Jaiye |
Jaiye wrote:::Wait, what???!::::Let's fight together. It shouldn't be any more cheating than what he's doing.:: Ehos returned evenly, completely serious.
She hesitated, before finally replying, her mental voice full of worry. ::If this is what you think is the right thing to do, then just....try to keep out of his reach. He was always good with his claws and at this size it could be very dangerous indeed.::
"Since you're cheating and bringing this world spirit into things, then we're going to have to do something to even the playing field," she said, circling around Silinrul, keeping just out of reach, aiming for a weapon rack where she could replace her damaged tonfa.
Ehos Denulia |
::He's going to attack me Jaiye, if my guess is right. I'll just try to keep him at bay, use that opportunity to try and get him!:: Ehos said, turning and sprinting to the entrance to the dojo area.
In strides the elven boy that Silinrul had already punched in the face once this morning - he's now wearing what appears to be a garish entertainer's garb. No armour to speak of, though he is carrying a shield and rapier... both of which almost seem to shine with an inner light, and might strike fear into the heart of both Lycans - silver.
The elven boy begins to immediately circle in the opposite direction that Jaiye was, keeping Sil between them. One thing Sil should find odd - though the elven boy is making no attempt at being quiet, he doesn't make a single sound. That probably means the elf can't work his pansy magic. The mithral shield is kept up and at the ready against Silinrul as Ehos circles.
Tryko'Sam |
She shook her head. "I'm not sure how to ask. I don't understand what 'normal' looks like here. I'm not really sure what normal is supposed to look like among firebirds except from what I could piece together from eavesdropping on the servants. That's how I know that the lower classes are rarely forced to marry against their will while the higher class status is the more likely that is. But that's a big thing. I don't know about the little things. I....don't know about things like hugs and when and where and with who something like that is okay. And I...I don't know how people act when...I don't know what to expect from someone who is in a bad mood. Or from a teacher when someone gets the wrong answer during a lesson. Or if someone did something that was against the rules....I don't even know the rules! I know what would have happened at home, but I want to know what to expect here," she said twisting her hands nervously in her hair as she spoke.
Not quite grinning, Tryko'Sam says, "Hey, Asha, there's options here, honest. The most important thing, is to listen and remember what other people do, and appear to like- generally. I mean seeing someone slaughtering innocent people and deciding that's your cup of tea, might not float well. Then again, when in Rome, right? Mostly kidding there. Hopefully the teachers aren't obsessive freaks that try to overpower the students, that'd suck balls. So, don't rush, I guess... We will learn what's acceptable here together, and test it out and s%*$."
He grinned and smiled "Plus you got at least two friends so far, that's a plus."
He gives Rena an affirmative nod to her question.
Anahita bint Tariq |
Vai blinks a few times, processing what Anahita had said. "Correct the imbalance... do you mean to kill the other version of me?" Vai asks curiously. Anahita... surprisingly... reminded her alot of Fei at times, in her speech and philosophies. It was surprisingly comforting. "And... I will try to grow and move on. You can't always choose how you feel though."
Not much of a frown at the question of violence, but Anahita says, "Not my immediate thought on resolving the imbalance, but... Noted. This setting does seem to lean towards violence as a method of resolution. Her presence here is an imbalance, as far as I can tell. This imbalance, as I see it also is a direct violation of /this/ setting unless we are now to consider the vastness of infinite temporal planes as well as our own..."
Anahita goes quiet and seems to dwell on just that.
Asha Soleil |
She looked at him utterly bewildered.
"I do not know what tea is or why it is floating in a cup, or what 'Rome' is, or whether this sucking of balls is a good or bad thing and none of this tells me anything at all," she said stomping her foot in frustration and dashing away a few stray tears that she couldn't quite hold in.
Lang Fei |
Lang Fei wrote:"Yes, that sounds like a wonderful idea," she said, brightening at the reminder of the tea party.
We are leaving later this afternoon before dinner time. I hope you decide you will go but I will understand if you decide not to go.
Lang then continues.
you have a tea party to attend also, lets go find the others and tell them about the ceremony and see who wants to go, ok?
Lang lights up seeing ignace and sara happy it seems that his whole goal in life is thier happiness.
Looking to sun Sun, please look after Simba and keep an eye out for the other two.
Lang offers his hand to both Sara and ignace before heading off to find the others
Melody Waverider |
::Melody, I need you to wait and let me know once you've finished loading up the shuttle for your next run. Don't take off without me. I have a special passenger that needs to be taken down in the cockpit. She isn't safe in with the others. I'll be there to keep her from being too much of a pain in the ass for you, but as much as I hate my mother-in-law, I'm not letting her get killed on my watch. Not really sure what to do with her once we land, but at least we can get her there in one piece....oh, and whatever she says, just pay her no mind. She's a bitter hateful person and she'll probably make a nuisance of herself. Sorry in advance.::
Mel, in her flight zone suddenly snaps back to "reality" at Jiminy's communication
You got it boss, and who knows, after a flight with me, she might be a whole new woman.
Mel switches off her mic and turns to Arthur, will you stay here with me if there is room? I may need your help with this special passenger

