself, though a quick examination of the area about the body reveals very little in the way of footprints or other evidence.

"Hello, Hermes," she said with a wave.
She looked at the book on the shelf that Pyry was looking towards, mostly out of idle curiosity, and then stopped, stunned. "But....that's my family crest," she said, puzzled.
Pyry freezes -quite a feat for the icy firebird- and looks at Asha in an entirely new way. Before she'd just been some girl that walked into his room. Now she might just be family...
"You're name is Asha Soleil..? I... I think I'm your brother. I'm Pyry Soleil.."

Alreenneesha |

She left the green being behind, heading out over the water and to the trees. The pain was close, in the woods, she moved into them. Stopping and then moving again, homing in on the the hurt she could feel.
Then it stopped, she could feeling nothing more, Alreeneesha kept going moving fast. The light from her body reviling A small being, the world "teenager" sprang into her mind, then "Girl" she sank down next to the prone form of the dead Girl.
The teens body was growing cold, there where no signs of life, that was wrong, Alreeneesha knew this. The hurt she had felt because had become death, that was why she could feel pain from the being no more.
That death had been A cutting death, cuts deep into the body, a body that should be warm, moving.
Alreeneesha shifted form into harder light. her light now showed redness all around. "Blood" understanding came with the words. If she was fast, she placed her hands on the girls body. Light pulsed from her into it. There was a chance. Alreeneesha used her powers Seeking to bring back a soul back to its home.

Alreenneesha |

She will not pay that much heed to the area around the girl, just the fact she needs help.
If BoL dos not work, she will play a hand on the body and use Psychoport greater to move the body and her to the School buildings she was heading for, looking for help.
Think arriving in the Canteen may be fun and let others have some interesting reactions

"He still up their?" Dom calls from the ground. His expression showed no sign of anger but his voice boomed with fury. He silently awaited an answer with his fists turning red with anger.
"Yeah, I've got him," came a voice from the mech. "He's not going anywhere....well, except maybe a cell for questioning. Speaking of which...do we have anywhere to put this guy where he won't get away?"

Asha Soleil |

Asha Soleil wrote:"Hello, Hermes," she said with a wave.

[blink, blink]
"Brother? I....I didn't even know I had a brother....nobody told me....but....well, it makes sense now. I mean my family are definitely the kind of people who would abandon a baby somewhere in order to avoid embarassment....and I guess I wouldn't know anything about it...I mean, it's not like anyone ever let me out of the tower. My parents would check on me once a year, to make sure I was still alive I guess. I didn't really see any family except Embre....he showed up regularly so he could beat me up....supposedly it was 'for my own good'....I don't think it was, I just think it hurt.....I think maybe you were better off on the mountain...." she just kept talking, trying to process this new piece of information.

Tyrrin Denulia |

The look of fury on Tyrrin's face doesn't abate at all, but what was she going to do to get the mech out of the way? She lands next to the robotic hand, her right hand still wreathed in dark energy. "He deserves justice." she says passionately, speaking to the mech suit. (Do the Mechs speakers hide the voice of the pilot, or should Tyrrin recognize it?)
"A speak with dead spell will be just as reliable as typical interrogation tactics. This person... they do not deserve life. He chose the moment where people needed help the most to strike out at innocents and those helping them. The less time he spends alive, the better." she says, motioning to the unconscious form of the young man.

Ehos Denulia |

She shrugged. "I've made enough mistakes in my life that I can understand when other people aren't perfect either."
Ehos smiles happily, his heartstrings tugged at that. He couldn't say why - it was such a simple phrase - but it somehow meant alot to him.
He doesn't display anything but looks to Jaiye, and the soft smile on his elven face and the tenderness in his eyes... there's love in his expression, even if he doesn't display anything on his pad. He withdraws slightly, tilting his head to Sil to indicate that he should be the focus.

Vai Sunwake |

Tamina made frantic motions not to say anything when she saw Vai in the infirmary. She didn't want to remind Morrivan of the fight with Sadie this morning. Not in her current state.
Vai glances over at the frantic motions and spots Ace, Tamina, Ginni... and Morrivan? She gives Tami a slight wave, but doesn't go over to them focused on what she was doing. Tamina and those with her may notice that Vai is pretty pale, looking somewhat shaken. The two adults she came in with are taken and laid onto beds, and Vai turns away from her friends... to face her biological parents.

