"Ya. It was going to be on Sunday, but if we're not doing the concert, we could do it on Saturday, his actual birthday. I was going to do it in a sim room, but Maya suggested it might be better to do on my own in a real room. Maybe we could use that concert hall. I still want to do this, no matter what happens, as long as he doesn't totally disown me... I had some ideas for the sim room one, but it might be more personal if it was a real, smaller thing. I guess it's up to him. Whatever it is, I want it to be really special."
He gets this look when he talks about Dave.
He looks like he is focussed less on what he's doing and like he's thinking about something else.

Kitty smiled. "Thank you, Dacamara-sama. Of course I would be happy to cook for you. All you had to do was ask. ...are you feeling adventurous enough to try sashimi or would you prefer something a little more...cooked."
She mulls it over for a moment.
"Let's try something new. Sashimi it is!"
"Allow me a moment to put together the required components."
Hermes puts together a chess board and the pieces, explaining what each does as he makes them. Half are copper and half are steel.
...
"Are you now clear on the basic rules?"
"I think so. Pawns move one space, except they can move two on there first move, and..." He lists off the ways each piece can move and how to win he game. "was that right?"
Fieri Sunwake |
After a moment of silence between songs, the next song starts. It was a good thing that this wasn't a stage performance because Fieri couldn't stop tears from sliding down her face as she sang.
When the song was over she gave the signal to move to the optional song on the set list that she thought they might need to add, letting the others take over vocals for a song so she could regain her composure.
Not sure if it's Taron or Kam actually doing the vocals for this. But one of them.

I'm sure we can make do without if we need to....I'm just going to go check in the kitchen to see what ingredients I have to work with," she said, deed following word almost immediately.
Silinrul |
It takes Silinrul some time to fully come to, and then totally process everything that's being said. Finally, he responds, to his sister. "Yea. Uh. I oooh. I think you're right. Sadly. I no longer have a home. Perhaps this is how it is meant to be. I need to be free to travel Agartha, to spread Her wisdom, and warnings. Without anything pulling me back to the tribe, I am not tied down any longer."
Its clear to Jai that he kinda feels she'll reject him too.
Melody Waverider |
Mel waves to Carl. have fun on the trip. and thanks for the flowers, I really did enjoy them. And don't forget you promise to take me on the town someday.
turning her attention back to Tybs, I am doing a concert, I just don't know when would be a good time. I think I should talk to Fieri, I used to be a big fan when I was younger, so it will be great to see her and talk music.
as for this party, Is it a suprise party? I can't wait. I am sure no matter what you have planned Dave will like it. And just remember no matter what happens, you'll always have me to help ya out.
I was going to include a song, but I don't want to override Fieri's brodcast.

Unsurprisingly, Ehos also remains silent. A part of him was still trying to figure out what exactly might have happened to made this manifest.
Ehos has +20 in most relevant knowledge checks (Psionics, Nature, Arcana, Religion, The Planes), but none of the science ones. Further, he can Take 20 with his Lore Master ability, which he'll use here. If there are any results, feel free to PM me.
While Ehos' brain works, he's there, offering support to Jaiye though held-hands and his own nearness.
Midori Tsuyomi |
Lang pulls out a jar full of honey with the honeycomb still inside. it looks like someone has alreadt eaten some of it.
Sara healed a beekeeper from his bee stings and we got this jar of honey. there are giant mountain bees that the villagers harvest honey from in the summer.
Midori seems practically elated at this, and brings her hand out from behind her back and opens it, still holding the contents delicately. In her hand, is a small flower of the deepest purple, and near the center there's a splash of red colouration.
"Maybe your bees made their honey from my flower." she says exitedly.
"This is a Black Lotus flower." she explains excitedly. "They are supposed to be very rare, even up high in the mountains like this. The petals can be made into a very strong poison too. The bush I found was small though, so I only took one flower."
"Grim-kun... that's alot of firewood!" Midori exclaims as Grim crashes the party, dragging the tree behind him.