** spoiler omitted **
Arr made of rock ok, I was thinking the Sun was like a kind of Deathstar that has way more power,
Carl thinks like this, That thing used to light up the whole planet when it was inside out, [from reading the posts about it/ Thats some power, I was thinking are now that would make a really good deathstar if they could 1: move it 2: Focuses the power.] Be a good thing to have defending the planet, I mean 'Just blow something like that up, no-way thinks Carl, its worth a stack of coin and could be used a very big space gun. hehe

Amber & Opel kosmima |
Ehos gives a bit of a withering glare to their spectators, but his datapad is put away in favour of the equipment he was now holding.
Opel
"See now you upset that guy, your such and embraiment"Amber just smile at her then looks back as the Elf gos to the combat
Amber
"Who is he any way? is he going to join in? is that even alowed in a duel?"
Opel
"How would I know, I know as much as you Amber, could be the referee for all we know, this could be a sport, it said SIM room on the door, I think that means Simulation, all this may not even be real"
She looks at her sister like some one looking at a two year old.
Amber just huffs her head up and says
"I knew that!"
Opel shakes her head and then gos back to looking at the Duel, Wile Amber seems to be looking for her Dragon.
Lyere Callidus |
"Alright, you're a student of Avalon Academy now." He hands a piece of paper over. "A map of the school. It will show you where your room and classes are. If you lose it, simply touch the wall and think of your destination. Arrows will appear on the wall to lead the way. Any questions?"
He takes the paper, giving it a cursory glace before nodding "Yes actually, one question, I worship at night but I haven't yet seen any sort of area for that here. Is there one?"
Carl "Ironfist" Promethium |

Opel in a low voice
"Thats silver Amber, that elfs not a come to over see hes come to play deadly"
Amber
Her head snaps round to see and in the same low voice says to her sister.
"O now that's just cheating and I wanted him to win, nows he's going to be shredded by tag team" she huffs sadly, "some honor duel this has is"
Then she smiles as her Fairy Dragon comes back with some pop corn.

"Okay. First things first. What's your first question or not understanding? We'll start a list and answer questions from there. Get focused and sort out your concerns. Don't mind my speech -- I'll fix that."
He smiled warmly though, that should help.

Mel blushes a little at Arthur's comment.
thanks, I don't really get told that much.

"We have a small area near the Theology class that's open to all, but most student's seem to prefer to use their rooms."
"Understandable, however if I were to do that I would need materials for an idol, and I am in short supply there." he shrugs, leaving the parts of the strange phenomena and rituals surrounding his god unsaid
Silinrul |
Silinrul growls low as Ehos enters the battle "Shall we just end this farce of duel now dear sister? Clearly if you require his help that must mean you can't beat me on your own. Submit now and we can leave here and be back home before the month is out"

"Oh, please. This duel was invalid from the moment you started using magic, brother. He wants you to understand that he is capable of standing with me as an equal. Or you could try fighting me alone, but doing it properly, with just yourself."
Jiminy, Prankster of the Future |

He smiled warmly though, that should help.
She took a deep breath. "When I was at home, if someone was in a bad mood, or if I got an answer wrong during lessons, or if I broke a rule I would get hit. In what way and how much depended on who was doing it, but the result was always the same. Whatever damage was done to me could be easily fixed with a little fire so it wasn't considered a big deal."
"But when you were in a bad mood, Rena gave you a hug, and nobody got hit at all. So now I'm confused and I don't understand how things are supposed to work. How are people supposed to act in those situations? I don't want to make a fool of myself because I don't understand...now do you understand what I'm asking?"
Headmaster Ryo |
Headmaster Ryo wrote:"We have a small area near the Theology class that's open to all, but most student's seem to prefer to use their rooms.""Understandable, however if I were to do that I would need materials for an idol, and I am in short supply there." he shrugs, leaving the parts of the strange phenomena and rituals surrounding his god unsaid
"You'll find your room will have the idol you'll need. The school provides, you see, for those that mean it or it's inhabitants no harm."
HRMS-XI "Hermes" |
"Yes. Sir does indeed enjoy the company of females. I have often seen him demonstrate his prowess, while I was performing "Wingman" protocol. He is know throughout our local area of our home planet for his romantical knowledge and ability to satisfie the female gender."
::Sir, I have recited previously discussed facts in relation to your romantic life, that you have described as 'stretching the truth.' I am now informing you that I have done so as was also previously discussed.::