GM Fireclaw |

"Vai..." begins Elsa, laying on the bed as the scanning begin to work on detecting exactly what kind of sedation to which the pair had been subjected.

Vai Sunwake |

"Don't, Elsa." Vai says just a little harshly, using her mother's real name instead of the proper, respectful noun. "Listen..." she begins, trying to think of what to say to these people who had so hurt her. Her fists are clenched to stop them from shaking.
"Listen, you two don't know how much you put me through. You don't know what the Dragon did to the girls he took." Vai begins, speaking very quietly, measured to keep herself in check. "And I'm not going to go through it. It's too hard to relive that again. But... the people here... the people at this school. They saved me. They took me in, and even adopted me when I was all alone."
Vai bites her lip and tries to keep herself from crying right there. She was trying to be dignified and no lose her temper, especially in this place of healing, but the side effect of that is to make her want to cry instead.

GM Fireclaw |

"Vai, we..!" Avery begins, before Vai cuts him off again.

Vai Sunwake |

"No! Okay!" she shouts, and then looks abashed as she glances around. She continues much quieter. "I thought you were in trouble so I came to save you... I couldn't just let you die if I could stop it... but.. you guys have hurt me alot. You di..." Vai is stopped short by the tears quietly sliding down the faces of both her parents. She takes a small step back, shocked by their emotional response. "You..." she says again, now unable to hold back her own emotion, and then vanishes from the infirmary in a small burst of light, leaving her parents laying there, medical equipment and unfamiliar space all round them.

Pyry gets up and takes the book from the shelf, looking through it as he listens.
"I think I remember him.. I was in poor health on the Sun. Turns out all that heat... Yeah. I think he'd beat me too, and I think he's the one that tossed me on to the mountain when all the healing magic could do was patch me up and not make me normal..."
"The cold and ice and snow made me feel great though. It's an amazing feeling, and I'm sorry my room's too cold for you." He hands the book over to her and smiles a little. "I found us listed."

Tryko'Sam |

After looking on as six legged tree cat uses Arthur as a climbing post, or roost, Tryko'Sam turns to speak further with Carl.
"Yah, not too sure about supplies, man. This school here got blown up, the town was attacked by some demon summoning earlier, and now there's crazy shit going on with mechs and tentacles. Maybe rushing in isn't the best idea. I gotta learn to use the inside voice more sometimes. Heh. How's about, we do the socializing thing here, for now, or... Uh, it's not too late, right? Maybe find a nice clearing for an evening picnic and pow wow? Are there any other big towns near by?"
He glances around at the others, Vickory, Tybalt and Melody and says, "I guess you two probably ate, huh? What time is it anyway, late? Just getting dark? Does this world have twenty four hour rotation on its axis to denote a day, or is it slower or faster? Pretty cool, regardless. This is quite a wild joint so far. Sure is going to take a while to get settled, I bet." He grins waiting for responses.
"Oh, hey... Uh, this person," indicating Vickory, "came with us from that off world trip. I don't know your name. I'm called Tyrko'Sam. Hi. Didn't think earlier to introduce, plus we seemed rushed back there."
He extends his hand in greeting to Vickory, regardless, smiling warmly.

Tybalt Baneko |

"If there was more we could do, I'd love to, but without supplies there's really not anything we can do..."
He seems genuinely upset about his lack of ability to help the people.
He /could/ use his champion abilities, but he only has so much and they've probably been dead too long. If he can only raise five people, it's better not to. He shouldn't be the one who decides who gets to live and stay dead... on the bright side, Krays should be somewhat more powerful after the past two days...
"I'm really not in the mood for a whole lot of celebration. It's been a long and tough day for me. You guys can if you want, but I'm not quite up for it right now."
He checks his watch.
"About eight thirty. My watch switches to planetary time on landing, so it looks like..." he checks it again.
"Twenty four, 365. That's a pretty standard planetary time. I've seen it plenty of places."
He finishes off his tray and...
1d20 + 12 + 11 ⇒ (10) + 12 + 11 = 33
Frisbees it across the room to land on the return gently.