In the Freibird Refugee Camp, there's a sigh of exasperation.
"Would it be too much to ask that wailing to stop? Uncultured rubbish! The only thing about these songs worth celebrating is when they end!" the sigh is accompanied by the complaining of a teenaged firebird girl, mostly speaking aloud to herself.
Lucas Svarog |
Lucas snorts as he sits near her with a book "oh yes please do call attention to how your tastes are different than everyone else's, that's a wonderful idea. In all seriousness, it'll be over in like, 10 miniutes, you can endure"
Tybalt Baneko |
Tybalt waves goodbye to Carl as he leaves.
"I still want to the concert. Just say when. I'm sure we'll be up for it. That also reminds me. I wanted to see if you could help me put an instrument together. It's like an all around keyboard, but has mixing and stuff in different sections. And no. Dave knows about the party. Might do a surprise next year."
Kevin Ramos |
He does a short laugh.
"Go ahead. Sorry. The idea of a flying earth elemental is just funny."
Arthur Barren |
Arthur waves goodbye to Carl and tells him to "stay out of trouble"
.....
"Well that's far outside my expertise, I can play the violin a little bit, and that's it, I'm going to have to defer to Mels here," Arthur suddenly blinks, remembering where he heard the name, this must be the guy who hypnotized Raelle
Roel |
he makes strange sounds as he bubbles and stirs, before he hardens into a small earth elemental.
"There. And..."
he moves again, but much slower, finishing the new form a little difficult, before casting fly.
"There."
he hovers a few inches off the ground, to demonstrate that he's ready.

Its clear to Jai that he kinda feels she'll reject him too.
"Oh, stop being such an idiot! You can't go home now, but that doesn't mean you have no home. You just need to give me some time to go kick their asses and get them in line, okay? I mean, it's what I was planning to do anyways, so it's just an extra reason. And you know, you could always stay here. You'd have to take classes and stuff, but it's not so bad...well, the homework kinda sucks. But you get to meet people from all over. And you can travel on the weekends if you need to. There's a teleportation room and everything. You should listen to me. I obviously got all the brains in the family," she added with a smirk.