"I will keep that in mind, thank you Headmaster" Lyere stands, grinning, you can briefly see two rows of sharp teeth before he closes his mouth. Showing that he isn't human, if the headmaster didn't already know. "I hope you have a good day, from what I've heard, the day before was a long and devastating one" he then walks out of the room, closing the door behind him and pressing his hand to the wall in order to find Settro, his class list held in his other hand.
Tryko'Sam |
With a warm charming smile Tryko'Sam says, "Well, from where I remember, you only hit someone you're abusing or want to abuse- not someone you care about. That's what idiots who use physical force to express their attempt at control with fear and or pain. Not a good thing, in my understanding, at all. So, hitting someone, probably bad. The hugging though? Usually a universal feel good gesture. If you find you or someone else don't like it- don't impose. I wouldn't want to be hugged by just anyone, see? Takes a bit of time to learn who's into it and who isn't. I think Rena is really into it, and depending on who's around, I sure don't mind. Your folks, no offense, would be thrown in jail where I came from..."
He gave a quick smile after that comment.
Asha Soleil |
"Oh," she said, letting out a big breath as she felt so relieved by that answer. "I see. So the hitting is not normal. And the hugging is a sometimes thing. Well, I feel a lot better about going to classes now. I was worried since I know I'll be very behind on a lot of basic things. Now it seems much less scary," she said, her cheerful demeanor returning. "I'm sorry that was so difficult. It took me a while to figure out how to explain what I needed to know."
Jaiye |
"Oh, I get it," she sneered. "it's totally okay to cheat when it's favorable to you. You can dish it, but you can't take it. Sorry to break it to you, but until you started with the magic, I was playing this exactly by the rules. There's a lot more of our people here than you seem to realize."
Ehos Denulia |
::And this doesn't concern only the Lycans, so why do we have to play by those rules anyway? He really does bluster on doesn't he? Almost as bad as my Mother. Geez.:: Ehos grinned at Jaiye from across the dojo. He was coiled and tense. Not making a sound, the mobius strip bracelet about his wrist securely.
Rena, the Companion |
"Oh," she said, letting out a big breath as she felt so relieved by that answer. "I see. So the hitting is not normal. And the hugging is a sometimes thing. Well, I feel a lot better about going to classes now. I was worried since I know I'll be very behind on a lot of basic things. Now it seems much less scary," she said, her cheerful demeanor returning. "I'm sorry that was so difficult. It took me a while to figure out how to explain what I needed to know."
"No. The only reason to hit someone is to defend yourself or other innocent people. Hitting because you messed up something? That's wrong Asha. Now that you're free, don't put up with it. The wards can protect you from people who will want to hurt you here at the school, and the Headmaster did say that he wouldn't let anyone take you away against your will. Right?" Rena stroked Asha's arm gently, comfortingly, and brushed a little hair back away from her face too.
With the matter resolved, Rena nods and extends an arm to both Tryko'Sam and Asha, so that she could walk between her two friends, all smiles. She whispers something into Tryko's ear if he comes near...

Not much of a frown at the question of violence, but Anahita says, "Not my immediate thought on resolving the imbalance, but... Noted. This imbalance, as I see it also is a direct violation of /this/ setting unless we are now to consider the vastness of infinite temporal planes as well as our own..."
Anahita goes quiet and seems to dwell on just that.
Vai shakes her head slightly, seemingly taken aback by Anahita's assumption. "Are you suggesting that if she comes back to Avalon - I'm surprised she hasn't yet, if her goal was to destroy - that we not fight her? Violence isn't my preferred path, but I will not allow her to hurt any more of my friends. Even if I have to kill her, or die trying." Vai says, gesturing in a cutting motion, just a little ferociously. Her passion becoming unbridled in that moment as the shy, demure girl slips away to be replaced with this woman so fierce in her convictions.
And then it slowly receeds, with the dragon girl taking deep breaths, regaining her self-control. "Maybe there's... a way to send her back to her own timeline or... something? Nature seeks a balance, that's one of the natural laws of the universe. I mean, look at diffusion - perfect example."