Alree's attempts to beckon the life force back into the body are met with no results - she must have been just a few moments too late. And so, she psychoports herself and the body - brutalized and bloodied as it is - into the middle of a somewhat bustling cafeteria. Immediately there's a scream from a nearby student...

"Ace" |

Upon hearing Vai shout, Ace looks to Ginni and Tami. "Vai looks like she needs a friend. You two seem to have things in hand with Morrivan, and you're both much closer to her than I am. The staff here can help her, but Vai is beyond their reach. Let me see if I can calm her down."
He moves off to where Vai is standing and talking to her parents. Then, suddenly, she disappears in a flash of light. Ace strides over to the spot she teleported from and manifests the same power he used to track her dark twin. Trace Psychoport

Tybalt Baneko |

Tybalt's ears snap to attention as a bright thing arrives with another person and the smell of blood.
"Gotta help."
He says exceedingly quickly upon it happening.
He dissappears with a few bubbles taking his place and appears next to the star fragment and deceased girl.
"What happened?"
He says quickly, following it up with
"Never mind."
He draws something that looks like a bubble wand with an incomplete hoop at the top that was hanging off of his shirt.
Blowing gently through it, a flurry of what look like iridescent soap bubbles float out, finding wounds which heal and close as the bubbles pop on them.
This is also breath of life, but at champion level. I figure the couple extra rounds should be enough since she had just missed the time.

"Wow...you're right....there we are...I have a little brother....can I give you a hug or would that hurt cause my body heat is so high? And your room isn't so bad now. That spell helped. At least it doesn't hurt anymore."

Tryko'Sam |

Vickory shakes his hand firmly, "Ah yes, introductions did get set aside didn't they. I'm Vickory West of Dragon clan, and scout of Shiara Sorenson."
Smiling at the introduction, Tryko'Sam says, "Never met a naga type before, that's what I know someone with a half-snake body. Pleased to meet you, Vickory. Heh, Ms. West, is it?" He appears bemused at his own thought for a moment, while looking off at the bubbles and vanishing Tybalt.
Hand shake complete, normal human, warm, uncallosued skin, he takes his hand back and says, "You wanted the library for some research, right? Did someone explain the directory system? Just touch the walls and think of destination, arrows will assist."
Glancing at the others to see their reaction to Tybalt's vanishing trick, he continues with Vickory, "You do realize we've jumped worlds, right? Is that common with your people or society?"

"It is quite alright if the room remains this way. I wonder if it's effects might be extended to my bedroom. It would be a good deal easier to sleep at times." He replies conversationally, still apparently intrigued by this particular experience, still glancing around the room. "I wonder if the designer knew of the Dream and did this intentionally, or if it is somehow being overzealous in it's attempt to give you privacy. The latter is a somewhat disturbing thought."
"As you wish, Maya." he says to her comment concerning honourifics.
"I am a teacher here, as you guessed. I teach the Conjuration arts and related topics... and occasionally engage in protecting this place from threats, of which there are sadly many. I'm sure if you wished to slip back into your old roles, the school could accomodate."
"I'm pretty certain, if the technology, or ... magic, allows it, you could have similar, but don't quote me. Hardly an expert in the latter, at all. Disturbing .. in that the room, or the Dream, is doing the privacy part? I'm pretty sure it's doing as instructed." She smiled warmly, trying to assure Vare that nothing devious or disturbing was in effect.
"So, a guardian and teacher. Much like I was prior to my ..death. Fascinating. Perhaps this is the Heaven that people spoke of, or Hell, depending on your outlook in life. What do you mean by the school could accommodate? As a reminder, I'm ignorant of this place, beyond some basic understanding and over hearing. I would greatly appreciate any details you might have to share, provided I am not keeping you from some prior engagement."

Tryko'Sam attempts a soothing smile for Melody's benefit.
Assuming of course, that this happens in the Cafeteria temp infirmary
"Tybalt's right over there-- at the make shift infirmary. Guessing they still have some folk before opening up the new place just yet."