Nurse Julie politiely raises her hand as to ask a question of them waiting to be acknowledged.
About how many of these asses will you be kicking? I'll prepare the beds for thier arrival.
she seems rather polite in her question, It seems she is actually expecting casualties.
Tryko'Sam |
One wave farewell and reality shifting position later, Sadie and Tryko'Sam are back, standing not far from Vai and Anahita.
Tryko'Sam grins brightly and stands up straighter, walking over.
"Major success, Pelor priests are ready for transfer of injured folk. We can blast off this rock and head back to the school in less then twenty, Boss. Just waiting on the ready signal Pelor side before I start moving folks again. Nice town, loaded clergy, seem like good and trusting folks. Hopefully they aren't shysters bent on slaverry or something wild I didn't notice."
He sounds partially playful when saying thism nodding a greeting again at Anahita who seems to gaze at him, en away, then back again as if witnessing a horrible car wreck-- wanting to look away, but finding it difficult, resolving it by partially glancing his and Vai's way.
"If there's no objections, once I see the Pelor peeps ready, I'll just move the people again. Then we can be back at Avalon, enjoying a nice magically altered beer or something. Can't wait. Annoying else we end to do here? OH-- and before I potentially forget, I'll need to return here and check in on the Sister helping us, maybe try give her a hand in return for the help or something. Seems fair."
He concludes the talking by standing there with arms folded on his chest, a confident smile on his face. Apparently he is waiting for some sign.
Anahita bint Tariq |
Watching, partially now, the villagers as Tryko'Sam returned and seemed to call attention to himself standing near Vai and herself, Anahita could not help but think numerous mixed thoughts and feelings looking the dark haired, leather wearing, confident speaking ...boy, man over.
In order to distract herself from her feelings and thoughts she spoke up, "The villagers appear mostly healthy, yet perhaps sedated by a mild venom. Hopefully nothing life threatening. One of our recent joiners went for a walk, though, I do not suspect he was leaving us utterly. Perhaps he went to examine the perimeter, or spotted something. I am eager to leave here, this world, sooner than not- we are potentially disrupting the balance by being here longer."
Fairly even in tone and once completed, she utters a quiet 'excuse me', before walking away from the dark haired one, his presence was disrupting her attempts at self reflection, give the mental conversation between herself and Vai, who hadn't replied yet. More questions, they didn't reach her features though, she still had a mask of calm in place.
Moving to walk among the villagers, she gave them cursory examinations, in preparation of their traveling once more.
Jessa Mar'Niell |
Nala frowned. "Well, that didn't work as well as intended. I'm going to need to give you another treatment. I need to give you virus blockers that can self-replicate...I'd just have you do multiple treatments, but I can't be sure how much to space them apart and it's too much of a risk to let you be around people if there's a chance the virus can bypass the blockers. Really, they shouldn't still be doing that. Not without a guiding sentience...."
"You keep referring to this she. Tell me about her. Who is she? Are we talking about the virus sentience or some kind of implanted personality? She's linked to your consciousness?"
Almost speaking to herself as Nala examines the scan results, "I told you; it cannot be stopped. They tried, and they knew how it was made."
When Nala asks about the person to whom Jessa has been referring, she does not reply immediately, and sounds reluctant to speak when she does, "Talking about her makes her, um, stronger?" Jessa takes a deep breath and continues, "She is me. Only she is not me. I do not know how to explain. Sometimes I am in control of myself, and sometimes I cannot do anything except watch what she does with me." After a brief hesitation, she continues "I do not think she knows that I am actually real. I think that she thinks she is dreaming right now. She is very hard to keep away when she wakes up." Jessa seems about to say more but does not.
Vickory West |
"Yes, we did. Do you know her?"
After Tryko'Sam returns, Vickory bids fare well to te couple and when he mentions returning to a school, "School? You live at a school? If it has a library, may I return with you? I have a few things I need to research. Not to mention it would be a good place to learn about this world if I am going to be stuck here for awhile."
Kevin Ramos |
"Here we go then."
He lifts his massive wings up and begins to swing them, hard and slow, eventually, he begins to lift off the ground, taking to the air with the rock Roel following.
Every beat of his wings leaves a small bit of thin misty liquid that is gone almost before it hits the ground.
He swings around the lake, then over the forest between the school and the city, enjoying every moment of it.
"Let's see how fast we can go!"
One of the bottles floating in his midsection pops open and a purplish color spread from where it is and diffuses into him.
He begins to move faster than he had, with magically accelerated movement.
Roel can feel a similar feeling as well.
Haste on the both of them.
Tryko'Sam |
"Yes, we did. Do you know her?"
After Tryko'Sam returns, Vickory bids fare well to te couple and when he mentions returning to a school, "School? You live at a school? If it has a library, may I return with you? I have a few things I need to research. Not to mention it would be a good place to learn about this world if I am going to be stuck here for awhile."
Glancing the snake female girl over once, Tryko'Sam smiles and says, charmingly, "Not exactly my place, I think, not to invite -- but, so far as bringing people back, we're limited by transportation means. Nothing a few years won't fix for me, with proper triangulation and such, but ... uh, in short, sure? I think. I'm relatively new. I'll let someone explain, like this lovely girl here, Sadie, the serious."
He motions to Sadie, by way of introduction and passing the query from Vickory over to her to field.
"You got my vote, though. Though, it's still a school-- if you're into learning and growing as a person, I think that's what they are about, no raving monsters, please."
He grins regardless, apparently in a good mood.
GM Fireclaw |
Belsayv
While Tryko'Sam is waiting for the signal from the priests to begin trasnport, the mysterious stranger returns with fresh meat from his hunt, looking to assist in feeding the villagers and aiding in their recovery. The stranger is told not to build a fire though, as the villagers would be moved shortly anyway.
Meanwhile, Vai asked Tryko'Sam not to move two specific villagers, as they would be coming back to Avalon. When questioned, she explains quietly to Tryko'Sam the details of why they come to Belsayv in the first place - the identity of the school's attacker, and her own fear that her parents would've been the next target. Avalon is at least more able to respond to potential threats.
The signal is eventually given from the priests of Pelor that they are ready, and Tryko'Sam begins to transport the barely conscious villagers to a more proper long term care solution. The transportation itself is done and over fairly quickly, and the priests and priestesses begin their work in earnest to begin the healing process.
Back at the camp, Vai looks around at the gathered group, and there is a small smile on her face. At least she knew she could count on her friends. She sets about getting the Starcasters ready for use, re-programming their locations to return them to the green just outside of Avalon's front doors. She introduces herself to the mysterious stranger, and tell both him and Vickory that Avalon is a school, and welcomes everyone who does not wish harm on another. She offers them a Starcaster each. The number of Starcasters isn't really a restriction as the Champions could simply go to Avalon and bring the devices back.
Eventually, everyone is arrived at Avalon safely. Vai thanks everyone profusely once again for putting themselves at risk and devoting their time to help her. Up to this point, she hasn't spoken a word to her parents, and they've stayed quiet as well, having been among the first to shake off the effects of the sedative.
Vai Sunwake |
Vai takes another deep breath and exhales, catching the last light of the setting sun on her face, and asking Lathander to help keep her anger calm. "Phaeze, you can drop the invisibility now. They're going to have to get used to it sooner or later."
"I'm going to take them to the infirmary now. Thanks again everyone. I could not have done it without you." she says graciously, looking at each one of those who had helped her in turn.
To the two strangers they had encountered (assuming the mysterious stranger decided to come with), she nods to them as well and adds. "You two ought to speak with the Headmaster if you want to stay at the school."
With that, she takes another breath and turns to her biological parents, and reaches a tentative hand to each of them, hesitating slightly as she does. Then she says the words of a spell, magic coursing through her and she reaches out to them, and all three of the Emkar family vanish away from the green and to the infirmary.
Lang Fei |

"Grim-kun... that's alot of firewood!" Midori exclaims as Grim crashes the party, dragging the tree behind him.
Lang looks amazed at the care Midori has taken to retrieve the flower and was about to comment on the bees making honey from the flower...until she mentions using the flower to make a poison.
he glanes at the honey jar then to Sara. he looks a bit worried now, wondering if he had just eaten poison?
P...P...P...Poison? he says a ting of fear in his voice. what are the symptoms. I think I'm feeling woozy, Do I look alroght?, Is My tongue turning purple? I think that's a bad sign He looks to Sara sticking ut his tongue as he asks this.
Phaezeriel |
Vai takes another deep breath and exhales, catching the last light of the setting sun on her face, and asking Lathander to help keep her anger calm. "Phaeze, you can drop the invisibility now. They're going to have to get used to it sooner or later."
Phaezeriel appears standing a little to Vai's left, a slight smile on his face as he watches Vai and her parents, his featureless silver eyes unreadable.
"I'm going to take them to the infirmary now. Thanks again everyone. I could not have done it without you." she says graciously, looking at each one of those who had helped her in turn.
Pahezeriel bows deeply to Vai, his wings spreading out and forward making the bow more elaborate. His thoughts come clearly to everyone nearby, ::I am always ready to lend a hand, Vai. It was my pleasure.::
To the two strangers they had encountered (assuming the mysterious stranger decided to come with), she nods to them as well and adds. "You two ought to speak with the Headmaster if you want to stay at the school."
With that, she takes another breath and turns to her biological parents, and reaches a tentative hand to each of them, hesitating slightly as she does. Then she says the words of a spell, magic coursing through her and she reaches out to them, and all three of the Emkar family vanish away from the green and to the infirmary.
Phaezeriel nods to the others and flies in through the main doors to the school, relieved to be home safe.

"Since i was about 6. It wasn't very strong then, but it began interfering with my magic. I was casting at four. At about seven, cantrips became hard. Soon thereafter, i took up the sword and trained with my parents by Dodging spells, because magic wasn't really possible. At that point, they noticed magic sometimes failed on me. It snowballed from there, getting stronger and stronger, till i wound up here."
he walks forward, not even turning back to look at you as he speaks.
"And... It was nothing."

1d20+20 Ref, wow, just made it, and thanks to Evasion, he takes no damage.
Sensing that things are getting a bit out of hand, the unseen assassin switches tactics. He hurls a stone about the size of a clenched fist at David 1d20+31
The stone explodes in a loud thunderclap Dave, and Tyrrin if she's within 30ft, make a Ref save DC 20 or take 4d6 Sonic damage and a DC 25 Fort save or be deafened for 1d4 hours
** spoiler omitted **
Wasn't sure if Tyrrin would be within 30ft of David considering she just flew straight up after the explosion in the square. That'll be up to you as DM. If she is, here is the saves:
Reflex: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26
Fort: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19
If Deafened, spell failure chance for Scintillating Pattern: 1d100 ⇒ 84 Success.
